Consecutive Interpreting Practice (EN to EN): Fear of Needles - How NOT to Respond

This consecutive interpreting practice script is about a woman named Angela who has a phobia of needles and is getting her blood drawn. In this script, the person drawing her blood, Mara, isn't very understanding of Angela's situation, and this only increases Angela's anxiety.

I decided to write this script and create this video, not only for consecutive interpreting practice, but also as a sort of social story to illustrate to healthcare workers how a little bit of compassion can go a long way!
