I always get chills at the end of this part. The way they hyped up Ichiro without even saying his name was beautiful.
Right when they brought up Griffey meeting someone in '95, I knew it was Ichiro. So crazy that Griffey knew he'd eventually go home one day, and gave us one of the greatest (If not the greatest) hitters of all-time. Man this team is crazy weird! 🤪 Thanks for checking in with the comment. Much appreciated bro. 🙏
Could you imagine if the cards had fallen right and this could have been the Mariner’s batting order?:
1. Ichiro
2. Rodriguez
3. Griffey
4. Martinez
5. Ortiz
6. Buhner
That would have been a sick lineup! Just add Bret Boone, Dan "The Man" Wilson and I'll go with David Bell. So many what ifs. Thanks for tuning in and for the comment. 👍
@@eddiebready23 Alternatively, you could move A-Rod to 3B like the Yankees did and plug Carlos Guillen in at SS.
Of course, I guess Guillen also played 3B when he moved to Detroit, so call it 6 vs. a half-dozen.
All thats needed is the mans arm and chills
