@@ppalmshe did like Rex In the beginning after she smoked him. Sucks that she's technically a grown women at that specific moment but not physically. They have better chemistry. But she's a child. Robot Probably knew she liked him which was why he really designed himself to look like Rex.

In the end, robot is still a robot. He does well for what he's made for, but he can't live as a human because he cannot forgive and forget. He doesn't allow any flaws or weaknesses which humans tend to make. If he's allowed freedom any longer, he'll quickly realize that the only way to fix humanity or any life in the universe is to eradicate them all.
Robot is a Robot because he cares for nobody but himself.

In the show flaxons didn't conquer the center of the city and he sugested to nuke the city when they barely invaded, that was the first sign to don't trust him at all.
Even worst, Cecil let him have a whole artificial moon for himself without hundred of combat drones, if i was in Cecil's place i would take every precausion posible and take every right posible to own or destroy that artificial moon.

To it was a violent hero and no one did too much to keep him on check is a common mistake in Invincible to literaly most of the heroes are villains who got reabilitated or just emploid by Cecil with to punish them or take safety measures like with Suicide Squad where they put a kriptonite bomb in General Zod's head what he tryed to remove it how Superman did in animated movie but he failed and it let a big chunk of his skull open with his brain exposed.
The two artificial moons were necessary to deal with the massive flood that was caused by another villain, destroying them wouldn't be an option.

Loved Robots entire arc, by far my favourite character in the comic
He brought peace and prosperity to the world but his methods were cold and emotionless. Even the heroes were unsure whether taking out Robot was the right thing to do. He genuinely helped the world. Such a fascinating way to present your villain

Robot had absolute power for hundreds of years, it exacerbated his already notable remove from “normal” humanity and caused him to become increasingly paranoid and tyrannical. He instituted a policy of official discrimination against the entire ethno-religious group (the Zaxals) the previous royal family belonged to and hunted their descendants ruthlessly. When Amanda saw the horrific conditions they were subject to she confronted him but he responded really, really badly with a pretty typical power mad tyrant spiel, so she left. For dozens of years they didn’t see each other while Amanda did humanitarian work and protected the Zaxals. But Rex kept getting worse. Eventually she decided to direct action that shit and participated in a coup to remove him from power. He was tried and imprisoned. During this whole process Amanda was getting closer to one of the rebel leaders and eventually had sex with and impregnated her while in monster form. An undisclosed amount of time later Amanda found secret plans by the new rulers to begin their extra-dimensional conquest. She broke out Rex and together they deposed the Zaxals again and reformed the entire political structure of the planet. Then they left, went back to their home dimension, pretending that they had been gone a mere twelve years so as not to freak everyone the fuck out. Oh and before Rex left he secretly ordered the entire Zaxal group exterminated and specifically ordered his men to hunt down and kill Amanda’s son Monax.
But Rex never really got better, and he started wanting to replicate his experiment with beneficent dictatorship again. And to be fair, he did make a whole lot of things better, but only because he was not allowed to go as far as he wanted, and he still had to kill many friends and innocents to do it.
I'm gonna be honest with you I didn't understand it at first why she'd "cheat" but at the end of the day if I had a gf that became a world ending dictator I'd probably dump her too

biggest villain in invincible is invincible. he could have fixed EVERYTHING...but he wanted his wife back. he could have owned up to his crimes..but he let Cecil cover them up, proving to Robot that playing by the "rules" was utterly pointless. He made his species the police force of his galaxy whether the rest of the galaxy wanted it or not.

Narrtation is always on point, i love his arc but i hope this is shortned as going back and forth between the royal family and Robots rebels sounds boring, ultimately im excited for this to be animated
So they keep bringing Donald back from the dead but have no procedure for bringing Cecil back from the dead in case some random psycho (who turned out to be robot) walks in and kills him or is there some kind of plot twist I'm yet to learn?

Always liked Robot, as a good guy and when he turned evil too. Its just never really explained whats the exact reason for him turning evil. Yes he isn't capable of human emotion, but that was the case from the start...
That's the thing. Robot always said that he couldn't feel, he talks in a robotic manner and makes a plan to get with monster girl with fases and logistics, but what is love of not an emotion, monster girl made him feel human but after being betrayed buy her he tald himself he lost his humanity and at this part of the story he says that he is basically an objective machine only taking the most logical step to do what must be done for the grater good, when I read this for the first time I thought it was weird, after all you can't feel and then suddenly not feel anymore, but then, we see that before robot left he ordered the geneside of the royale family who were not a threat and thus from an objective point of view didn't need to die but he decides to kill them, for revenge or so he wouldn't have to think about how one of them did it with the woman he loves, regardless this act from a Rudy that is supposedly completely logical is so desperately human and that's the point of his character, no matter what, we're only human and that's why at the end of the story, now that he is basically just machine who just helps with object truth to help the world, he isn't happy, because even though all he does is improve things now he can't move or act or be with the love of his life because he is only human after all

@@calvintyler9281 not really, this recap oversimplified a lot of things. In the end a lot of characters sided with Robot and agreed that the results of his actions benifited Earth and humanity, even though in the beginning a lot of heroes and villains had to die.

Imo Robot is too emotional which is suppressed by his extremely high IQ. All his misdeeds aren't attributed to "the ends justify the means" but a very BASIC human response. Best example is when monster girl cheated on him , Robot went behind her back and ordered the death of monster girl's child, everyone connected with it, and finally the old surviving world order that was in hiding. In the end Robot was to self absorbed to build anything long lasting, and HATED people going against his genius IQ. He WANTED people to side with him but it was disguised as the smart choice he presented.
