Besides all that, clearly OP was talking about the skill of the team, and although not by much, Seattle is still a better team than Montreal currently. Also, to touch on your point, even though it is irrelevant to what OP meant. Depending on which player you ask, playing in the hockey Mecca, isn't always a good thing.

I feel like Jesse does a great job of putting the players at ease, some of his jokes seem to really land well and just realize that its not a typical interview. Except that bit with Suzuki, that was hilarious.
As a 50 year old geezer & old school hockey fan, I still love the classic Gretzky/Lemiuex Orange/Black/White combinations. I'm super bias since I've grown up with that look. The 75th anniversary from 1992 had a great retro feel that seemed fresh at the time. I still think it looks pretty cool.
ive watched every single pod and this is by far the best or creme of the crop! (btw ranking different pod epi, good pod idea)

To be fair he wasn't doing it as an insult, he was just praising Winnipeg and complimented their newest member, just happened to be Nicks buddy
I agree I don’t think he was trying to insult him, but it definitely shows a lack of polish from an interviewer. I know Jesse is young and they aren’t really professionals but that’s the kind of thing that you don’t screw up. Especially 30 minutes after it happened. You could see Nick wanted just to get up and leave.
I think Nick was talking about Bonnano Brothers Pizzeria in Denver. Not far from ball arena so that would make sense.

As someone who lives In jersey and devils r my 3rd fav team, at first when I saw the jerseys with my dad, we both hated them, but now we both love them they definitely grew on us

No way! Sorry to say it but those San Jose jerseys are in my top 3 favourite. It’s the first all star jersey I bought and it’s so clean to wear.

most all star jersey are ass....the old school black and orange with the NHL logo are the best....The eastern/western conference are pretty classic...Most of them are just trash though. Its sad. The NHL sucks at marketing/branding. Idk who the hell makes these decisions but they need to get some sense slapped into them.
Jesse fumbled talking to Nick Suzuki so badly, super tough to watch, what was he thinking??? Jesse was the worst guy to have sit and talk with the players, everyone finds him annoying asf.
So many awkward moments with him and the players.
You gotta throw a volatile personality in there, NHL players barely have personality and Jesse helps them to engage in conversation that isn’t coma-inducing.
