I’ve been lucky to have owned all of the big three’s trucks. They’ve all had their issues. I went back to Ram because out of the three it felt like a solid truck. I have that same truck but in a 18. Should have held out a year but the true 5th gen comes out next year. GM was too expensive for what you get and I cannot bring myself to buy a aluminum truck. Great review can’t wait til the 21 HD Ram comes out. Knowing Ram/Dodge it will be a game changer.

I just bought this truck in Delmonico red and I love it! Great review. Lots of room left in the budget for upgrades I want, like winch and bumpers, wheels and tires, leveling kit, etc. I've done all that and I'm still under 50 g

Al Sims how is it with power? I have a 1500 now. And live in Arizona so I do go up in the mountains maybe twice a month. In my 1500 it’s constantly shifting up and down. And when I do haul or tow. I can tell my 1500 doesn’t like it to much.

You will love it in the mountains. We pulled a Geo pro that weighs a little over 3lbs to Payson and you couldn’t tell it was back there. I also do not exaggerate that at all. It is just stiffer suspension since it’s a 2500 truck but you get use to that.

I have the 2022 Laramie version of this truck. If you don't use cruise control to limit the speed, it's very quick to exceed 90 mph and not notice the difference until the state trooper mentions it. The transmission is in overdrive, so the truck is still very quiet at these speeds. Driving 65 on the highway is supposed to benefit fuel economy.

There should be a second hidden compartment located under the seat of the center front seat. The dealer didn’t even know it was there and I found it accidentally on mine.

My truck has the 40/20/40 front seats with the center being the flip up center seat/arm rest which opens up for the storage area. With the top of the center seat section in the up position, the bottom seat portion on my truck has a lever, latch underneath in the front right above the floor that operates much like the upper seat back section.

    Good truck, good video.
Notice that tires most run at 60 -65psi ( minute 5:03) not at 70-77psi (7:15) . Mileage could be "better" due overinflated tires, but safety get compromised. Always follow owners manual directions/recommendations.

I have the 2019 3500 megacab with a 6.4 hemi. At first I averaged 12 to 18 driving 60 to 65 mph. After 6000 miles I'm averaging 16 to 20. In stop and go of street lights it'll average 8 to 11. Very torquey gasser, that 6.4 is a beast. 373 axle ratio. 😁👍
