💥 I hope you enjoyed this video! Here are my top 5 worst duty stations in the U.S ARMY! If you go to one of these duty stations i'm sorry in advance lol. But in all reality the duty stations that you go too in the army or in the military in general are what you make of it. As well as personal preference, depending on how you grew up you might actually like some of these duty stations in the army. However, if you had to choose a duty station I wouldn't chose any of these.
💥 Make sure to comment on any questions you might have or any new video ideas you would like to see next! I will do my best to reach back out to you as soon as possible!

Fort hood just seems like a place where you go to die if your in the military
Literally
Keep up the content bro. Enjoy your channel, just subbed
Thanks Nate 🙏🏽
I was at Polk from 98-2001. Wasn't OPFOR, but in the field a couple times a year. "Sleesville" haha!
I did my BCT and Infantry AIT at Fort Puke back in 1971. Remember Sleezeville or Leesville.
Stationed at ft.polkt 87 , to 90 , ft. Irwin was a vacation compared to louisiana, roughest place that I loved, got married and settled in oklahoma, civilian life was so easy,a lot of young americans should consider a hitch in the military.you will move your life forward
87-90? Remember Night heat, one eyed Jack's, triple 7 and reflections?
Can't say I've ever been to Ft. Polk, but I have a couple trips to NTC. I would crank up Fort Irwin as the worst, because if you are stationed there you become OP4 and are basically in the field all the time. That's just my take on it.
Was at Drum from Nov. 2K18 - June 2K22. Weather is very rough. Summer is absolutely amazing for like the 3 months out of the year then straight to fall and winter. The outside PT during winter is miserable and daily duties like MP Mondays, layouts, etc. is trash. I got Reynaud's (cold weather condition from injuries and too much cold) and I was on a "Deadman's cold weather profile" for the last 2 years there so it was't as bad for me at least. Ngl there is a decent amount to do in surrounding areas to include Thousand Islands, Sackets Harbor, Syracuse and as mentioned Canada. Watertown and Evans Mills is very mid but I somewhat miss it. Just make the most of it and it can be fun. If you do go there enjoy being called in on snow days where the rest of post has off due to road conditions and take part in "SRT" and no not Special Response Team, Im talking "Snow Removal Team" 12 hour shift plowing and shoveling unit AO's. P.S. avoid "Watertown whales" and don't even try to "earn" your MTN patch by encountering these Watertown Whales... IFKYK
Looks like you were in El Paso, Texas in this video?? What were your thoughts on that base there?
I was stationed at Fort Irwin after A.I.T. at Fort Huachuca, so I was already used to a desert environment. I was just hoping for NOT Fort Drum, since I prefer the heat. The National Training Center wasn’t as bad as people think. The fact that it’s a small base means there only like six places you need to drive to. Anywhere else you can walk. This was good for me, since the first couple of months, I didn’t have my truck shipped out there yet. Going out into the box (short for the sandbox, nickname for the surrounding Mohave Desert) ten days at a time, ten times a year, meant more days off. The Sunday or Monday we get back, we have that Friday off; then, the next week, we have that Thursday and Friday off. Unfortunately, that means we have less chance of getting a good day for C.Q. or Staff Duty. I got a chance to work with intel marines. I saw British and Australian soldiers. Yes, Barstow, the closest town was 45 minutes away and it wasn’t even much of a town, but that’s the same distance from my parents’ house to my grandparents’ house, so I was used to that kind of trip. Plus, the base was three hours away from both Las Vegas and Los Angeles, so that has to count for something. I’d say for me, the biggest hassle was to drive 45 minutes to the closest McDonalds in March for the shamrock shake.
I recently just sign a new contract to reenlist in the army in my old MOS. I was given a choice of duty station between Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. I choose Fort Campbell as I have not heard good things about Fort Hood, including from this video.
What’s your mos

all the way in the mountains lol
Ft. Drum is awesome. Your always training. Well it was like that when I was there.
Been at fort sill since January, been one hell of an experience for me. Next stop fort hood 😂
so you dont like 5 cos its cold.
dont like 4 cos its hot.
dont like 3 cos theres lots of training.
dont like 2 cos it lives up to its name.
don't like 1 cos its too quiet off camp.
lol
🤣🤣🤣
Fort wainwright Alaska, Fort Knox and South Korea, worst places to for pcs of even tdy.
Where were you stationed?
@@Oimgio camp Casey South Korea is the worst. I’d prefer Iraq or Afghanistan to that duty station. I started as a E1 my first duty station was s.Korea. I eventually got ocs and now O3 so all is good.
South Korea suck but had great NCO’s
Every Army post i have been to the town or cities near by are nasty or crime ridden
In keeping with ALL military bases!
I left Cali last year in June nothing the army but gas was literally 7 dollars a gallon
That’s insane
Alot of people say fort drum is bad cause the weather but it really ain't bad it's a really good base!
Crime here in Fort Hood is dreadful even living on post it's no escape. No activities to do for the families, not even a descent playground for kids. Summer means staying inside the house 24/7 from the scorching heat. It's a nightmare to be here!!Can't wait to leave!!
I hated basic in ft Polk Lewisville. Is diseaseville.
Hood is not even that bad lol. Not like things don't happen at any other bases, just got way more attention there.
I live in Lawton/ft sill.. we are in the Midwest, sooooo yes, it’s windy and hot… they must not know the OKLAHOMA song.. haha! We get 5 seasons. It’s not that bad here.. climate change has worsen our seasons over the years. The plus 100 temps have only been the last two years… the cold months are short lived. They shut down the town with black ice on the road, lol..this has only happened the past 3 yrs.. and the shut down is for a day or two.. mostly ft sill is who shuts down.. march/April is our spring/tornado season.. lots of rain and beautiful skies, as you watch the storms roll in❤️❤️❤️ most amazing views here in Lawton/ft sill area. Is it boring, yes! But, traveling is easy. We are smack dead in the middle of U.S. I can go to Colorado in 9 hrs. To the beach in 10… it’s not ALLLL bad. ❤️
South Korea, camp Casey I’d dreadful, how did it not get in this list
I think Ft. Bragg/Liberty is among the worst. That whole airborne crap is unnerving. They say going airborne is voluntary, but nothing was said about the heavy peer pressure to go airborne. Btw, I’m a proud leg.
Ft Bragg was a nice place, the western side of the area is nice, the eastern side, Fayetteville etc is your typical military town shyster joint crap. If you are not Airborne, you will not fit in.
Bragg was one of the best duty station. You were just a dirty leg unmotivated Soldier!!
@@DanielSanchez-bj8hf thanks for the confirmation of my initial statement.
HA!! We thought we had it bad in cali.. $4 a gallon for some gas... id go back to $4 ANYDAY
Look's like your at fort Bliss hate that post fort Polk fort Hood we've done that too and fort Irwin
FT POLK,LA WAS CALLED BABY VIETNAM WHEN I WAS STATION THERE IN 1980 AND I HATED IT IT SHOULD BE #1 WORST PLACE
Ft Greeley An.
Wrong answer, you go where the Army sends you and you'll like it! 😂😂😂
So did he serve at any of the bases he bashed?
I'm thinking the same 😂
I guessed the top 3 correctly
Nice 🔥
Leonard wood is literally the worst.
Ft. Irwin would be the worst!
I had the amazing luck to be at both Sill and Polk.....Both were absolute assholes of the Army......then when I joined the National guard I spent most of my time at A.P.Hilll which is a complete shitbox!!!!!
look guys, this guy looks like a fort couch sitter, sounds like hes just repeating what everyone else says on yt...
You are so wrong about Drum. Snow scare you? Were you ever stationed there? Stop scaring young troops. NO CRIME! Can not beat that.
look at that chin....out of regs bud...
You take an oath to serve your country when you enlist....different duty stations, deployments, etc., are part of serving...it's not all about your leisure time or being entertained
Facts
You’re probably the NCO that makes your soldiers lives impossible.
As a matter of fact I was an NCO....and NCOs have to endure less than desirable duty stations just like everyone else
Shutup square , you’re that NCO no one likes
Lighten up Francis! Its just a CZcams video!
Shiii I’m going to fort drum😭
Good luck lol
Good luck.😂 I am getting out. 😎
I didn't even watch this and I know the worst is Polk
Fort bliss is pretty bad too
Yeah, that’s where I was last at. I didn’t mind the location but the unit wasn’t that good
@@Oimgio The unit is terrible and I now want nothing to do with the Army
@@madspartan4369 damn they got you feeling like that? What happened?
@@LubedLightsaber My day starts at 0450 and I don't get off until 17 or 1730 they always try to call us in on the weekend and they constantly take away our 4 days and they always say "suck it up you're in the Army" When do I get time to myself!?
@@LubedLightsaber More to it but that's just the long story short version of it
I Hurd FSH was good
You ever been to white sands ? Lmao
Yeah
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO >> I SURVIVED FORT HOOD > TEXAS >> 75 - 76 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HHOOAAHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
