So if you flip the coin with your side up, you have a bigger chance to win.
As a kings fan: Although Talbot's play has definitely come back down to earth recently, he is not the reason for the kings struggles. Their offense has completely fallen off a cliff, they seem like they can't score for the life of them, and they also can't hang on to a lead. Their PK and defense overall has still been really good for the most part, they just cannot score at all
The lightning jersey is for the gasparilla parade that happens every year in downtown Tampa. The lightning have been doing a special jersey for it, few years now.

I get them not liking the trailer but complaining about the jersey without the context of gasparilla feels embarrassing for them. Usually a big bardown supporter but if they would have watched the video they complained about they would gain some insight into where it comes from... that being said i ordered one the minute they dropped 🏴☠️⚡️
I think one reason it’s getting talked about more is that it’s actually available for fan purchase this year.
I fucking love the idea of Zegras playing for Torts. He would get absolutely tortured, not to mention he’d be constantly blasted by torts in post game pressers.

No... he has been super solid defensively this year actually.
He gets a bad rap for some flashiness and yes his defense was definitely suspect that last few years, but he’s shown this year that he’s coachable and willing to put work in. His defense has in fact improved a lot and no reason why he wouldn’t do well under Torts
Canucks fan here, I don’t like any of those trade proposals. Maybe that Guentzel one if fine, but the Canucks would have to give up more than that. Also don’t want to lose Podkolzin.

I will agree with you Jesse about the wild (as a Wild fan). They have pieces for the future but this is gonna be an interesting time these next few months now that Spurgeon is out the rest of the year. The biggest issue is a lack of centers. As much as it pains me the only players I could see being moved are Fluery, Golagoski, and potentially Erickson Ek in that order. The other issue that’s making it hard for Guerin is the Parise and Suter buyouts.
That Bundesadler behind Corwin is so random, but it made me so happy as well! A piece of home all the way across the pond.

The Kings issue rn is scoring. Defence and goaltending has been fine apart from 3 games this last 11 games. The main problem is Todd McLellan failing to utilize the best players/lineup and putting them in the best position. Other than the Danault line and the PK, everything has been horrendous on the offensive side of the game

@@aqaz120 hell no lol. Scoring has dried up and he fails to adapt to what other coaches are throwing at him. He was good at building the foundation but a better coach that can adapt is needed for this team to do anything in the future.
The prime number rule wouldn't work. There are only 25 prime 1-2 digit positive numbers. The Isles have retired 5 (Potvin), 19 (Trottier), 23 (Nystrom) and 31 (Billy Smith) which brings it down to 21 prime numbers available. A team has 20 players in the lineup each night but most have 23 players on their roster, plus call ups.

im with Corwin on the canucks trade with calgary, watched this team my entire life and i just dont think that giving up young talent which is what this team is trying to add just to make a push is a great idea. especially with how solid this d core is. they have 7 very solid dman that they interchange from game to game and i think adding tanev is kind of a waste. i like Lindholm but idk how well he meshes on that second line with kuzy and michayev. id like to see them look elsewhere for that second line center. if Anaheim is shopping zegras then i think that would be a better option for them to trade that high on instead of a 29 y/o rental and dont get me wrong tanev is loved in vancouver and all of bc for that matter but i just dont see a fit for him with the way the dcore is constructed atm
That 2nd line centre you are looking for is called Eriksson Ek. 2-way player, 6’3”, 26 yrs old and on a very friendly 6 year contract. Might cost a bit though…ya gotta know Minnesota is asking for our 1st plus a Höglander or Lekkerimäki. I’m not sure I can do that though. I’d just rather give up a couple 1st rounders and a Kuzmenko

Why would Ducks do this? They could have had Hampus for free not that long ago, just didn’t want to commit, so why would they now? All these Zegras proposals are getting out of hand, just because they said they were willing to do it at some point doesn’t mean they’re actively shopping him.

What if you zagged instead of zigged. Use your draft picks on trades so you can get guys who are nhlers for low draft picks that wont likely turn out. Focus money on your pro scouts and eliminate risk on drafting busts

The reason the guy said JT miller was being disrespected was because for all star selections you guys didn't mention his name once the entire Video I recall.
16:10 the rumors flying about the Wild trading Joel Eriksson Ek are just silly. If he hit the market he's like a top 20 center who is only $5.25 million against the cap for FIVE more years. The Wild are trying to win two years from now. They have a top 10 prospect pipeline, they likely get a top 10 pick this year and in 18 months they'll have another $13 million to spend.
Sorry got to say the islanders have drafted very well, especially for not making a 1st round pick in the past 5 years. Nelson, Lee, Bailey, Dobson, mayfield, barzal, beauvillier, cizikas, Martin, pelech, pulock, niederreiter, sorokin, spurgeon, Devon Toews, De Haan and Hamonic were all islanders draft picks over the past 15 years. There are warranted criticisms to be made about this franchise but its drafting ability is certainly not one of them.

I hit the panic button on the Lightning and the Devils. Both contending teams with severe defensive woes. Both goalies are underperforming and both could miss the playoffs if it gets any worse.

Here's a flip on that Devils - Bruins goalie trade: Swayman leaves, Ullmark stays.
For regulation losses, Swayman has 1 more.
For OT losses (which are just losses in the playoffs 🤷) Ullmark has 1. Swayman has SEVEN.
So he has 6 more losses than Ullmark 🤷
And I get it, they see Swayman as a starter and Ullmark as a back-up, but why?

I would give up Byram & Girard in 2 separate deals, with whatever picks need to be given up, to get a goalie from one team & a top 6 fwd from another team.

Such hate for the island. I think they have a great team. I would give it one last go with a draft pick like a 2nd and 3rd for tarasanko and kubilak. Prob need a bonafided scorer. Eventhough he dosent really fit the system it's a nice blend and I feel like horvat and barzel need to man their own lines...

You are right though that they can't develop or rewlly draft good.... those depth guys are just as important but you really can't build a better team then this. Pretty sure TOR would like their defense and goalie... Islanders much better bottom 6 as well and their top 6 is defensively sound enough to shut them down.... they gotta make 1 more trade to solidify their top 6.
The wild is interesting because if anything they have been over performing the past couple of years due to WPG locker room issues, crap ARI CHI, Stl shitting the bed, and nsh retooling... Central has to be the weakest division and yeah those buyouts we are seeing the significance of that... it dosent really surprise me even with an aging blueline. Looks like they should of payed dumba.... can't really find a player like him and he is for sure a top 4 Dman. Even them going out last year getting klingberg was kinda questionable.
I don't think they should throw in the towel but I'm thinking hartman/fluery can be on the move.

Couple notes as a diehard bruins fan in regards to the offers and whatnot.
1. Bruins fans do hate grzelcyk. Grz is a good defensemen. Hes extremely agile, his gap control is great. He limits rush chances extremely well. However hes soft as shit and once a team gets cycling and physical w him he crumbles entirely. Happened against the nyi in the playoffs and routinely is bad. Also grz isnt a special teams player. Hes not a pk guy and his offensive skill is decent but he isnt a pp guy either. Thats why they got hampus lindholm ngl.
2. Ullmark. Everyone wants to trade him but here is the reality. Swayman is an elite g and younger and obv the guy of the future. But when u factor in the cap and everything we likely wont see ullmark moved until the offseason and it would be to a western conference team for sure.
Finally, i love elias lindholm and think he would be great in boston. There is a problem tho. Coyle is playing very solid in the middle and u can always move zacha back to wing but the growth of matt poitras makes this difficult. Because in a yr or 3 when poitras is a definitive 2nd line center now you run into the coyle on the third line (which is a massive overpay at 5.5 mil)
But seeing as poitras is only 19 yrs old its very hard to see thek including him in any trades.
Lohrei is not going anywhere either even if hanifin is the return. Bruins need cheap entry level deals to stay compliant so no way they acquire more vets without shipping some off.

For the bruins as a bruins fan. a first for ullmark is WAYYYY to little. with how many goalie Hungary teams there are you could easily get 2 firsts + a bit more. for the flames trade i wouldnt hate that if it was Lohrei. Grzy has left a lot to be desired this year and his best skill with being a second PP guy really hasnt helped considering they have Lindholm and McCavoy. on top of the fact a few other D men have looked very solid if we were trading a different younger player instead of Lohrei or even just putting forbort in instead id be very happy with that deal
