I would recommend looking in to the Eastern Orthodox Church, one of the only churches that holds to the practices of the apostles. Look up what the Church Fathers, those taught by the apostles and the first bishops ordained by them. Their writings clearly supported the Orthodox perspective of Christianity. Just thought you should look into it, being new to the faith. It took me too long to find the true faith.

We do not believe that she is divine in any way, only the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You are correct, since the first Christians there has never been a belief that Mary was one of the persons of the Trinity.
Mary was the Ark of the New Covenant which is why we venerate her

Therefore, we understand it in the literal sense without drawing any comparison stopping our minds where the Qur'an and authentically narrated Hadith stop them. Such is the belief of Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah. Some scholars are of the view that "and both His Hands are right" means that they are equally meritorious even if one of them is called the left Hand as stated in the Hadith recorded on the authority of Ibn `Umar in Sahih Muslim

This part in the Quran always struck me as weird. As a christian, I study all religions to help give me confidence in that I am following the true faith, including Islam. Muhammad didn't really understand the trinity. For me, I denounce all other religions outside of Christianity yet if I did not understand other religions and said they were wrong anyway, or at least had a poor understanding of them, that would be cocky. However, I study deeply and try my best to come to an unbiased conclusion. The biggest reasons why I am not a Muslim fall into three categories.
1. How Islam branches from Judaism like Christianity but has a poor understanding of Judaism
2. How Muhammad was clearly an immoral man through his words and action as well as obvious facts that make him a false prophet
3. How Islam depicts Jesus, specifically in a way that contradicts everything that Jesus says about Himself.
That last one is especially apparent to me.

It was evident to me that the Koran contained many garbled and misunderstood ideas which the maker of the Koran took as authentic Christian doctrines. When I learn more about Rabbinic Judaism, I realized that the Koran contained garbled version of Judaism as well.

The Trinity is essentially the fundamental belief of Christianity. Non-Trinitarians are not Christians because they reject the divinity of Christ and/or they reject the personhood of the Holy Spirit. There were multiple councils settled over this one issue because of how fundamental it is to Christian doctrine.
while the council of Nicea did determine that the trinity was in the bible officially, it was a widely held, and obviously present, teaching in the bible long before this event came around, you can even find it in the oldest manuscripts from the bible.

Yeah, they use trinity as an argument against Christianity but only because they are dumb to understand it. Trinity is just three "persons" or possibilites how God approached humanity, how he came closer to us. The Quran also says that Mother Mary(Mariam) was the wife of Joseph(Yusuf in Quran).Later chapter of Quran refers Mary as the" mother of Jesus and sister of Aaron( Imran in Quran)". Actually Aaron (cousin of Moses) did have a sister called Mariam(Mary) but there Mohammed got confused while describing Mary (Jesus's mother) and Mary( sister of Prophet Moses and Aaron) - which by logic means that Moses was Jesus's Maternal Uncle (Moses was almost 1400 years before Jesus) and of course the two women named Mary..Islam is false

Allah should have known what all religions teach, but because Muhammad didn't know, neither did Allah. I think the confusing part to some Muslims is the word "Trinity" because it doesn't appear in the Bible. But then, neither does the word "Tawhid" appear in the Qur'an.

The trinity makes so much sense because:
Whenever God wants to do something with his almighty he first wills it, then he does it. That’s how God always works, first willing something and then doing it.
For example: How does God make it that he is eternal. He does the following.
First God wills to be eternal and then he uses the power to realize this will.
so the commandment that God gave himself to be eternal has always existed, he never created it, it has always been there. He can’t just create the commandment to be eternal. Also, the power of God which implements this commandment that he is eternal has always existed, he never created it. He can’t just create the power that makes him eternal
So these things have always existed:
God, the word of God (Jesus) and the power of God that implements the word of God (Holy Spirit)
Only God is eternal because to be eternal you have to be omnipotent , that is why the word of God and the power of God that implements his word (Holy Spirit) are God.
That’s why the the Bible makes soooo much sense when it says
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
It makes soooo much sense why there HAS TO BE three persons that are one God, and not only one person.

Lol no one says 1+1+1=1. That‘s not Trinity. Trinity means there are three living beings. And these three living beings don’t fuse to 1, they exist separately.
It‘s still 1 God because GOD is just a being that has WISHES and realizes his every wish with his POWER. That’s omnipotence, that’s the definition of God. That’s why 1 God always consists of the person having the wish and using his power to realize it (Father in heaven), the wish itself (Jesus) and the power itself (Holy Spirit)

Shadi Almasri the hard part people can’t understand is that God is 3 in 1. God manifest himself as the father, the spirit and through Christ in human form. That’s why using 1 X 1 X 1=1 is relevant. We don’t worship 3 separate Gods but only 1 who takes on 3 separate forms but still 1 God in same. Remember God is infinite. He can be and take the form of anything in universe. For many they lack the understanding the God can do anything
