WB NEEDS to STOP messing with the DC movies. This would have been more epic than the MCU. Snyder deserved to finish his vision and we DC fans deserved to experience it. a version of justice league two would've ended with darkseid nearly extinguishing all of humanity... good grief. instead of that sort of risk taking, where the death toll seemingly would've been permanent, it was derailed in order to have Batman man crush upon superman's return. or the two hour mandate.
i think they would reverse it, if New Genesis was involved in the second one, they had Metron's time travel chair as an out. Unless Justice League 3 was planned to be released dead last, you couldn't do other movies after. Snyder's smarter than that, Flashpoint would need a whole different dystopic future to be a possibility. He even put Jeffrey Dean Morgan in their to be Flashpoint Bats.

I'm speaking mostly of snyder's five part series, which according to Jay Oliva, had a beginning and ending in mind. they certainly could've retconned earth being turned to rubble, or not, as snyder's idea seemingly was just focused on his particular telling.

This really goes back to Batman Vs Superman. It's painfully obvious that the studio got way too involved in that film. Watching the uncut version made that film so much better than the butchered theatrical cut, and even though I'm not the biggest Snyder fan, he obviously had a clear version of where he wanted to go. The studio panicked and then absolutely butchered Justice League.

the ultimate was not meddled with as much as you think. Yes the studio wanted to do some world building but they did they meddle to the extent that they told Snyder to kill Superman in the movie or have a zany Lex Luthor portayal or introduce the other heroes via an email attachement? What angers me most is that Infinity War-Endgame is doing the same (but more soy version of it ofc) *in the time period when JL part 2 supposed to happen* . And that MCU killed off Spider-Man, Doc Strange, Panther after just one movie and no one from (critics) complained .
It's why I unironically believe in anti-DCEU conspiracy. They saw this opponent, stole their plans and wanted to get rid off of him.

There is no anti DCEU conspiracy. That "conspiracy" is just a negative perception by critics and fans of the DC movies because they've been a complete mess within a poorly constructed and rushed universe. DC lost the trust and respect of fans and critics which is where this "conspiracy" comes from. It doesn't exist. Wonder Woman proved that point. People WANT to like Batman, Superman, Joker, The Justice League etc. DC failed with it's A list roster of characters and butchered it's own movies for profit which I think pissed people off and even further broke the trust. There is no conspiracy. Let me repeat that: There is no conspiracy. Aquaman would have bombed and been ripped to pieces by critics if this imaginary conspiracy existed. The shazam trailers would have been hated, the mat reeves Batman would be ridiculed, the Joaquin phoenix Joker would have been laughed at. None of that happened. The hatred was just disappointment and frustration in the vision and direction of the DCEU and the incompetence and greed within the studio. Not to mention the constant uncertainty and circus of news around the DCEU. The MCU is a completely different story. They can kill their characters because they've actually earned enough good will and trust over a decade - and it took a Thanos snap with an infinity gauntlet to do it. Wasn't a rushed mess of an idea, and it had been set up for years previously. It was even done in a poignant way that serves the story and builds to the next movie and future events. And only half of the characters were even killed. That'a why they can get away with killing half of the universe - because it's a thouroughly thought out (and collaborated) approach that serves the characters and stories and isn't a cheap fanboy shock tactic like something Snyder would probably do (and i actually like all his films). There's no intentionally mean spirited effort to subvert expectations - and it even follows the source material. DC should learn from marvels patience and execution. Just make crowd pleasing movies and take it one at a time (literal quote from the infinity war writers). Even patty jenkins said DC should be patient. I'm not biased to either universe and actually hate most of the silly colourful MCU humour and tone but WB and Snyder utterly fucked the DCEU. Snyder being the "kevin feige" over there was a terrible decision. There was never a conspiracy.

Yes there is , when so called "critics" shit on BvS then year ago shill for The Last Jedi *for exact same reasons* (i.e. darker representation of previosuly hopeful character, subversion of expectations, bold direction) then sure there is one.
Or the fact there is certain lack of articles criticizing Avengers characters being okay killing people or in general inaccurrasy to source material. (Wonder Woman's reception also "guilty" of that because Batman and Superman killed way more people in canonical comics than she ever did, but then again this movie only got pass becuase of all-female shtick).
Or the fact that in Infinity War most of characters, like Doctor Strange for example, "forgetting" about using certain game changing ability from previous movie, yet it wasn't deemed as plot-hole. Or when Thor in the beginning of the movie suddenly isn't powerful as in Ragnarok, yet Captain America is the one who makes Thanos struggle. Or Civi War (that wasn't rushed so much that became a merely Civil Brawl with all-of-a-sudden Spider-Man introduction) that doesn't serve anything besides being a butt in a Tony Stark's joke "we don't speak to each other" (inb4 flavour of the week Ant-Man 2, we are talking about Infinity Bore here). Defenitely not rushed hot mess and carefully planned out. (Inb4 2 billion, yes that's what you get when "professionals" actively shilling for your shlock, just like when Black Panther beat all Marvel's current A-listers first, second (and in some cases third) solo including fucking Spider-Man, then was effectively forgotten until current awards season)

Aquaman actually *Was* ripped by critics (top critics score is even lower than of MoS). It was success because 1)respected it's director (for most part ofc) just like in all past DCEU films cases that were financial success (i.e. MoS, BvS, SS, WW) 2)WB were smart enough to release movie in countries with most pro-Disney bias the least, which in turn gave it a good word of mouth

Completely agree. I actually think Shazam fits perfectly with this 3 part Justice League. If JL was really going to be this serious then the light heartened Shazam would fit perfectly to balance out the tone and bring verity to the universe. Well yeah thats why they planned flash point after jl3. To change history after they defeat darkseid. Because darkseid is outside of the timeline so after hes defeated he wont be rebooted with the flashpoint. He will still be defeated. While the the whole universe is rebooted by the flash to a different timeline where batman is still young. Ofc before that the flashpoint is still gonna feature the whole flaspoint story where barry saved his mom and everything goes to shit. Then he reboot the universe again without saving his mom and we got our true soft reboot with younger batman. And maybe different lex.

He probably smoked tons of weed while talking to these people. So you can be damn sure he got half of the details wrong. I'm really not sure about the Alfred/Lantern scene... I think he got that wrong. Remember reports/rumors about the teaser scene where Lanterns appear at Bruce's place in a possible after credit scene in a "green light"? I think Kevin might be mixing some things up... but who knows. Maybe there WAS a version, early on, where the Lanterns played a bigger role?
You can also be damn sure that time-travel was heavily involved. Flash will probably change the course of the war with Darkseid in some shape or form.

That's the problem with childish fans of specific stories who can not accept a story which is different from what their imagined fan fiction - they miss great opportunities. The DC fanboys need to grow-up, and start learning to shut-up, and accept what is realy the trinity and the Justice League, and what they stand for. Stop looking for another SJW Marvel (See Captein Marvel), and start loving the DC for what it is - A non appologetic new Mythology, dealing with real Values.

By the way, Nobody forces you to consume such a story, Just like nobody forced you to watch 'Lord of the Rings', or read Wordsworth or an History book, or even try and understand 'Carmen', or 'Clockwork orange'. You can just be content with another superficial Marvel Popcorn Flick ('Infinity War' is no Shakespeare), without any real stakes, and stay within your comfort unaware state, without the need to grow and evolve as a person.

I’m thinking Kevin was confusing the Alfred scene with the original post credit scene which was GL Kilowog and Tomar-Re showing up at Bruce’s Lake house. But then again they could’ve easily edited out the green light and super imposed Superman over GL. Kevin did talk to the crew and what he said does match up closely to what we already know. I wouldn’t rule anything out.

On the positive side, more and more information, tid-bits, story boards etc. has been coming out for a year now. As much as this pisses us all off, It's got the traction it deserves... yes it's a shame and a travesty that we didn't get what we deserved, what we paid for, but I'm confident the #SnyderCut will see the light of day in the near future. A full 3 part or 5 story arc would've been beyond amazing. We've all heard enough over this past year to have a pretty good idea of what Zacks vision entailed. Keep up the good fight, Zack deserves it, we the fans deserve it!

This is why you don't leave these kinds of decisions to suits who only can fathom spreadsheets. That's why Marvel beats them like Thor would beat any Martha (with both of his hammers). Marvel has Feige who is a producer, but who understands the role of producing vs the artistic expression. Producing is the overarching glue - especially important when you're creating "universes" that span multiple movies and has no continuity of writing, directing, etc. Feige was more involved in the specifics of the movies during the first few Marvel movies, but he then took a step back after Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, to give directors more freedom to explore different ways to be successful. Movies almost instantly bumped up to be more diverse and interesting.
Feige may truly be a new definition of the word "movie maker" - something that may not longer just refer loosely to directors/producers/whatevs, but a specific thing.
