Nice video. I was blown away by the 12ah longevity. I bought one expecting to get another later to cycle between but just haven’t needed to it goes on forever for my needs. I have the smaller m18 saw and it’s absolutely awesome 👏🏻 👍🏻
I’m dewalt all day long. But after what you said about end confession (I knew it would be about battery)..having watched all what you do..that I have to say is simply awesome 🙌
Great video Simon 👏🏼 Not surprised by your summary at the end 🙂 Will be interesting to see how well those batteries are performing in 1 - 2 years time. Not cheap to replace them I'm sure !!
I’ve always had Mikita but after having had problems with the drills going wrong it was time to try something different ,so I did try Milwaukee and wow what or why didn’t I try before .slowly I’m changing to them great stuff 👍🏻
The makita drills do have bad chucks which is annoying, but I hear many stories of Milwaukee tools being sent for repairs. The quality is just not built to last. Plus I rather have light, smooth and quiet too and save my health that go for power and be handicap myself down the road
You should try 190mm mighter saw... It's small, and light. Very portable specially when you have to drag it up the ladder somewhere and do some trim work. With 8ah battery last all week of... its crazy. BTW I've got both saws and With 12" had issues 3 times was in service 2 times electronics failure and 1 time I didn't even realise fence wasn't straight 😮 But when everything was sorted.... damn what a beast... I love it just like you do I would love to see your opinion on the little saw 190mm one
Not been hands on with the smaller one and can't justify having 2, and given that often we have to cut large section timbers this seemed like the best option. Im sure the 190mm is a very good tool as well though.
Yeah i have the flexvolt saw, can do 2 or 3 days with the 9ah, i think that these motors are much more suited for a dc voltage since all motos are and that is why corded saws give a big kick, that start up. The 15 amps is for the hard start of the motor and that is generally the highest draw, when running it isnt that high of an amps machine. Brushless is the way to go imho.
I have the US version of this saw. Is nice but when building my pool deck this summer, the saw can’t run in the heat. The summer sun kept overheating the batteries. I had to keep several batteries in the shade and rotate them out after several cuts. Then remove the batter and keep it in the shade until ready to cut again. Not thrilled about that. Otherwise it sliced through the 2x12 beam lumber.
You Got a fan now. Its so refreshing to watch a video about this, seemingly awesome product whithout the person talking about it, has to shout and scream about everything all the time. 👍🫶💪 Can you also do a video Of the bench/cart ? Kind regards Luis h.
Very good video as always, what is the average run time would you say for the big batteries? You would be great on a tv show, you put your point across well in the videos Simon.
Thanks for uploading the review. Am looking into which brand of 10 or 12 inch cordless saw. And the thing that most seem to miss from the reviews is the simple accuracy of the cut, 90° for instance, especially as they travel so far on the arms. Any thoughts on how youve found this one. Thanks Simon
I have only two complaints, we had an electric failure after about a year of occasional light use the provided blade never even got dull, then Milwaukee wanted to not honor their warranty on a registered tool because the receipt had been misplaced, the repair center ultimately did have it fixed under warranty.
I love the stand, it's been fantastic. It's so easy to move around and with the arms being fully adjustable it has supported every bit of timber I've put over it. Id be interested to know what you didn't like about it?

Likewise… the 12ah battery is phenomenal!
I literally cant believe how fast it went through that oak!
Neither could we the first time we used it! Brilliant machine!
Great in depth look at this cutter bowler thanks, and well done on the edit MCM 👏🏼
You’re welcome, and thanks for watching 😁
Great Video and product showcase by the craftsman that knows 👍

Not a Milwaukee fan to be honest but this setup looks amazing! Perfect for someone that does the style of work you do 👊🏻🧡 great review mate. 🤙🏻
Cheers matey, thanks for watching 😁👌🏼

Interesting about the voltage.
Nice video mate. That is a huge saw. 👍🏻
It’s a beast! 👌🏼🔴

Really impressive saw. Does it come with the shadow line? I understand that this may be missing from the UK versions...
I’ve got the 305mm dewalt and although I do like it. This looks next level, I bet those high capacybatteries are dear though 😅
It is a great machine, the big batteries are a bit of money, but you can run it on smaller l ones 👍🏻

Can you also do a video Of the bench/cart ?

Great machine and detailed video
Thank you very much!
If you are sponsored by Milwaukee and get the tools for free you are not going to give a bad review. Good work and video's.
If there was anything I didn't like I am always honest about it. I honestly love this thing, it's not missed a beat since I took delivery.
Man the uk packout box’s look so much better than the American version.
I’ve had a few people say the save!
Great Video 👏👏
Thanks for watching Chris, much obliged 👍🏻

Get me in the tele! 😂 if we have to change it once in the day it’s been a pretty heavy day!
Nice stand! Unfortunately not available in Australia. Does any other brands have something similar to offer?
There’s a few brands that do them, search for ‘mitre saw stand on wheels’ 👍🏻

Hi,
Ive never had a problem with it at all to be honest. It always seems to be true across the full cut
New to the channel. Loving these boots. Can't wait to be able to get my hands on a pair. Any idea on a release date?
Not yet, but I’ll keep you posted 👍🏻
Now then, Great Video Gents.
Now Then 🙋🏻♂️ thanks for watching 😁👍🏻

Glad you got it sorted
Ive had my Makita LS 1013 for years bur this machine looks amazing. How much are they ?
It is amazing, cost depends on what batteries you get, the stand etc. Google will guide you 👍🏻
Great video mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
What jeans are they mate? They look similar to the Bisley I wear here in Aus but seem to have more pockets.
These ones are snickers 👍🏻
Cheers mate! @@simonbowler1
Dear Santa I know it's a bit late but...
😂 nah, early for next year, that’s all!
Grate video
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
1:21 in. I’m gonna guess « accuracy » is the missing ingredient.
Do you prefer the 12 over the 10”
I watched this and decided to buy metabo. You didn't say 1 negative thing about the saw or stand, i owned that stand and it was utter crap.
I love the stand, it's been fantastic. It's so easy to move around and with the arms being fully adjustable it has supported every bit of timber I've put over it. Id be interested to know what you didn't like about it?
