73:8: Remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him exclusively.
76:25 Glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening.
4) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant [male slave], nor thy maidservant [female slave], nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates....
Quran (62:9) Believers, when the call for Prayer is made on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and give up all trading. That is better for you, if you only knew
(16:124) As regards the Sabbath, We imposed this on those who differed about its observance. Surely your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection about all those things in which they have been differing
5) Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Quran 17:23-24: You shall be kind to your parents. If one or both of them live to their old age in your lifetime, you shall not say to them any word of contempt nor repel them, and you shall address them in kind words. You shall lower to them the wing of humility and pray: "O Lord! Bestow on them Your blessings just as they cherished me when I was a little child."
6) Thou shalt not kill.
Quran 17:33: And do not take any human being's life - that God willed to be sacred - other than in [the pursuit of] justice."
(5:32) Therefore We ordained for the Children of Israel that he who slays a soul unless it be (in punishment) for murder or for spreading mischief on earth shall be as if he had slain all mankind; and he who saves a life shall be as if he had given life to all mankind. And indeed again and again did Our Messengers come to them with clear directives; yet many of them continued to commit excesses on earth
7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Quran 17:32: You shall not commit adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and an evil way.
8) Thou shalt not steal.
Quran 5:38 & 39: The thief, male or female, you shall mark their hands as a punishment for their crime, and to serve as an example from GOD. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.
9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Quran 25:72: And (know that the true servants of God are) those who do not bear witness to falsehood.
10) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant [male slave], nor his maidservant [female slave], nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.
Quran 4:32: Do not covet the bounties that God has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others

As an atheist that was raised strictly protestant, when i read the Quran I had a strong sense it was written by someone who heard the thora/ old testatement and tried to recount it from memory (but doing so badly). The stories are oversimplified and misssing details , missing the plot here and there, adding in things that the person would like to believe , rather than what was actually said. Like a fancyful toddler recounting a story that he heard in school the week before. To hear muslims claim that the jews and christians hold to a corrupted version smells an awful lot like projection to me:)

Ayaats as evidence normally put the number, so go see the translation of the full ayah, the ayah before it, and the ayah after it. Then you will get a way better idea of what the message is. He was all about equal rights. He says that No arab is better than a non arab, and no non arab is better than an arab. Muslims are made to recite the same mantra first thing in the morning and 5 times daily. This daily recital causes not just a strong emotional attachment to Allah and the Prophet Mohammed, but it also causes the mental inflexibility that makes Muslims unable to accept any information that’s against Allah or his Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).
Unfortunately, once a person believes something to be true, (regardless of the truth of that thing. ) that person will instinctively accept and seek out facts and data to support the validity of that belief, no matter how false they may be.
Conversely, when you believe that something is false, your mind automatically goes to work to prove why that thing is wrong and impossible.
Muslims are sincerely honest people who are victims of self brainwashing. The Muslim mind, because of repetition, is usually humming the Al Fatiha and is enslaved by it's own rituals. Muslims can’t objectively analyze or accept any fact that’s contrary to their daily recitals. Muslims are thus unable to criticize Allah, the Quran or the Prophet Mohammed.

"Love the Lord with all your heart..." is Deuteronomy 6:4. "Love your neighbor..." is Leviticus 19:18. If Jesus said those things, where do you think he got them from?

But you did hide in yourself (i.e. what God has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which God will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., Muhammad married the divorced wife of his manumitted slave) whereas God had a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had accomplished his desire from her (i.e. divorced her), We gave her to you in marriage, so that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (i.e. they have divorced them). And God's Command must be fulfilled.

In a sense, what's being said here is not only "I am God," but also "I am your Redeemer."

(16:124) As regards the Sabbath, We imposed this on those who differed about its observance. Surely your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection about all those things in which they have been differing
5) Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Quran 17:23-24: You shall be kind to your parents. If one or both of them live to their old age in your lifetime, you shall not say to them any word of contempt nor repel them, and you shall address them in kind words. You shall lower to them the wing of humility and pray: "O Lord! Bestow on them Your blessings just as they cherished me when I was a little child."
6) Thou shalt not kill.

7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Quran 17:32: You shall not commit adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and an evil way.

Let’s explore what islam says about the 10 Commandments shall we
There are in the Quran certain aayaat (verses) which some scholars call the verses of the Ten Commandments, because they include ten important commandments given by Allaah to mankind. These aayaat are to be found in two passages of the Quran.
The first is in Soorat al-Anaam, where Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
Say: Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to al-fawaahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), whether committed openly or secretly; and kill not anyone whom Allaah has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islamic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.
And come not near to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength; and give full measure and full weight with justice. We burden not any person, but that which he can bear. And whenever you give your word (i.e., judge between men or give evidence, etc.), say the truth even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfil the Covenant of Allaah. This He commands you, that you may remember.
And, verily, this (i.e., Allaah's commandments mentioned in the above two verses) is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become al-muttaqoon (the pious). [al-Anaam 6:151-153]
The second passage occurs in Soorat al-Israa, and may be considered as a commentary on the passage quoted above. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them, but address them in terms of honour.
And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.
Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is ever Most-Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance.
And give to the kindred his due and to the poor and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift.
Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the shayaateen (devils), and the Shaytaan (Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
And if you turn away from them (kindred, poor, wayfarers, etc. whom We have ordered you to give their rights, but if you have no money at the time they ask you for it) and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft kind word (i.e., Allaah will give to me and I will give to you).
And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, not stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty.
Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves.
And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely the killing of them is a great sin.
And come not near to unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a faahishah [i.e., anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allaah forgives him).
And do not kill anyone which Allaah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [to demand qisaas Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e., he should not kill except the killer only). Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law).
And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! The covenant will be questioned about.
And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end.
And follow not (O man, i.e., say not, or do not or witness not, etc.) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned by Allaah.
And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like that of the mountains in height.
All the bad aspects of these (the above mentioned things) are hateful to your Lord.
This is part of al-hikmah (wisdom, good manners and high character, etc.) which your Lord has inspired to you (O Muhammad). And set not up with Allaah any other ilaah (god) lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected (from Allaahs mercy). [al-Israa 17:23-39]
Perhaps after enjoying reading these verses, you will have a better idea of the Quraan than before, and this will be the beginning of a fundamental change in your life, the start of your way to Islam. May Allaah guide and help you always. Peace be upon those who follow true guidance.

Hey Apostate Prophet. I'm new to your content, so I may have just missed the answer to this question, but:
If Muslims believe allah is a monotheistic god, then why does the quran always seem to refer to him as "we"?
I hear muslims say it's the "Royal We" like royal families use, but this does not make sense to me, especially if allah wants to be distinguished as One God and of course that wasn't even a thing until like Henry the 2nd.
Do you know of any muslim sources available that refutes their "Royal We" claim or show the actual reasoning behind the "we" references for allah, in the quran?

thre's a really interesting thing in islam which is the word "اللهم" it is used to refer to god in prayer, it has no meaning in arabic language but muslim scholars claim that it is a begging form of allah as it's used to call allah during prayer sometime but every person who can speak arabic (read and write in arabic) will notice that it can be pronounced Elohim which is a name of god in judaism.
Wrong, "Elohim" is not a name for YHWH. There are false Gods in the Bible also given the title Elohim, which is another way in Hebrew to say "god." Elohim is simply usually used to speak of Jehovah in the Bible, since he is the only true God. Islam is still completely wrong.
