    Regardless of suction power, I can say that the extremely attractive feature for the rainbow, is that you're not going to blow dust back into your home. All other vacuums I've used do this after a while - not to mention, when you go to dump them or change the bag, you get dust all over. It's very irritating after just cleaning things up.
    The Rainbow avoid this - and that's what really sold it for me. I love the 'change the water' as a filter system. Very cool and very effective.

    I've had my rainbow for 17 years and it works today like the first day I bought it. That's why I love my Rainbow 🌈

    95% of my Rainbow trades are 20 years old and older and running just great. After being serviced properly they are ready for another 20 years of trouble free life. In fact, I have had rainbows, the D2 and D3 that are 25 - 45 years old and would outperform THE cheap ORTHO.In all my 33 years of financing Rainbows, I only had 2 that came back because the people couldn't afford it, so, I bought them from the finance company, service them ad put a 3 year warranty on them and made someon else happy.

  • @Blackheartvacs
    @Blackheartvacs Před 11 lety

    The rainbow does have that after filter though. I just recieved a used rainbow E-2 black where the post motor filter was covered in this rust color substance it reduced it's airflow to about 1/3 of what it should be moving.

  • @sharim9668
    @sharim9668 Před 11 lety

    Haha! Hate to say it but the Rotho is running with most likely a clean filter. Vacuum with it a few times = airflow loss = suction loss. He is right when he says the Rainbow has one level of suction because it does and it also offers the same amount of suction from the time of your purchase and with every use there after. No filter on the front end = no airflow loss+great suction! The motor is brushless and can handle running 24/7 365 days for years and is a certified air purifier! Quality!

    2.5 on the rainbow with the meter held level my Kirby G6 pulls a 6.5 at the hose end The rainbow's filter is removed right now so restriction is minimal the Kirby does have dirt in it's bag.

  • @countryvet

    I would surmise the ORTHO, on it's full speed setting would pull very little more than the Pro aqua. Now I am stuck with a proaqua but at least I found out the truth.

  • @MrBaden77
    @MrBaden77 Před 12 lety

    Well, it's clear you are fudging just a bit. I clearly saw you tilt the hose handle upwards allowing gravity to pull on the meter, pushing it to 6.5. The Rainbow was closer to 4 than the 3.5 you stated, and you kept it sideways, which you didn't do with the Rotho. Sideways the Rotho was at 6. It does appear the Rotho has somewhat more airflow, but I'd have to see it myself. It should be no surprise why either. The size of the Rotho's hose is considerably larger, allowing more airflow.

  • @countryvet

    When will we see up-right water filtration technology and if it finally exist, is there a link? When they introduce an up-right vacuum with water filtration system, they should sell like mad! Surprised all of the manufacturers of canister, pull along water filtration vacuums have not introduced such a system as an up-right! Rexair for one would probably have numerous customers ready to trade, as well as other manufacturers that make water filtration pull along vacuum systems! Again, if one is out, please do share! Thanks, agw.:-)

    Don't fret dear, No one that sells something different will ever risk losing credibility by telling you the truth. That, obviously would ne insane. Rest assured that The RAINBOW will beat out the competition every time, especially on long term cleaning. I have sold every type and have tested, side by side, every TYPE of vacuum system and the rainbow outperfortms them all. ThIS IS SO EASY TO PROVE, however, you must see it with your own eyes. The rainbow outperforms them all. WISH I couldshowyou.

    Umm, no... Do you have eyes?? The Rotho pulled 3 at first while the Rainbow was nearly to 4. On high, the Rotho moved to 6 and 6.5 when he tilted the handle, which I believe had an impact. Anyhoo, 6-6.5 is NOT double 4. Sorry.

  • @surfpanther
    @surfpanther Před 11 lety

    that means absolutely nothing, it's a combination of the beater bars and the entire brush system. nothing filters dust better than water, so you do not need as much power. the rainbow is also very energy efficient. airflow does not mean a thing though, turn off your brushes and butter bars and pretty much all you have is a shop vac, so with that being said it's quite obvious that there is more than just suction an air flow. power means very little

  • @gaylover211
    @gaylover211 Před 11 lety

    Um excuse me! if people weren't making the payments for the machine, the distuributor would retrieve the machine, not the bank! and because the rotho has the water bath, it would smell horrible just as the Rainbow would, and you can also wash the rainbow basin in the dish washer too! If your rainbow doesn't last more than 30 years, you're not taking care of it. I'm guessing your car only lasted for a couple of years too!

  • @countryvet
    @countryvet Před 11 lety

    Crap, Buy youself a vacuum guage and test the new rainbow. It draws 75-80 lbs. Now do this with the kirby and you'll find it barely reaches 40 lbs. I have done this many times. The kirby doesn't and can't clean as good as the rainbow . Also, the kirby is clumsy and hard to use and polltes the air, even with the so called HEPa BAGS. The RAINBOW is far and away the most advantageous cleaning system and longest lasting machine ever invented. I have sold them all. Even the old ones outperform new.

    Hmmm? About 5 years ago I did a rainbow demonstration for a Wells Fargo employee who financed rainbows in Utah, he explained to me how 20% of them had not been paid for and that the bank had a room full of Rainbows that stunk so bad he wanted to vomit, If you forget to dump the water in a Rotho you can put in in the dishwasher and get rid of the smell. 95% of Rainbows dont last over 5 years. I sold them over a 20 year period. I got tired of being a liar. Maybe you don't mind lying. Whatever.

    Is this a repeat of the line you told the during your demo or did you get suckered into paying 3k for a rainbow and you need to feel good about? If you actually care about what your saying do a patent search on rainbow and you will find out that they quite specifically say that wet dust can fly and thats why they needed that hepa filter. I keep offering a live Rainbow person to stand their machine next to mine and out come the chicken wings. Please make useless unsubstantiated reply now! Thanks!

    Either way you say it the Rainbow filters better and cleaner next to your Rotho. There is nothing I can find anywhere about saying wet dust can fly. Not sure how you did your demo's but if you came to my house and told me wet dust could fly, I probably would have laughed at you and not even thought of buying. You sound like someone mad at the company that just couldn't make it. BTW I have sold to people that trade in there 10-20 year old rainbows for the newer one...and yes they still work.

    rotho left the country 2 years ago. this video just exists to annoy Rainbow salesman which is a great 1000$ vacuum and a complete and total ripoff at 2500$

  • @Inspiredbyclean
    @Inspiredbyclean  Před 11 lety

    That's because the people with crapped out rainbows wont let you back in their house. Read the patent filed by rainbow at the US patent office which explains that a hepa filter exists specifically cause wet dust can fly. I can assure that I am making less money doing this than you are with rainbow. Okay, that's a lie.
    If your parents had taught you that Jack and the Beanstalk was part of the bible you would believe that too. Fireman don't wear water filled masks into burning buildings smarty.

  • @Inspiredbyclean
    @Inspiredbyclean  Před 11 lety

    Yeah I get it. Those German manufacturers, like Mercedes and Porsche and BMW and Audi. Wow, I think I'll take the Cadillac where most of the parts are made in Mexico.
    European vacuums last way longer than chinese vacuums like Hoover. I just don't get why Rainbow people think Rainbows last long. They do for people who go to the trouble but most people don't and rainbows rot and stink for them so do hyla and pro aqua. Separator technology is dead. Upright aquafilters are coming for $500. Reality!

    • @rileyfair4980
      @rileyfair4980 Před 6 lety

      Inspiredbyclean. Did you know that the rainbow is made in america ? You have no comparison its not mexico. Also thw rainbow has so many more options and uses then your rotho. The carpet cleaning attachment to the rotho isnt even motorized because yes I want to scrub the carpet like I'm in the 80s no thanks ill stick with my rainbow carpet cleaner. Also can the rotho clean the air and scent it. 24/7 365? On a low speed that barley makes any noise and humidfies the air ? No please you guys have no argument plus rotho left the country years ago. Good luck with warranty claims ill stick with the vacuum that has over 70 years experince and testing behind it.

  • @Inspiredbyclean
    @Inspiredbyclean  Před 11 lety

    The fundamental problem with the rainbow is the separator. It forces the motor to sit over the water. It also makes it impossible to add a pump for shampooing so you have to have a separate unit for shampooing. Most people go back to their old vacuum because of the time involved in setting up the rainbow. Rotho has a bag system also for quick cleanings which filters the air better than water filtration (think fireman's gas mask). I got tired of misleading people. I quit rainbow. All the best!

  • @MrBaden77
    @MrBaden77 Před 12 lety

    No, you are still lying . You said 95% of Rainbows don't last 5 years. If that's true, and it isn't, it's because people won't take care of them. People today are much lazier than they used to be. Analytical thinking skills have declined so people want everything done for them so they don't have to watch. I've seen 30 year old Rainbows working normally and didn't stink. You don't lie to a consumer when selling a Rainbow, it's up to them to decide if they wan't to care for it or not.
