- After riding this bike all over California from super tech to smooth and fast, here is our final review. Nukeproof has updated an already amazing enduro bike to something I think is close to perfection.

Fresh and clean! Super dope bike my homie!! Glad you are digging it. I never ridden a nukeproof, but the specs are spot on it seems. Merry Christmas and Happy New year bro.
Nukeproof makes some great bikes for sure. Thanks for stopping by and merry Christmas!
Amazing review dude! Thank you for the good info as always!!
Thank you Alex!!
Really like you're review style, man! I recently bought a Transition Spur in part from your comparison review of it!! Thanks and keep em' coming!!
Thank you Jay, that means a lot. I love riding and talking bikes....trying to live my best life helping others. Thanks for watching!
That is same that pushed me towards the Meta. He said a few things in his review that closed the deal. For where I take it, i think it was the right one for me.
Dude that bike is stunning. Really is a stand out bench mark bike even when compared to top end bike shop bikes. It takes all of the characteristics of the top end bike shop bikes and puts it all in one package.
it really does. it has that premium look to the frame like it should be $6k+
Solid bike and great review, brotha.
Good stuff man! I fancy that bike 🤩 and as far as the X2 performance goes, I just had it on my TR and after spending a decent amount of time dialing it in, I fell in love with it. Keep up the good work brother.
I agree on the X2, seems like they have nailed the performance of that shock. Thanks for your support amigo!
About the Meta AM, so true, it wants me to ride faster. I no longer pick lines the same way. I find it a bit above my pay grade in terms manoeuvring it. I must stay 100% focused on riding the line. Or it will pick one for me. But that cheese you hear about 'solid/stable' feeling, 'being well planted'. Coming from XC bike, you feel it.
AM is a real smasher's bike that wants to get out of the cage. At the bike park the AM was a blast to ride. Thank you for watching!!
🔥🔥🔥 review as always bro. Keep em coming and we'll keep watching💪🏾
Thank you 🙌, appreciate the feedback and support 🙏
Great review dude! Have you had much time on a megatower? If so, how does it compare to the mega, particularly on the climbs?
Thank you. I have never ridden a Megatower unfortunately. I can say Nukeproof does a great job with their bikes. Can't go wrong with the Mega
Nice! What were your final settings on the x2? :)
Hi bro great review like all. Comparing the mega with the transition sentinel are big difference regarding going down steep and fast terrain?
Cheers mate.
Great question and comparison of bikes. I think the Sentinel is more of an All Mountain bike where the Mega is a true Enduro rig. The Sentinel can surely hit the big lines, but I felt the Mega did it with more comfort. On the same trails, the Sentinel is more poppy and maneuverable, but you'll feel more trail feedback. The Mega eats the chunk and feels more planted and confident when things get really nasty. I thought the Mega climbed really well and still was relatively easy to jump and throw around for a bigger bike. If I was choosing one bike to a variety of trails, it'd probably be the Sentinel, but keep a coil shock for it for the more rowdy days. Mega is still one of, if not my favorite Enduro bikes I've ridden. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, thanks for following up my comment!!!
Appreciate you watching and happy it could be helpful
Wow nice bikes 🚴
I was in the market for a new bike and was comparing the Mega Elite to the Vitus Sommet VRX. I mean they're almost identical and I wouldn't be surprised if they came out of the same factory. On paper the Sommet VRX has better specs than the Mega elite (Fox 38 Factory, X2 Factory, Shimano XT,Maxxis assguy/DHR, etc.) for just about a hundred dollars more than the MEga. In the end it came down to whatever was in stock so I ordered Mega Elite. Still waiting for CRC to ship the damn bike to me tho..........
I have a friend that has the Sommet and loves it....and it looks great. My experience with this elite build has been excellent and will be hard to let it go. Thanks for watching and let me know what you think of the Mega when you get it.
Can you review the giga 290
I'd love to but they are very hard to come by. I have my eye on it 🤞
If you had to pick one bike. The Canyon Spectral CFR or the Nukeproof 290 Carbon Factory?
That's a tough one. For me I'd go Mega 290 as it can smash bike parks and chunk so well and climb back up. The Spectral can also do these things but for me I prefer a bit more smash on the downs. The Spectral will climb better though. The Mega 290 is nearly the perfect enduro bike for me.....so far.
@@StraightLine_MTB many thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.. i am 100% on board with your comments.
@@StraightLine_MTB have you ridden the Yeti Sb150? If so, how does it compare to the Mega?
@@darraghfinnan3740 I have never ridden a Yeti unfortunately. They look like excellent bikes for sure. Nukeproof has a much higher value for the money compared to Yeti so I find it difficult to choose a SB150 over the Mega.
@@StraightLine_MTB agreed. I am unable to get my hands on a Mega. All sold out... They are made in Ireland and I live in Ireland but i still can't get one. Thanks for getting back to me.
i assume there are no usa stores to order this from? uk only?
There are a couple dealers in 🇺🇸. Chainreactioncycles.com is where we purchased this one.
@@StraightLine_MTB Thank you so much for the information. Such a beautiful bike.
@@itr0863 My pleasure. It is an amazing bike....one of my favorites. Thank you for watching.
What is a diameter of the handlebars? 31,8 or 35 mm ?
The stock bars are 31.8 diameter which I prefer over 35mm. The smaller diameter is more comfortable in the chatter. The stock Horizon bars are excellent
@@StraightLine_MTB Thanks for a speed of the light answer 😎
What size did you go with, and how tall are you?
Size large at 5'11.5" fits great
@@StraightLine_MTB Sweet! thanks. Im 5’10 and going to go with the large frame i think
@Nate Fast Bikes excellent bike. Probably my favorite enduro bike right now
