He was a great singer! I rate him higher than Ricky Nelson and many others who had more success. Another actor from that era who was a surprisingly good singer was Mike Minor of Petticoat Junction. Mike's father was Don Fedderson, the producer of My Three Sons. Check him out if you get a chance.
