Adam! Great video again! I just shared it with the team. Hey man, I know we don’t live too far from each other. I’m here in Denver. Just wanted to see if you would like to go on a hike sometime. You have really helped our team a lot!!

I did 700k in sales in my first six months. I got to a point where I didn't want to knock another door. I lost a $330k contract because a client did not give me the choice to flip an EASY flip. Storm damage everywhere on the roof and we had just flipped a neighboring property.
The job felt meaningless. I felt like I couldn't control my financial growth.
I got obsessed with maintaining #1 sales position in my company but I was already managing 12 customers simultaneously. and grieving the loss of an easily flippable quarter-million contract.
All of a sudden, I was crying in my car and calling my mom in tears while I drove around. I started drinking just to numb out.
Fast forward. I took a four day vacation and filed two homes on my third day. I set a boundary to knock 4-5 hours four days a week after mapping out my route. I also just sent 40 mailers. I also started workout in the morning.
This career is miraculous. I have three weeks worth of $3-4k checks approved in my hopper. I CAN choose how much money I WANT to pursue.
If I have five claims in my hopper I will set a smaller goal for four the next week, three the next, and then ramp back up to five. Space your financial cram weeks!
I don't want to be part of the 66% who quit this. Two years in this is my minimum career goal for roofing.
Oh yeah! Adam, study "TEMPTATION BUNDLING." Combine temptations with the "suck." I love video games but I only play them when I am on my recumbent bike at reasonable resistance and I do two sets of weight reps any time I "die" or hit a hard puzzle.

Joseph, thanks for being real and sharing your story dude. It's inspiring to see you go down a dark path and then emerge even stronger and clearer on the other side.

I’m starting off in the roofing game as an appointment setter door to door and I’ve really become invested in your videos. Only place on CZcams with real knowledge around it all, thank you!

Adam, I’ve been going through your videos and seeing your growth has been awesome. Not only that, you’re helping others reach their goals and break out of their shells. It seems no matter where you’re at in your sales journey, what you share is always applicable. I do internet sales, and commented awhile back, since then I’ve been far more confident, friendly, and empathetic. That lead to my first sales month where I actually made great money. I especially appreciated the childhood trauma superpower video. Cannot thank you enough for doing what you do, I know it can get hard sometimes, but you’re motivation to keep pushing, helps push me.
