When I was Muslim, I always wondered why the Quran only contained biblical stories and biblical prophets..
What is new in Quran ??
I used to reassure myself that it is because it was sent by the same God..but still the answer was not satisfying or logical because Quran say that prophets are sent to all nations from their own nation and language..
But why were not the names of these prophets in Quran ? Only religious stories of the Bible and prophet of the Bible??

not exactly. What he said regarding Arabic-speaking Christians and Islam's meaning of "Allah" isn't true. "Allah" means the God, as in the supreme being of the universe, while "Ilah" simply means "a god or deity". Likewise, when Arabic speaking Christians refer to Allah, they also mean "the God" or the "supreme being", like in Islam.
For why the Quran doesn't mention Yahweh, the potential answer can be found in the Bible. The Bible was written in three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek and the word "Yahweh" is mentioned only in the hebrew parts, and is absent in the parts that were written in Aramaic and Greek

"Yahweh" is also not mentioned in the New Testament, which was written in Greek, not in Hebrew

Even if the author of the Quran didn't know the name "Yahweh" it doesn't mean it different God. The Bible says that Abraham didn't know the name "Yahweh" (Exodus 6/3), which doesn't mean that Abraham worshipped another God
AP says Islamic God is not God of Jews and Christians just because of differences in their beliefs, like Jews and Christians don't believe that Abraham built Kaaba, Islamic God doesn't love everyone etc. But then God of Christians is not God of Jews because jews don't believe in the Trinity, the original sin, they don't believe in Jesus and many other things from Christianity. "Allah" and "ilah" are not even that different words. In the Arabic language, there is a definite article "al" which means "the":
kitab - a book, al-kitab - the book
bayt - a house, al-bayt - the house
ilah - a god, al-ilah - the god
"Allah" is considered to be shortened "al-ilah". Arabs shorten some words to make them easier to say. For example, the verb "tatanazzalu" (تتنزل) is shortened to "tanazzalu" (تنزل) in the Quran (verses 97/4, 26/221-222), "zalalta" (ظللت) is shortened to "zalta" (ظلت) in 20/97. "Isal" (اسأل) is shortened to "sal" (سل) in 68/40. The word "eat" (imperative) in Arabic is "kul" although it should be "ukul" following common rules for imperatives, so it was also shortened
The evidence that the word "Allah" has the definite article, i.e. "Al" is not part of its root, is a combination of these 3 facts:
1. Its ending takes "kasra" vowel (i) in the genetive case: اللهِ (Allahi), not "fatha" (a)
2. It doesn't have tanween, i.e. "n" sound at the end. It is written as اللهُ (Allahu) in the nominative case, not اللهٌ (Allahun)

It is possible only in the words that have the definite article. For example, الكتابُ (al-kitabu, "the book", nominative form) doesn't have "tanween". Its genetive form is الكتابِ (al-kitabi) and it can't be first word of Construct State unless if we romove its "al" from it: "kitabu al-mudarrisi" (the book of the teacher, literally "book of the teacher")
For the words that lack the article "al", the genetive case must be in one of three ways:
1. With kasra (i) and tanween (n): محمدٍ Muḥammadin, كتابٍ kitabin, بيتٍ baytin
2. With "fatha" (a) and without tanween (n): عمرَ umara, أبيضَ abyada, مساجدَ masajida
3. With kasra (i) for the first word in the Construct State: مساجدِ المدينة (masajidi al-madinati, "mosques of the city") or ماسجدِك (masajidi-ka, "your mosques")
There is no such word as "Lah" in Arabic to which "al" could be added. So we have only the word "ilah" which means "a god" which is indefinite. Arabic doesn't have indefinite article like English "a/an" so when the word doesn't have definite article "al", it is usually indefinite except for proper names or the first word in the Construct State which can be definite without "al"

As a Catholic, I find it rather offensive that people say we and our Jewish brothers and sisters worship the same god that Muslims worship. God or YHWH is not cruel. He does not command us to bring His word to others with the sword. He does not tell us to subjugate women. And He does not tell us to murder Jews! Judaism is the older sister of Christianity. They are, therefore, also our brothers and sisters. Allah is cruel. Allah is not the God of Jews and Christians. He has more in common with the Satan.

How is then science the superhuman of anything? Besides, science moves on when humans prove something wrong. the very concept of the aether is science history now because it has been proven wrong. no1 started a holy war to keep the true faith in aether. Did any religion move on like this (at least a tiny bit) when humans understood a "devine" phenomenon?

I don't believe in gods, thus I am an atheist. But if that is my religion (as you identify it), then you and me share a bunch of religions. a-unicornism and a-gremlinism, f.e. Because neither of us believes in gremlins and unicorns. although, they would be much better than any of our more popular gods these days.

The word Allah has been used by Arabic Christian (pre-Islam).
