The salary schedule for CSU presidents ranges between $311,712 and $586,464 ........PAYCUTS NEED TO HAPPEN....

While I do agree, but cutting one president's salary would only afford maybe...10 students? For only 1 year? Maybe less?

Idk that seems like reasonable pay for maintaining all campuses. But thats not clearly working for students so they do need paycuts at this point otherwise dont raise fees. raising tuition is insane, everyone should just leave that university scamming you out of so much money. This country is a joke, thank your congressional leaders for not giving us debt free education

The Chinese are in depression, not coming and paying full tuition, room and board. So admins decided the remaining students can pay the shortfall, because the admins ain't cutting back one dollar.

UCs are for research degrees with a much higher profit margin. Like doctors. If you go to a public CSU to become a teacher, you make the same as a fast food worker. It's ridiculous

Looking forward to when California has to cut the funding as we are getting more migrants through the border!! Thank God California gives free Medical Insurance to Illegals!!!

Increase minimum wage = Higher Tuition to pay for all employees with the minimum wage increase.
Student Loan Bailout = Increased Tuition since schools know government will bail them out.
Teachers Unions and Tenures = Increase tuition to pay for increased teachers' wages (especially for bad teachers)
You fight for the left side of the equation, but then complain when the consequentially output arrives!

To be fair, their tuition is still, very cheap, compare to MA. A good friend of mine when to UMass Boston, and finished with 0 loans without family support. He worked three part time jobs, and paid for his own tuition himself.
