    In this video, I will be testing my Element RC Enduro Trailrunner which recently had SSD Brass Knuckles, IERC Shock Keys and Yellow Springs installed. I wanted to see how they changed the Trailrunner. Check out how the Trailrunner did. Also stay tuned to the end where I provide my impressions and thoughts on the upgrades.

    Have you tried different front springs? I have a pair of yellows coming to try.

      I did not try different springs for the front; however, I had tried Yellow springs on the rear. I ended up moving back to stock springs though.

      @@BigSungHobbies your like me brother😂seen the video,the rear only needs a trim lil boy haircut,not a baldy,but it looked really good brother,''REAL TALK'',I read your comments about the wheels,but it climbed my g!!and the way you distributing the weight,and your before and after videos,the trailfinder is getting slowly on my BLACK FRIDAY Hit LIST.imitation is a form of flattery,so if I do get the trailfinder,it'll be modded just like your,minus the little trim!!keep doing your thing brother much respect!!👍🤜🤛🙌P.S.talking at the end video is probably the best part your subs should be in the thousands and it will be!

    So would you say this performs as well as the solid axel version of this rc with similar mods?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 3 lety

      At this stage, I would say my Element Enduro Sendero with equal mods performed better. But let me explain a bit more, because it's not as simple as IFS vs. solid axle. There are 2 big things going against the Trailrunner: 1) small size tires. The bigger 4.7" tires will make a big difference over the class 1 4.19" tires. It will go over stuff easier, and will also raise the ride height which IFS will benefit greatly. 2) weight. The overall weight and weight at top. The IFS and lexan body is much heavier than Sendero with straight axle. I didn't measure them when they were stock, but I would say it's close to 3/4 to 1 lbs heavier, and worse, it's more top and rearward biased weight. I think those 2 things makes a huge difference. As for IFS, it's a different style of driving, but it will surprise you on some lines.

      BigSung Hobbies thanks for the reply, I really like my Sendero and I appreciate the advice you’ve given on the best mods for it. I was just curious about the IFS variant of the truck

    • @BigSungHobbies

      @@simonkubacki9823 I am actually really liking the IFS. I would love to put a 4.7" tires to make it perform better, but for whatever reason, I am very hesitant to take my scissor to the Trailrunner body which will be needed for 4.7" tires. In my honest opinion, if you are getting your first crawler, then go with straight axle. If you are looking for second crawler, then IFS is a great option. We seem to start with one, then somehow the fleet gets bigger :)
