- This is 100% one of the best Trail Trucks I've had the pleasure of owning! I was not sure how the Independant Front Suspension (IFS) was going to work on a truck like this, but I was very very impressed! The Element RC Eunduro Trailrunner 4x4 is Awesome!

Trailing is great,because you can just relax and have fun over a variety of terrain.
These things are much better than you expect them to be, I was with Billy and Jay when they crawled over wet rocks recently and it surprised us all. Element are certainly a brand to keep an eye on for crawlers 👍

The element trailwalker was my first crawler...love it very surprised by the smoothness of the vehicle and how capable it is.

Ive had one of the trailrunners for 5 months. Love it, just recently put the ifs on the gatekeeper and swapped the trailrunner gor scx10.2 portal axles, still running stock electronics

I got my son the Trailwalker and it crawled phenomenally right out of the box. He was able to to run the same lines that I ran with my Gen 1 SCX10 with no problem. Team Associated built a rock solid and capable trail truck.

I wasn't sure if i was going to like it with those tiny tires but that lil truck straight from the box is a beast i can name a few more expensive rigs out there that couldn't compete with it straight outta the box

IFS great for scale look, not necessarily offroadibility, but it does look great, i do like the fact they came out with an IFS kit

The only thing this beast needs aftermarket is bigger tires. Upgrading to 4.19 tires made all the difference in the world when it comes to it's crawling capabilities and for me personally, when I get my new Gladiator body painted I am going to step up again to 4.75s. Happy trailing!
idk i feel like with 4 runners youve either gotta keep the small ones or go to the biggest possible😂 like those on 44s just look so pretty and tacomas on 44s 😍
My local hobby shop has the orange version and it performs fairly well on their indoor comp crawler course which really surprised me as it looks like it it was more built for trail use. The only upgrade they did was wheels and tires. I looked at the gatekeeper many times but still unsure on it until I see 1 in person,lol

So I believe the rest of the solid axle parts are in with the IFS if you look at the axles in the ifs those axles will actually go right into your solid axle housing what's crazy is you got all the parts within the truck

It does have clear windows under the decals I believe... think they did the decals so you're not looking at the electronics etc.

Nice. I’m half done building the gatekeeper at the moment. High quality stuff, but the instructions for the kit could use some improvement.
I'm thinking about the element gatekeeper, kinda bouncer, kinda crawler, but that overdrive is sweet!

I've also thought about getting a gatekeeper and making it a bouncer but the width is a bit narrow and I'm not sure. But then I see this truck and I get ideas for a dessert runner.

Do they sell the Trailrunner body separate? If so, will it fit over an Axial SCX10 chassis?
Cant believe I missed this vid...Omg that thing is beautiful and pretty scale! ...I still want that blue FJ lol 😏...and that F450...but that is super, super sharp! I'd mod the lug nuts off that thing, then shelf it so it wouldn't get dirty. 😎👍
Samix makes some awesome brass parts for the element enduros...they’re scale rotors and brakes are awesome too....I have the original element enduro and a custom gatekeeper....
Looks good and great video. Only issue I could see was the ground clearance didn’t look great, but larger wheels / tyres could improve that.

Great vid, Element RC is lacking publicity compared to Axial and FTX here in the UK so great to see you reviewing some. Not a huge fan of the body, just lacks a bit of realism for me. It would be good to see what the Sendero HD goes like, probably the best looking vehicle in their lineup.

The piece with the two rectangular slots is a dual servo mount for is you convert back to straight axle

Yes Lucas is correct... I have a full time job (Aircraft Electrician/Avionics). This is my Side Hustle and pays for itself... along with companies sending me products to review. It took about 2yrs to start getting anything out of it... so not an overnight thing 😎👍

I really love the IFS on the Element, and their Gearbox is top notch. The GEO I think wins on its performance. Tough choice, I’d probably get an Element if I could only chose 1
Limited turns on that motor, was the torque ok? It looked like it had some wheel speed but sounded like it was struggling.
Torque seemed pretty decent, it’s not really a heavy truck. I’ll be changing over to a Hobbywing Axe system... so plenty of torque to come!
@@TomleyRC nice, I got one of those cheap 60 turn motors off amazon the other day to try and get an a959 to go fast on low rpm with high gearing but after finding out 2s is only going to give me around 6800 rpm I think iv'e over thought this 😅 I'm new with electric but having fun and definitely less hassle than Nitro's thanks for the vids Tom 👍
I know this is a “crawler” but I think with the IFS it would make a cool “Trophy truck” style truck!!!!??

Well ya know... I have both, and I’m not saying the TRX4 isn’t more capable, I just prefer how this drives to the TRX.

It is a pretty solid vehicle, might look a little better if they had licensed the Toyota body, but that keeps the cost down.

Wheels and tyres are just right if you ask me, to many cars come with ridiculous oversized tyres on them not true to life
