Her individuality is everything in this test..She isn’t trying to follow something like learned vocabulary etc. She’s answering as best as she can.I think this test is an example to show how being natural is important.
Your feedback is spot on!
I notice that too
She is native speaker. She just came and spoke in her mother tongue.
This is what we would expect from native speaker. I’m truly wondering how easy for her to answer those question. Lols
Generally speaking, every native speaker speaks in this natural way . But it might be inconvenient to expect from second learners as natives. I love native voice.
Don't forget if you like the video and learn something, please give it a 👍🏼😁
👍👍👍 yes I learn a lot from your video ,especially Saskia and Rahul, and even i take screenshot of your video and use some words in daily speaking 😊
Sir thanks for everything...
Nice Jass
Fantastic speaking from Rommy 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This test is very helpful for me because I have prepare myself.
As you stop between the video and tell us about new phrases that candidate used is really a great and helpful thing, no other channel is doing this ,, plz don't stop doing this sir, it made us to understand easily
Hi Gaurav. We won't. 👍
I gave my speaking test yesterday and I managed to gather lot of important tips from IELTS Daily videos. I binge watched all the videos two days prior and happy to say I gained a lot of confidence through it when facing the real exam. Thank you Chris and all the resource personnel in IELTS Daily channel. Will update here when my results are out. Keep up the good work!
Edit: So I got my results today and I scored Overall 8.0 with L8.5, R8.5, S8.0 W6.5
I did not have much time to practice writing and I couldn't manage my time properly in the exam. I suggest everyone to practice time management for writing so you won't miss the crucial elements you should include in the essay. All the best everyone!
hey Chan! Congrats on your score. What do you think you may have missed in Writing? did you get any feedback?
I claim this score for listening and reading and speaking🧎🏻♀️🙏
@@joyalasir Thank you. What I regret is not practicing time management. When you get the bar chart question and the essay question time just flies by just as quick. And I wrote and erased multiple times trying to include every essay technique, but at the end I missed certain key points that I should have included.
So what I suggest is practice timing as much as possible. Do as many as practice questions. If you take paper based test practice writing speed . But I suggest to take a computer based test since I guess that makes life easier.
@@mayinmoonbay Congratulations!!!
@@chansmile226 thanks Chan! Really helps..
What a great speech .
I won't regret spending my half an hour on this super , useful , informative video.
Just wanna see more native speakers like Romy to take speaking exam .
She deserves more than 9 , to be honest.
We'll take note of that
This channel is definitely one major factor in my English learning journey. Thank you for your work.
Wow. So kind. Amazing comment 😁🌟
@@IELTSDaily Thanks!
I really love Maddie, she’s a great examiner. She’s so sweet. I m glad i can see her again. A fan of Maddie.❤️
She really is
I love her confidence so nice and also it's so good to see Maddie
Thanks Akhter. Nice comment
Wow! It seems impossible to achieve... It's awesome! It's not just because of the wide variety of vocabulary she uses and her pronunciation, but also because of how quickly she comes up with ideas to talk about. Bravo for her and for your helpful feedback, Chris!!!! 🤗🤗
Thanks Cristina. Really appreciate your important feedback.
You could do likewise if you were a native speaker…..
Romy did a wonderful job!! she's a very talented individual, i would like to take it opportunity to thank IELTS daily for providing us with this video, I've been watching you guys for while now and i appreciate the hard work and dedication you guy out into these videos, it's very educational 🙌❤
You did a very good job. Thank you so much for your performance, both the exam taker and the commentator.
Thank you, Chris, for making these videos! You give us motivation to learn more and more:)
Hello Guknoza. Thanks 🙏🏼 glad you like the videos and keep up the learning!
Hi 👋☺️
Excellent analysis, very useful for students and teachers alike. Really appreciate it!
The thought that one will never reach such an impressive level of proficiency is a heavy burden to bear. All in all what can we do as non native speakers is try to get as close as possible to that fluency by devoting time to learning and practising. Thank you so much for the video, a really nice job.
Really appreciate what you've done on this channel, eye-opening experience 😍🥰
Thanks
News from a fan :D my results came out pretty good. I expected it to be around 7 to 7.5 overall but it turned out much better. I got 8.0 overall, Reading 9, Listening 9, Speaking 8, and Writing 6.
I had been an English reader for a long time but found IELTS reading to be difficult still. Then I use Chris's strategy and continuously hit 8.5 - 9. The same thing happened with Listening as my weakness was the multiple-choice questions. And Chris's methods work again!
Regarding Speaking, I watched most of the videos from the channel days before the test, which definitely helps a lot!
The Writing score is damn low though I was quite sure I would get 7 at least (I got to write task 1 twice as I misread the question). Do IELTS Daily's videos help me with this? Absolutely. I found the channel to be extremely helpful and free of bull**its, which can be easily found on the Internet.
And one more thing, Im just an average Joe which is not that bright, at all. So I believe hard work play an critical part
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated!
Excellent score. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your story with us.
Overall How much time did you take for preparation??
I just adore how you give feedback with that voice.
Thanks
I have to be honest: watching your videos really helps me improve my English skills. Thank you very much!👍
Wow - what a lovely thing to say. Thanks :)
I like that teachers keep nice smile upon their faces this helps student not feel confused while answering👍👍👍👍
Good feedback. ✌️
This new form of the video uploading where u guys first teaches us and the whole interview at length in the end, is very helpful
Glad that you enjoyed it
Hello! I am happy to announce that my results just came in and I got a band 8 in speaking , thank you so much for all the videos and commentaries that you post they really motivated me to feel confident in my test . These videos are a very great insight into what the actual test feels like .
So happy to hear of your great result. Well done!!
You tube is amazing, excellent content. thanks for posting
Oh good. Yhis is how native speakers face for the IELTS 👍👍👍..thanks IELTS daily for the wonderful episode👍👍👍
Our pleasure. Thanks for watching
i just want to say that watching IELTS daily has helped me so much in practicing my speaking and writing skills. especially for speaking! i had my speaking exam this morning (the other skills will be done tomorrow), and my topic is writing or typing! i remember watching your video the day before the exam and the topic was about pencils and pens, that's quite similar so i have the general idea already! aaand in section 3, i was asked about saving money. although it's a lil bit different than the questions for romy here, i can use some of the vocabulary that i have learnt here! but i probably get only 7-7.5 for my speaking, since at the third section i stuttered and paused several times. really, thank you, IELTS daily!
hopefully, tomorrow's test will go smoothly as well, using the tips and tricks i got from your video. and hopefully, the results are good too!
Wow. Thanks for coming to share your experience. Glad your preparation helped and best wishes for the next part.
How was your test?
I have to admit, no need for tons of big words or some really unnaturally crazy phrases, grammars and so on. Love it.
Exactly!!
Absolutely splendid 👌
Thank you Bagibek 🌟💛
Nice piece of mock speaking test. I have learnt a lot from this. Thanks a lot.
thank you so much, I appreciate your work because it helps us to achieve our aims more quicker
Lovely
I really liked her genuine and clear opinions about the topics. i'm watching this speaking test with her for, i dunno, maybe more than 5 times now. I watched this video a lot before my exam last year. She is definitely the most wonderful candidate. Thank you for the high quality video:) I'm looking forward to watch such speaking practices with candidates like her.
Love this comment. And we're glad you enjoyed Romy. She's amazing 💯💯
Yes I'm going to watch it😁
You’re amazing 🔥I love the way how you give us feedback additionally I’ve learned a lot of things from you👌🏻✅
Thanks Naji ✨
Honesty, it's no wonder she performed well since Australia's most spoken language is English. In addition, I've gained a few insights into advanced English, enabling me to become a performing student. Grateful.
You're most welcome
Really amazing !!! And useful

@@IELTSDaily 🚀
And this is all about going for band 9..👍👍👍
👍
that´s what i was looking for, something very natural not technical, difficult vocab , just normal and fluent speech .. something like this ,that just a native speaker can do.
Super
I admire her speaking
Really great
She really is
I understand it right that she is a native speaker and she gives us learnings.
The idea is nice and good to learn from sophisticated natives. As a notiz, she has been learning English since she was born and that is a huge difference from people who learn English in two or three years without an environment that speaks English. You can learn it but it's quite harder.
Good input.
This is the one of best mock exams with this candidate. Personally, she is the best examiner and I like her way of talking and also the candidate speaks very fluently with no stress. I can concentrate on their English and her pronounciation, and leanred. She is beautiful but not flushy at all, in her talking, she is a humble person and instructive, so that is whay I could concentrate to do hearing. Please make a video with this kind of candidate also after this. Thank you!
Thanks Keiko. Really appreciated.
Really useful! Thank you very much! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹!
Pleasure 🙏
thank youuu this video was really helpful
Most welcome 🙂
Your video's are really very much helpful for us......it gives us a strength... motivation..... thankyou so much...
It's our pleasure Tehniyat
I could realized the native people is really different with the people who try to learn English. They are the another levels… I am really envy you… I want to speak naturally, however it is too difficult… respect u😭
You're doing a great job, stay positive
Indeed great !!
Thanks
I have been learning English for one year. And I think that I will not be able to speak as natural as I plan ))
I found out that there are many similar rules and other moments in languages.
I hope that I'll be able to use different idioms and phrasal verbs in my spoken English...but I gave up from time to time and don't study for a while.
Thanks for your videos.
It's our pleasure Anh.
That's great job ❤️
Thanks
Learning again! 🤍🤍🤍

Its been really great 😊, and if you could update more videos of native speaker so it's gonna be easy for us to learn , thanks for helping us 😊
Thanks Vicky
wow....I'm impressed by her fluency. She is worthy for band 9. Great job 👏
We agree :)
You kidding she is Australian
@@baurko Well, I know where she's from. And it's my opinion. Can't I express it?
Personally, I am totally agree with this video and making another videos like this, especially from native seaker, and her anwers was very simple, like literaly helped me so much, please make this videos more, I think if I watch this videos more to improve my speaking skills in general everyday, I would probably become a confident english speaker👍👍👍
Wow. This speaking is out of the world
Yes. She's great. Just a little correction...

That's phenomenal. Many congratulations 🎊
@@IELTSDaily God bless you 🙏🙏
Wow, congratulations
She is a native already. As a native your advantage is you almost don't need to think about language... I mean to a large extent she had been already above any speaking test...
Hope I can do as well as Romy does in my IELTS test😭😭
thanks
I installed this app today. I'm preparing to my exam by this app. It's very informative and I recommend

Someone's here to compete with Saskia😍. Anyways, these videos are exceptionally useful.
Thanks for the kind words
Where should I go to have those band 8 or 9 collocations and idiomatic terms? Do we have a website for that, so that I could search and memorize?
Memorising language is not a good idea
I'm just waiting for a superior video ❤️
Thanks

Australia is a country with strong English community and we, southeast Asians, most of us are from developing countries and learning resources are limited accessed! Yes, even though these are complains, the facts are real.
Why did she say “would’ve trashed my room”, even though, we use it as a reference to what could’ve happened in the past but didn’t. I’ve had a hard time understanding it and still haven’t worked it out. Could anyone please shed some light on it for me?

I want to talk like this girl 😭😭😭.my heart is broken 💔
I got 5.5 in ielts, i didn’t deliver my all effort. Questions stressed me out. I am preparing for ielts again. 😔😔😔
Hi teacher, if a examiner ask some tricky question regarding goverment and something else then candidate give a negative answers of this questions so they might be do cross question. So that there are more chance to decrease the band score.
