This is a very high quality, yet tiny, barcode scanner. It's not tiny on features, this scanner is fully programmable via, yes, you guessed it, barcodes, that are printed in the manual. You can add a prefix or suffix to anything scanned, selecting any characters you need. Carriage Return (CR), Line Feed (LF), and TAB functions are also available. The scanner's beep can be turned on or off and can be set to low, medium, or high volume.
The scanner itself uses a real, spinning mirror design to produce its red line. This is a 1D barcode scanner, it scans traditional line barcodes, and will not scan QR codes. The scanner can connect as a standard human interface via USB (emulating a keyboard), or can be connected via Bluetooth wirelessly. The scanner also has a storage mode where it can scan while "offline", saving each scan, to be uploaded to a system later via USB or Bluetooth. Super handy for out in the field.
The scanner has a button on it for scanning, but also includes a retractable lanyard for intermittent scanning. A neck strap is also included for it. What's more, they also include a "glove" device that straps the scanner to the back of your hand. Included with the glove is a finger trigger that straps on your index finger, and the button is operated by your thumb. A fantastic idea for frequent scanning or inventory control.
The entire scanner is rechargeable and can last up to 2 weeks through normal usage (about 7.5 hours in total scanning). This scanner is small in size but not in quality, and has all the features of the big boys out there.

As many times as you explained how it won't work, I would bet money people would ignore it and just coming that "OMG MY QR CODE DOESNT WORK WITH THIS BAWWWW".
