Maddy is such a lovely examiner!
It seems like all the attention is on Elisha, she is the center of attraction!
IELTS examiners aren’t that friendly from my experience
@@BonBonneBonjour hahah
@@BonBonneBonjour yeah i thought i would have fun on my test day, just like what i saw on IELTS daily. Turned out my examinor was a bit cold. She didn't care about my speech at all :D
@@BonBonneBonjour lol
*Correction* - 05:57 If I would to = if I were to
i was going to ask this question (:
"I would to" is a mistake in grammer.
hey, Chris! Excited to tell you I got a 7.5 in my speaking! overall 8 band :D I gotta tell you this speaking format of your series really helps visualize how the real test would be and it was comfortable. I think I lost some band when it came to vocab since I didn't use any big words. I thought using them would throw me off and mess with my fluency but I am really happy with this score! thank you so much!
Hi Akshay that's absolutely phenomenal. Many congratulations... So glad the videos were able to help you on your journey.
I did like cod for TV by x
Hi guy, do you think is it possible to get your band without joining IELTS courses?
@@toto-chan8140 why not?
Omg i like this!!! He judges them really well and gives into good insights which we can apply to our own speaking sessions 👍🏼
Welcome Muna
I think this gentleman has at least 2 jobs:
1. An IETLS examiner
2. CEO in Gorgeous Girls Agency.
Jealous lol
@@billy-cg1qq calm down, everything is fine
@@billy-cg1qq I'm telling, I'm good) you better go be useful
Cracked the comment bro)))
true
I'm from Singapore and I would say the way she talks and the vocab she uses are very typical of us here in Singapore. But just a note, here in Singapore we speak English on a daily basis and the whole education system from primary school to high school is taught in English including subjects like math, econs etc. Most of us are better at English than our own mother tongue so we are not really non-native speakers LOL
However, her speaking skill is better than most of the Singaporeans in general . The pronunciation is different. She can speak with the native accent like British, American or Australia . Not typical Singaporean’s Chinese-English accent which is difficult to understand.
Lol , you are a non - native speaker
😃
Could I ask - What is the mother tongue in Singapore? I searched a lot of languages as Chinese, Tamil,.. I got confused
@@huyenbuithao482Singapore has a lot of different ethnic groups, some communities native tongue is Tamil, some Chinese, some Malay etc.
i watched your vids one day before my exam cos i didn't know that you could "study" for a language based exam and i got a 8.5 overall. thank you ❤️
Incredible Hadi - very well done to you on your phenomenal score! :)
Whenever I see this examiner,It make me remember of my mathematics teacher, who was incredibly alluring like this one.
Great job sir. This is by far one of the best and useful English channels I've ever been subscribed to. Very admirable work, and I'm keen to receive the notifications of new uploads.
Amazing. Welcome 🙏🏼
I think it's one of the underrated channel in CZcams, this channel deserves more appreciations . Best of luck!
Thanks so much
I love Chris, he is such a fair examiner, very pleasant and very tactful when giving feed back.
Thanks for the kind comment.
Thank you very much.. this videos are quite beneficial not only for me but also for all people... i love to watch this videos and also i learn lots of things
"My mom just got cancer"
"I see... anyways, let's talk about news"
cant blame the examiner. theyre just doing their job & they have to go on to the next part
This VDO is lit, gives ppl the idea of how the test would process. Also giving the great example and expectation to self-valuate before the real exam. GJ.
Thanks - glad you enjoy it :)
@@IELTSDaily I definitely enjoy your vids, keep up the good work, quality contents. 👏
I've watched this for the 5th time. I hope that there will be more videos of the practice speaking exam, your work helps us a lot!! These videos instill into me the confidence of speaking English
Hi Duong! How great and thanks for the feedback. Lots of videos on ielts-daily.com
Such a wonderful channel I have subscribed! It is very helpful for me! I gotta learn many things from this practice speaking. And the feedback of you sir, really outstanding! I appreciate your work.
Welcome Tamanna. So glad you liked the videos. hope to see you more often :)
Thanks bottom of my heart ❤️
She talks really naturally, she did not use a lot of high level words as a daily conversation. How friendly!
I tend to pick up a lot of great language here. Thanks Chris!
That's great Shan
It's quite common for Singapore get a 8 because their main language is English I was not to surprised
Elisha has a perfect smile TBH 😁
Thank you for a great clip.
You're welcome Naken
It's so helpful, thanks alot 🙏
I'm so glad that most young Singaporeans can get a score of 8.5 in the eyes of Australians! Her GCE 'O' level English result should be sufficient to exempt her from IELTS, though. Well done, my fellow Singaporean! :)
When I took the exam I tried to speak more accurately than making my speech sound more natural and I avoided using like, you know, etc but it’s interesting to learn that those are good points
it would be better if you could share their study plans how did they actually prepare for the speaking session?
and their background studies really play a big role, which will define how much time one needs!
thankuu for providing great content..
Chris, today I gave my test and it was amazing! Thank you man! Hoping to get a good score❤️❤️
Hi Marzia. Hope you get your desired score :)
I am also a beginner and trying to improve my fluency and pronunciation skills thanks for providing this type of content and I love to see more of them.

Hi Curro. Thanks, we're glad you found our videos helpful
Thanks for sharing ☺️
If we can see various people in different scale like 7-6.5, it would be better for us.
Thank you so much we appreciate your good job I wish watching this kind of vedios more from you good luck 🎉

Her smile is so bright 🌞
As I see it, over the years my hometown has gotten much better place to move in with respect to easy accessibility to basic amenities from now to a luxurious lifestyle
Please do more videos, you did a great job. God bless you.
Thanks. We have lots of videos on our channel
I think, most of his students are not living in their own countries when they attended these interviews. It looks like, they took IELTS from English speaking countries based on their accent. Usually native Singapore or Srilankan candidates won't get that kind of slang easily. Nonetheless the mock tests were great!
This is the best channel for not only ielts speaking but also normal. We the job candidates are often nervous to face viva board for lack of fluency
Thanks Joy that's so kind of you to say.
In home town , you can mentioned the difference weather , if you go outside of the foreign countries , you can be compared another countries and weather and say why you like . In the furniture part , you can involve what furniture that you like and connected with the decoration (like me , I like the write colour furniture because of the simple life or minimalism) . In the questions , how often do you use the handwriting --> Please mentioned about like " five times a week " - official day m it may see more phrases that you illustrate. In the personal stories part , please reflect the importance or significance of life and you can mentioned the quantity and quality of love in the home and meet with your surrounding environment . At the same time , you can tell more the people who live in the modern era has neglected and ignored. In the " good news part " , you can mentuined why the COV19 pandemic or health condition affect the job market and you can provide the strong argument it is worth knowing the " good news " and try to defines the words of the good news --> you should mentioned realising the dream of the job and academic-related is a worth meaning for me . The University and dream course is the good news ? Why ?
I too getting addicted to your way of speaking !
That's a good way to practice.
Informative 🙌 .. Thankyou Chris ..🙏🙏
Welcome
Chris , could you demonstrate on how to tell a story using Tense Shifting using present n past and go back n forth to give immediacy effect ?

Hey Chris! If you ever consider making a online practice video with someone in their home country, I could take a shot at it.
Nice to hear :)
Its really a such fascinating and learning video which taught me a lot. 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks Sanamdeep :)
Mine great pleasure sir
Even though she got a lower score in pronounciation
I love the way how she pronounce the words
I understand her pronouncing well although I'm not from her country. As long as the majority could understand her. I don't think why the examiners have to press so much on the pronouncing. Obviously you can't expect everyone to speak in a British accent.
Great job... Sir
Much appreciated Vraj 😃
Wow she's beautiful ❤️
She look like an angel 🥰
Thank you.
Love it 😀 thx
Thank you ☺️
Thanks for the video. Could you please clarify more on the 'given something, something else happened' type of sentences?

I got some words from you,Thanks.
Guys y'all have to know singaporeans' first language is English! There's nothing to be surprised about if they have that level of fluency and vocab, it's their first language after all!
We are not here to 'surprise' people - the aim of the video is to share ideas, questions and to point out where - even native speakers - can hit roadblocks in the test.
*Would you like to choose a latin America, its so exciting for us* 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷. *Teacher Chris*

Hi. I love your videos. I see how much you, guys are trying in order to help ordinary people to see what it's like a real exam.
I would really appreciate it if you can add more part 3 questions. Because, Most of the people preparing for the ielts exam have a problem in that part. Therefore, I'll be looking forward to it.
Hello Otaboyev. We'll consider it.
I love this learning structure
Hi Chris, can you make more videos of Elisha
We'll ask her :)
I am with love elisha she is pretty.
I like watching her, together with Saskia. But comparing with Saskia, she gives more developed answers, and for non-native speakers it sometimes hard to speak as fast as natives, And here she shows the amplitude of the naturality of a speech I've ever seen
we speak English much more than our mother tongue in school so it's basically our first language
she is great
elisha is sooooo cute!
I miss Saskia 😍

Thx for this video
It's my pleasure.
She is using a great language!!
Hi
I want her number
@@billy-cg1qq yeah I know she is using English, I was saying she is using amazing vocabulary.☺️

Cris sir
Please make a video or live stream on how to describe places like cafe, restaurant, museum, hotel, restaurant, house or favourite place where you relax, a old place.l, ancient building.
We already have :)
Your pronunciation and appearance are so amazing, elisha
Thanks Kaxramon - nice to hear your thoughts
@@IELTSDaily don't mention it
So good
Thanks 👍🏼😊
My tutor told me to avoid words like " you know", "uhm", "hmm", "like", "kinda stuff" because these are called "fillers" which may give a negative impression on the interviewer.
But you seem to be advocating to use these. Its pretty confusing. :( . I also want to get 8.5 band in speaking. I am practicing..
IELTS speaking language should be natural and like native speakers. Fillers are ok in moderation.
@@IELTSDaily that’s interesting to know
@Abdulcader hello. sorry for bothering you. who is your tutor? can I contact him?
Chris I must ask: Could this be a difference between the Commonwealth and North American system in terms of their own attitude towards liaison? Cuz I specifically heard Elisha saying steo-o-student there(though in a blink of an eye... I mean ear lol) so what if she actually stressed on “l” so the phonological intake were still-o-student? -Very useful info on language points there BTW.
Omg i love Maddy ❤️
I really hope one day Chris could be the mock examiner )
Maybe one day.
She is pretty 😍
