I'm glad you liked Alaska! I was stationed at Fort Richardson from 1985 to 1988, working at the Transportation Motor Pool. My MOS was 64C (later changed to 88M). Nearly my entire class went to Ft Hood, with a few being assigned to Germany. I loved my time in Alaska and hope to go back and visit someday. Best of luck to you both in your Army careers!

Is 89B a good MOS? I don't know where my duty station will be yet but I'm anxious to know and nervous at the same time because sometimes it is difficult for me to communicate in English because I am not completely bilingual, my main language is Spanish plus I have 2 childrens and I want them to be comfortable and safe wherever they send me 😌 I graduate from AIT in 6 weeks.
You’ll be surprised how diverse the army is. You’ll meet some good people that went thru the same adversity. Your English is pretty good since you wrote this. Finish out strong, get that cert!

You can get from Tacoma Washington to Los Angeles in 24 hours in a car but you will be dead tired when you get there!
