I've watched videos of appearances on Letterman and Carson dating back to the late '80s where she struggles to navigate a step on stage. I'm thinking she was exhibiting MS symptoms as long ago as then.

Always the first person I think of when discussing the most beautiful movie stars.
I remember watching this particular episode of SNL when it originally aired.i even remember the cold open when she played a cheerleader.and another skit on that same show where she played an actress shooting a coffee commercial where she had to do take after take after take and everything went horribly wrong.that skit was funny as hell I never laugh so hard like that at the time.you have to find that skit with Terri and upload it A.S.A.P.

I first saw Teri Garr when she played the Princess on the Faerie Tale Theatre episode, "The Frog Princess" opposite Robin Williams. I have enjoyed every performance I have seen of her's. To me, she was always the personification of what a real woman is, as opposed to an overgrown little girl with an attitude.

Huh? She was born in 1944, so she’s a boomer. And us Gen X kids were very young here in 1983. I was 8 and my brother was 14 (we are Gen X and our parents are boomers who were born in ‘45 and ‘43, sandwiching Teri’s birth year).
P.S. What does peppermint schnapps have anything to do with Gen X??

I absolutely love Teri Garr and could gawk at her all day, but that monologue was painfully not funny. Embarrasing. All she got was sympathy applause. She deserved better from the writers. Maybe it could have been salvaged comedically if, after all that pointless rambling, she pulled out a joint.
