Manchester United had one of the biggest tragedy in football when United's plane with their 1st team on-board crashed in Munich. They had the best players and Youngsters in the world at that time. Many lost their lives. They got relegated. But they bounced back and won the UEFA champions leagues in very little time. They are the first English team to win UCL (European cup).
After all this time always ( I am a united fan I know they are going in a bad phase since Fergie left but I am very loyal towards the club and will take the defeats and Wins humbly without harming any other persons other club ideal and his admiration
Very tragic indeed, but compared to FC Torino, Man United had it better tbf. Torino, unlike now, were beasts and one of the masters of Italian football back in the day, but Torino's plane crash in 1949, alongside some financial problems that followed, is literally the reason why they aren't as competitive since.

Once you support a club you're all in for the good times and the bad. I'm Arsenal BTW, United will get back sooner or later because their scale is big. We had 2 years finishing 8th but are getting better, United need a clear out and not only in players but wider management, the club's become nought more than a friendly place for ex-players to nostalgically relive past glories and whine how young un's today are not like back when they were nippers. United need to clean out the influence that ex-players have in the club because they just undermine the current squad, but the wider management let them so they need to purged and made professional again.
FUN FACT: RB Leipzig which was founded in 2009 have never been relegated from Germany's Bundesliga since it got promoted to it.
Fun Fact: Augsburg, Hoffenheim and Union Berlin also never got relegated. And atleas those are clubs who were founded by people of the region that just wanted to play football..

Zenit have won 8 russian titles, uefa cup, uefa super cup & managed to making it to round of 16 of ucl. they have been relegated from russian top league in 1992 which was first edition of russian league. It took them 4 seasons to return to top level.
