HEY GUYS WELCOME BACK TO THE CHANNEL, TODAYS EPISODE BASICALLY TALKS ABOUT THE CHEVY AVALANCHES FUEL PROBLEMS. I have a similar problem with my 06 avalanche,
I have to turn the key on&off twice for my avalanche to start but it doesn't give me any problems on the road but I'll will start with the preliminary first and work my way up.

So you can hear the fuel pump kick also replace the mass flow sensor last night got a fuel pressure gauge hooked it up it only went to 10 psi I have a couple of videos I'll try to post them
if im not mistaken your fuel pump may be weak.. I dont think thats enough it should be 60 psi.. i cant remember exactly..., i have a video on my channel checking my fuel pressure
I have a 2008 5.3 avalanche and my engine light comes on randomly but doesn't stays on long. I had it checked out and I was told my truck was running lean and that there's an emissions problem. Would you consider having my injection changed? Or could it be an pump issue? I was just recently driving and I tried to reverse and the truck stalled for a minute before going into gear. Please I would really consider your information.

I have a 2002 Chevy avalanche drove it home next morning went out it wouldn't start I have replaced the fuel filter the alternator the battery the fuel pump is fine there's gas in it and now when you go to start it it'll start and run for a minute but sounds like it's starving for gas please help
how do you know the fuel pump is fine?
I have a 02 Avalanche as well… currently have a no spark issue with it. Was taking my son to school, approached a red light and it shut off. I cranked and cranked and it wouldn’t start, no codes from the ECU pull up, no spark from the coils I have no clue what could be the issue! My guess is a ground or something simple. Any suggestions?
check the battery first, battery is always the first thing to check.

Love watching the incredible motivation brotha.. I 05 Chevy Avalanche with flex fuel system on my life CZcams. ( I record and post bout my every day life and struggling since I shattered my leg in my car accident , I still posting bout rebuilding my life , almost 3 years now.) Been killing my self to figure out why my truck won't start. A little long story but in short. My wife accidentally drove through a rain puddle and the truck shut off and I drop the tank to look at the pump and found the previous owner had left the pump and lock ring in line the tabs at a 45/ anlge .. I cleaned the tank, chaged the plugs ( gunk-ish ) , changed the crank, camshaft and the knock seniors.. I power tested the wires of the motor the only things I probed that's not showing power in the throttle body and the AC dryer. Im worrying if the pcm or like the flex fuel system box by the driver door. Sorry so long and crazy.

@@Kingcustomz thanks man be incredible motivation in my life and literally saving my life. Motivation for me to figure out what's wrong with my trucks and trying to get a job soon. 2 years my accident and now I'm starting to get capable of walking around some. Killing me not be able to make and take care of my kids . Also central Florida ( I'm bout 30 minutes north of Tampa. ) I seen you saying Florida. But just figuring out what I need to look and I looked into the under steering out a previous owner removed a remote start system and actually trying research a wire harness wire on the floor board to make sure they use the right wire to tap into . A video fun video I talk about on my channel every chance I get beat the Florida weather and get chance to me recording me test the wire to me dropping the fuel tank and to doing the crankshaft and the camshaft sensors my self , lol just over here trying to fix that grind lol.

@@Kingcustomz I'm in Dade City on the other side of 98 bypass. Be killer to meet up lol . I had a knowledgeable friend round me and we played round with trying to get it started. But still the some things . Link error on my obd and no fire. I checked the spark plug the light tester and fuel at the fuel rail. Throttle body opened and closed good. I been checking the grounds for the link error. Would the temperature gauge not being contacted cause an issue on the 05 ( not being complete circuit . Some how the wire harness broke the clip. And hopefully find one at the junk yard soon. ) thanks for answering back. And really looking forward to seeing your opinions.

the fuel filter should be located on the frame rail near the drivers side door. look under the vehicle
I have a 2013 Avalanche w/137,500 miles. My issue is mpg. In town it’s consistent at 11.5mpg. I always use regular tier 1 fuel. Highway mileage is much better at 19 to 20 mpg I change the plugs about 10,000 miles ago. No check engine and went in and looked past history and no issues noted. I’ve done the no brainer new fuel filter clean the mass airflow sensor but I just can’t seem to get my city mileage up above 11 1/2 mpg. The truck runs good has good power doesn’t throw any codes but looking for thoughts and ideas on how to get that city mpg up. I’m not too excited about pulling the trigger on the parts cannon changing the plugs again the coils the wires and the fuel injectors unless I know they need it. The way the engine runs now it sounds feels and responds like it should, short of the city mpg. I’ve read numerous posts including Manny on the Chevy avalanche club blog of folks getting 15+ in the city. I’ll appreciate any input you might have and very interested in personal experience of what you’ve done to increase your mileage. Thanks in advance look forward to the responses.
When you replaced the plugs, did they smell like fuel?
@@Kingcustomz Unfortunately I did not personally change the plugs, the local Chevrolet dealership did. I had a check engine light which pointed to the O2 sensor. The technician said due to chevys AFM, it often fouls out plugs which makes it seem like a O2 sensor is bad to the computer. He was spot on. Changed plugs and check engine lite extinguished. I then installed a module in the OBD receptacle that prevents engine from going into 4 cyl mode. I never experienced a fuel savings when it did go into 4 cyl mode. Also, with AFM active, the engine would go thru 4qts of oil between oil changes (5000 miles). Almost no oil consumption with AFM disabled.
Good, I think the afm was a complete waste of time. I understand what Chevy was trying to do but I just never liked it
Hello I have a 2004 chevy avalanche I just purchased. I noticed the the mpg drops drastically on the mpg on the display dash. Any info on what's the problem
does it drop when you are flooring the vehicle?
I need some help figuring out what’s wrong with my avalanche, it’s been starting up the last few days and then stalling out, I had a brand new fuel pump put in like 6 months ago it was running fine now it’s stalling out and I put a new #25 mini fuse in about a month ago it has been running this whole time since but now yesterday it is stalling out after starting and won’t stay on, I’m trying to figure out if it’s fuel related or a fuse?
do you have any vacuum leaks? is the vehicle idling high

Hey I have a 05 avalanche I was wanting to ask you to see if you could help me I've replaced the fuel pump the people I got it from didn't put a fuel filter on it like bypassed it I don't know if the fuel filter is located in the fuel pump or not but it shuts off on my at random times I'll drive the truck to work and on my way to work it dies I just replaced the ignition switch maybe you have a better idea on what it could be youre advice will be greatly appreciated
fuel filters are located in the pump. did you check to see if your alternator is charging the battery. or did you check to see if your battery is securely connected.
@@Kingcustomz I just checked to see if it was my alternator it did not hold a charge like it should of like it bounced from 14.59 to 14.00 exactly and when it dropped like that the truck wanted to shut off
ok another way also, is using a multimeter or autozone can actually check to see if the alternator failwd
Just got a 07 avalanche and I'm lost I can't figure out what's up with it at low speed like coming to a stop it will stall the Rpms will jump up then down then up and drop dead it will start back up I changed all my plugs wires coils and sparks p0301 and p0300 is the only codes when it's getting low on gas it constantly will shut off at the light but if on half tank seems not to shut off so much it is idling high Rpms jump up and down misfires truck shakes mirrors shakeing
Check out your injectors. Maybe you have a clog in an injector or maybe the pump is getting weak
I have a 2013 Chevy Avalanche Truck it's driven good but it's will die down and it's ask like it's don't went to Go I cut it's off and wait for aw and I c right back up and went I mash the gas it's want Go I wait for a minute and it's will go tell me what is going on with it

I have a 2008 ltz Chevy avalanche and it won’t start I think I have multiple problems with it. It was leaking gas slowly I think the fuel tank needs replaced. I got it towed to a shop and they said there’s an electric issue as well something to do with the security lock. Starting to be concerned about the cost of all this.😳 when you turn the key all the lights come on but no click or crank. My husband changed the starter and that didn’t fix anything. I love this truck but the more I read about it the more I’m seeing people complain about electrical issues.

King customz that would be greatly appreciated!!! It was running fine and just died outta no where. I got it from a dealer paid 18,000 with intrest and all that for it to run for one year. Got in in feb and by August found out about the gas leak warranty was already up. Definitely got ripped off and never again will I go to a dealership. Luckily I was able to pay it off in a year otherwise I’d still be making payments for a broken car. A month into having it the sway bar broke and had to be replaced. Have also had to replace a rotor on the front right wheel as well as new brakes.I’m trying not to give up on her but I sure don’t wanna keep putting money into it as more issues keep coming up. It ran a drove smooth so when it wouldn’t turn on at all it was a real shock. Any answers or ideas would be amazing.

@@Kingcustomz My dad just gifted me his 07 avalanche which I'm in love with. I wanted to know if you have any fixes for re-sealing the tonneau cover at the seams where they meet? And any info on replacing antenna wire. Thanks for all the great info & videos on the avalanche. Also, I'm in Florida (South Florida) Fort Lauderdale area.
First off, florida rules... and I have an uncle in coral springs... second off my cover leaks as well so I'll make a video on that soon. And no I dont have anything on the antenna wire. But I'll look onto it and get back to you

Hi Guys what cause the following codes? P050,P0155,015D,P2273,P0174,. I inspected all my O2 sensor and could not find any shorts and all of my voltages are good with a test light; I also changed all O2 sensors, coil packs, plugs and wires. I am trying to narrow this issue down. I could use some help on this issue Thanks in Advance.

How to change fuel filter on a Chevy avalanche 2003 1500 Z71
The fuel filter should be located under the drivers rail under the drivers door. My specific truck doesn’t have one
07 avalanche truck will not start! It use to take a 30 seconds to start, than it took two crank up. Now it’s not starting. 210,000 miles on there
check for fuel pressure, it may be a dead fuel pump
