What a beautiful city! I loved the huge conservatory! The bus ferry seems fun...I think.😂 Those screams! I would probably scream, too. The hotel seemed very nice. Wasn't it sweet that they put a picture of Pumpkin and Mittens up for you! Have a great weekend😊

Gothenburg looks beautiful , i love the window displays and the water bus looks a lot of fun . What a bargain price for two days , I can't wait to see what you've brought home.

The place you called the botanical garden is actually Trädgårdsföreningen, there is a botanical garden more out west next to slottskogen.
About the ferry, there are two ferrys going. One is free (Älvsnabbare) that goes shuttle between Lindholmen and stenpiren, the other goes from röda sten to lilla bommen (and all stops inbetween). The ticket is the same you use on trams and buses in the city.

The dog that boarded the ferry on the first day was a English setter such beautiful dogs we had one it was a lighter colour black. Our family have one when I was in my twenties.

Oh! You´ve been here on our west coast. You know this is Swedens frontside ; ) .
Waterfront and that whole area is cozy and the ferry is a fun thing. Chalmers is Swedens top tech university and you have the museum of natural history in the area. The famous fish restaurant Sjömagasinet is also very near.
Haga is a sweet place to just strole or to have looong swedish "fika" /coffee breaks. That shop RUM is cute, Rum = Room in swedish. You should really come back to Gothenburg and Haga in the summer. They have a huuuuuge fleamarket all around Haga with tables and tiny shops set up in the streets every year, you would love that.
About shops not taking cash, most places in Sweden do tho most swedish ppl use cards.

I must admit that when you stated the price for two nights with all those amenities my jaw literally dropped! In the States, the room alone would be $300 per night. Beautiful city, thank you so much for a taste of your adventure.
My husband and I live in Ireland, we are going away for a weekend to a beautiful manor house and it is costing us over €1000.00 euro. No spa but dinner bed and breakfast.
What was the hotel called? I missed that bit.

Loved the video. I’ve been to Stockholm and loved it! Whilst shopping for Christmas gifts, I noticed that it was getting dark and it was only 2pm. Outside every shop was a candle burning and it was snowing! Magical 😍Everyone was so friendly and the boats were used like we have buses, always spot on time like you said 😊👋🏻🇬🇧x

The choices for breakfast were so nice, something for everyone.
Shops lovely and the taxi bus must have been fun. Nice way to get a view all around.
Hotel and amenities were reasonable for everything. Here I. The states would be so much more.

My daughter was there back in September, she loved it. Her and her partner enjoyed the river bus and the theme park.
We call them "duck boats" in the States. A fun ride.

Thoroughly enjoyed that! it looks lovely. I have a Swedish friend in Gothenburg so must make the effort to go. That was a bargain trip in such a nice hotel. Love a spa too. The shops and cafes look great. Safe journey home.

If you ever find a good deal for Copenhagen, I would be happy to give you tips and tricks on the best coffee, the best thrift shops and the must see tourist attractions which to many’s surprice doesn’t include the little mermaid 😉

Super video, I know nothing about Gothenburg so it was very interesting. Some of those wreaths looked very different and a bit unusual. Breakfast looked great, I would stock up on that for the day to get me through to an evening meal. Lovely break. That hot tub looked great with the views over the city.
