SHAWN, PLEEEAAAZZE!. IT isn't the same certification. The HEPA was simply added to catch the NON WETTABLE particles that may escape the water because the are just that: "NON-WETTABLE". and yet most of those are caught in the water as well. Also, the Hepa will catch some of the dirty water droplets that would otherwise fall to the floor, because of excessive misuse while pulling the rainbow around. ONCE YOUR CARPET IS CLEAN YOU DON'T NEED THE HEPA. I TOOK MINE RIGHT OUT AS MY CARPET IS CLEAN!!!

I personally found the Rotho's filters to clog frequently and it only has a 1 quart reservoir. Rotho is good for a house that is already clean. You have to empty the reservoir frequently. Rotho is a relatively new vacuum opposed to Rainbow that has been around since 1936. They must be doing something right enough for Rotho to try to copy the use of water. Everybody has their own opinions, you can't change them by your immature tactics. If you like the Rotho then use it. You don't have to spend your whole young life obsessed and trying to convince people that it's a good vacuum cleaner. Instead of making videos, get outside meet people(without talking about vacuum cleaners) enjoy life and find a new hobby. You are a rainbow rep or an ex rep who would know that if you had ever touched one of these vacuums. Water cleans better because it doesn't lose cleaning ability. Rotho has the same certification from the British Allergy Foundation and about 10 more awards. Rainbow is assembled in the US. Get your facts straight. You are lying to people to sell a vacuum. I don't do that.
Both are a lot of hype for a vacuum cleaner, we have had 2 rainbows, and I was NOT impressed by either, they just feel way to cheap for the money they ask for. I regret letting my wife spend the money on it. When it is my turn to vacuum I always default to my old Kirby that has way more power and is completely rebuild-able. The theory behind the water filtration on the rainbow is sound, but the cheap plastic execution on the utterly solid state feeling of the unit just doesn't cut it for me. I dont know about the rotho but if they make either one from stainless steel or aluminum and make it so you dont need to use a dealer for internal hepa filter changes I may change my mind, but until then I am tired of being taken for my money by companies like this.

The rainbow is a much better vacuum cleaner my grandmother has had hers sense 1984 an hasn't had to do any work to it.
