As a former Senior Accountant at a hospital, let me confirm that we truly don't care. In fact, if a variance was less than $20,000, I was told to focus my time on other tasks. It wasn't worth my time (even if a variance is 50k, it still is not material but we would get curious what is causing the variance well before then).
It is worth mentioning the electricity used to run all the hospital equipment, lights, etc is so high that the handful of electric vehicle spots would be considered a rounding error if you compared it with the total electric costs.

Considering what hospitals charge for a Tylenol, hell yeah. Plug in. Doesn't bother me any. How do they get away with charging $5.00 for ONE Tylenol, when it doesn't even cost $5.00 for an entire bottle, and these people are worried about a few dollars in electric? Trust me, that's about all the power they are getting plugged into THAT outlet.
You wish it was $5 for a Tylenol, try $30 plus the fee to have the nurse hand it to you. I wish I was exaggerating.

If you DON'T have insurance, you are going to get screwed. Sub par insurance, screwed. But if you have a really good company, you are going to get a great deal. They work together, you know? The owner of that electric car was guaranteed an employee of the hospital and the hospital offered a free charging station as one of its incentives for employees, just like getting your own FREE parking spot just for you where you work.

Imagine your life being to that miserable you can’t mind your own business. Most hospitals have solar panels on their roofs these days so she was solving nothing. I pay for my gas in my vehicle like the rest of us and it would not bother me if I seen someone doing this. 😂 I’d be like “aye look at this guy” 😅

This is why there's devices called Karen blockers for EV's like Tesla, locking the plug to the car with the car's central locking.
If the hospital put up some charging stations, this wouldn't happen because it would be physically impossible to unplug when the car are locked.
If this Karen voted out those who protect medical insurance in the US, then she'll see her taxes go up, but her income and medical expenses should drop significantly.
You've got several of the top 5 richest people and their businesses located in the US, make them pay the same tax percentage as Karen here and free healthcare and free education wouldn't be an issue anymore.
Do the same with the top 10% earners, people and businesses, and you'd start to solve your foreign debts too.
The US has delivered so many positive benefits to the world, but your politicians has removed them an mass because it's "socialism and communism" when it couldn't be further from the truth.
All the deregulation of businesses are a direct detriment to the citizens, the environment, the employees and the companies themselves, because well regulated industries are innovative industries that try to improve their business to reduce or negate the potential effects of the regulations on their business models.
When regulations are removed, the companies stagnate in their current form, just trimming down the production line to be as effective as possible, but preferably producing the same products as for 50 years ago.
Deregulation are a cumulative effect on the car industry, now most car manufacturers produce a product for the US market, but that are so far from the international market that they barely can be sold in 3rd world countries and even that market are dwindling.
I really hope you the people of the USA manage to get yourself out of the cul-de-sac you've been led into by misguided lobbyists.

I work in a Vegas strip casino. The newer slot machines have usb power for people to charge their phones. It's pretty pathetic watching people that can't afford to play the machine having to resort to this, but I don't judge and let them get their juice

I did hear recently that my name is literally going extinct tho. Apparently no one has named a baby girl Karen since 2019! Our hospital has outlets in the staff garage and they've told us to go ahead and plug EV's in if we want. These are only 20amp outlets, not 50amp. If they cared, they would shut the circuits off for those outlets. They're there for visitors and staff to use if needed.
All of the hospitals and in various places around the city have free charging stations and dedicated parking spots for electric vehicles. That nut job would go insane here 😅
Honestly, im happy someone is using that lonely outlet. Im not sure if i seen outlets in parking lots before but i feel like its probably not used much. Why is it weird that she was capitalizing electricity? It’s literally one of the most lucrative resources on the planet. Electricity cost money. I don’t get what’s so hard to understand about this? Why does owning a Tesla make you suddenly not have to pay for electricity? Someone is paying for it. Likely taxes. And no I don’t want to pay for other peoples transportation. I have to pay for my transportation and I’m struggling to keep my head above water here. Also there are many other things that our tax dollars can go to that aren’t paying for freeloading off others.

I work on a hospital campus. We have 2 EV plug spots in one of the employee parking lots that has parking time limits and it's not specifically just for employees. Nobody cares. (There may actually be more, i just don't go through all the parking lots)

Health care *_should_* be free. Brit here. When I go to the hospital, treatment doesn't cost a penny. It's paid for via national insurance contributions from everyones wages. It's a fantastic system. It's just a pity that our current government is destroying it. 😢😢😢💀🤷

Also, besides the fact that it’s none of that ladies damn business for real. But also the fact that it’s in a hospital, she has no idea who that car belongs to. I literally just got out of being in the hospital for almost 2 weeks straight with my two year-old on tons of machines and medication’s almost in the ICU. It was the most dramatic thing. My husband and I had been through so she has no idea if the car belongs to someone who loved boys in the hospital and they’re just in a pinch because when your loved ones are sick or hurt everything falls by the wayside all you care about is that person in the hospital. Damn it could be a nurse or doctor like it’s not her damn electricity, look at me being a Karen here complaining about this lol😂😂

What if someone in their family had a medical emergency and they didn't have time to charge. You don't know what someone's situation may be, mind your business. You're not paying the bill. If anything, notify the hospital and let them handle it.
