    I'm Korean but still enjoy your vids very much. I like that you focus on & explain research behind the formula and efficacy of products. So much more helpful than beauty gurus who blindly recommend numerous products bc "it worked well for MY skin" and then uploads a sponsored video a few days later. Also you're very accurate and knowledgeable about actual trends here in Korea!

      Thank you, I really appreciate your words 🙏 I myself bought too many pointless products when I was young and clueless just because an influencer I followed recommended those products, so what I'm trying to do with my channel is let my viewers know what a product is supposed to do, how it works and how it performs so everyone can decide by themselves if it fits their current needs, instead of recommending a product just because I like it, so I'm glad to hear this aspect comes across. And I agree that youtube became the playground for a lot of dishonest market practices...

      Because they’re “original Korean brands” not westernized kbeauty… nothing wrong with the latter but to me they’re mostly for younger skins / very basic hydration needs.

    It’s always mission impossible for me to find a moisturizer that doesnt clogged my pores(dehydrated combination skin). Been using Isa Knox cream and it’s godsend since my main concerns are pigmentation and aging skin.

      Agreed! It's very rare to find an anti-aging cream with that consistency, I was in the market for a mask-proof anti-aging cream that was rich enough without being sticky and the Mela Care For All Cream was an amazing discovery.
      If it helps you can find the full ingredient list in English on Glowpick (just click on the text next to the icon with the 2 droplets)

    Living in Japan I have tried a few "untact beauty" products. The most popular here for years is the IPSA Time Reset Day Essence Stick. I love the way the product is cooling and hydrating BUT you really can't put it over makeup without touching up afterwards because it smudges your foundation/powder. The sunscreen cushions are just not even possible if you have full makeup on.

    Thank you for another fun and informative video, Odile! 😁 Now I have another product to put on my wishlist! I'm currently using the Yunjac - Whole Plant Effect Concentrate which you have previosly recommended, but as you mentioned before you can only buy it from a few places and with tax and shipping it becomes so expensive D'': Maybe O Hui Prime Advancer Ampoule Serum could be an alternative for me.
    I have recently seen more and more "scalp products" on the market, with focus on treating the scalp as an extention of the skin on your face and was wondering your opinion on the matter. I have an oily, but sensitive scalp (according to the internet I don't exist :') ) and have trouble finding products that work for my scalp and hair. I bought SCALP DX Shampoo from DR.CEURACLE, the only available korean brand with haircare products in my country at the time, that has left my scalp so itchy and irritated. I'm ready to order from overseas as long as it works! 🤣

      The Whole Plant Concentrate is exactly one of the other 2 barrier serums I usually recommend besides the Prime Advancer Ampoule 🤣 I'm not sure if you noticed but the brand recently became available on Stylekorean, I was quite surprised when I saw their prices because they're even cheaper than the original Korean retail prices. Not sure if they're just having a temporary discount but it's worth checking out!
      And I know the struggle about scalp products, I have sensitive and flaky scalp as well and struggled to find a decent Korean treatment. I find that Dr.forhair makes a great scalp scaler for intensive weekly treatments, while for daily use I usually rotate between Ryo's Hair Loss Care Shampoo (it's called like that but it has Salycic Acid in it which helps with daily scalp care) and Dr.Groot's Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.

For now I planning to order some products to combat redness and irritation that you recommended in one of you post last year, like Aestura - A-Cica Stress Relief Cream Essence (I saw in your latest post that they have a new version, but I can't seem to find that anywhere) and Dr.G - R.E.D Blemish Cica Soothing Cream or potentially Centellian24 - Madeca Cream Power Boosting Formula. I have combination and dehydrated skin that is constantly red and easily gets irritated and very warm.
      Do you think these products could help?

    Hi Odile! Nice video! I just want to share some thoughts in regards to your videos. I understand that you're on the marketing department for Korean beauty, although I notice that it is hard for you to give a bad comment for a product. It seems like all products have to have praises sang to them without any exceptions. The terms 'for all skin types" are kind of misleading information because not everyone will like the feel of the products the same. This being said, you make me want to purchase all of those products mentioned 😩

    Hi Odile! Nice video. Can i buy those products from eBay?

      @OdileMonodTheMonodist  Před rokem

      Yes but you should check that the reputation of the individual sellers. For products made by LG (the O Hui serum or Isa Knox cream in this video), products should always have a QR code on the box that allows to check the authenticity of the product!

      How will I buy isa knox cream from usa? Nature collection online i try but I can’t order. Can you please tell me where i can buy this product from USA

      @OdileMonodTheMonodist  Před rokem

      Nature Collection only ships to Korea (I indicate the Korean links with the Korean flag and the international links with the World emoj).
      You can either use shopping service from Korea like Koreanbuddies or Shopandbox (in that case, just copy and paste the link to the product on the Nature Collection website) or you could get it from beautyboxkorea. I know one of my followers frequently shops with them and the products seem to be authentic. I never used it so I'm not sure how much they charge for shipping though!

      Same thing, you need to check the reputation of each individual seller. They don't have an official Amazon store.

    lol why is tik tok so 2000 and late??? I’ve noticed a lot of this. Old trends and products coming back to life on tik tok.

      I can't get over the fact that people on there genuinely think the COSRX's Snail Mucin Essence is some sort of secret treasure no one has ever heard of 🤡

      It is ❤ It also smells like lemon tarts which I thought was a very creative touch but I was worried I would have sounded too extra if I brought it up in the video 🤣

      @@OdileMonodTheMonodist lmao . Honestly tho, patisserie associated fragrances are so much better than those cheap perfumy smells that some western luxury brands use .
