    Wow first time I seen the judge dismissed a case and not just go off what the cop said. It was refreshing to see. All in my opinion.🇺🇸✊🏻

      Yeah it's rare but it happens. Adams has a couple others if you watch through all the videos. Judge Brown has a few on the 3/10 stream. Crown also has one, although it's on a weird technicality with an accident case.

    Without an attorney , unless there is an error on the summons or you can PROVE something contrary with pictures , etc. , it's usually your word against the police . It generally doesn't end well .

    Oh! I see what she was saying! She meant that if the cop saw a metallic car blow a stop sign that he might’ve pulled her over on accident thinking that was her but she was never at that stop sign and he didn’t believe her. Not only that he’s pretending he “doesn’t recall” other cars there and doesn’t even remember talking to the defendant. Cute. 🙄

    I am not telling people to run Stop Signs . However , most are technically illegal . They do not comply with one or more items as outlined in the MUTCD . Unfortunately , unless you are an attorney , most judges will NOT listen to the public or make a lame excuse to find you guilty in spite of evidence presented .

    This judge does not have corrupt spirit lives inside him u can tell by his Angelica face . He has holly spirits in him . When u have dark spirit in u it manifest on ur face. That cop case has lots of angry spirits in him.

  • @brookwest
    @brookwest Před rokem +1

    I would have motion for a dismissal due to the fact that he never alleged she failed to avoid a collision. A statue MUST allerdge a damage redress back to the defendant and not just the statute itself . Also the judge is not allowed to take judicial notice of something that hasn't been presented. Remember he is the trier of fact presented. So I would've definitely reserved the error of the judge. Good job I would have objected to him statement to a license. He doesn't even know what the legal definition is. He only knows what it looks like that's it

      Collier County no longer live streams on CZcams. They moved their live streams to Vimeo. I have yet to see a live stream on Vimeo from the Judges in Collier County.
      The overlay and music is to help keep this content under private copyright via The Law Chronicles. This content can be taken by a big CZcams Channel without the permission of The Law Chronicles, making all of its hard work to provide this content go to waste.

    Why is background music playing during the video? It’s not really necessary, and why does the music get louder when somebody is speaking and then quieter when nobody speaking kind of hard to hear this way

  • @kbrizy7490

    So… this was cool to see. Gonna go ahead and assume there was no tomfoolery here on the defendant’s side, ie a concocted story between counsel and defendant. It’d be a travesty if so.
    But yea, seems easy to prove innocence when you’re actually innocent.

    • @thelawchronicles
      @thelawchronicles  Před 2 lety +3

      The client might have a well versed back ground in the legal system also. The judge paid peculiar attention to the fact that the client stated there was another car similar to hers, in front of her as she was making the turn. The judge had came to the conclusion that the officer may have gotten the vehicles confused.
      To say whats really going on nobody knows. Inside the court room they are all friends on a don’t ask, don’t tell basis. If you know, you know. Follow the script.

    how many times is this judge going to ask the cop if he has any further testimony? Seems like he's going overboard trying to get the cop to add anything that might result in a conviction.

      I don't feel that way, perhaps you may be a little biased in your view? In fact, this particular judge did what many would not, and ruled in her favor. I was for her as well, btw, but we need to not be objective

    Stop signs don't make sense as a requirement. If you stop at YOUR stop signs and intersections, why do you have to worry about being in an accident related to a stop sign violation?? Stop signs should be optional, but I believe in responsibility as if you hit someone eith yor car, the perso wh ran one is at fault. Same with seatbelts

  • @linleyvanacore3036
    @linleyvanacore3036 Před 2 lety +6

    good job.. I got my cop to testify to the intersection written on the ticket where there was no stopsign. I provided court the video showing there was no stopsign. but the ass clown of a court officer still fined me however did a withhold of adjudication. I explained because of the cop testimony under oath of the intersection written on the ticket aligning with the gps numbers also listed and resting his case therefor he could not back peddle. The horrible court officer would not rule. I got something in the mail weeks later. I could appeal it but then the cop would rename the intersection. This was done on zoom so no record would be made of this event sadly. I turned this into a hate like no other towards the police and the system. If OJ could get away with murder I think I deserved a not guilty. btw this was on my birthday none the less..

    • @thelawchronicles
      @thelawchronicles  Před 2 lety +1

      Civil courts should provide the public with court reporters. Theres numerous occasions when the public will hire a court reporter for a civil case, and the court will continue the court date. Making it difficult to catch the corruptness in the act. Also of you do manage to get in court with a court reporter the court officer will rule in ur favor.. Finding that most court reporters are $200 and hour and a minimum of 2 hours, wouldn’t make it cost effective for a traffic citation.

    • @thelawchronicles

      The judge made the decision on “beyond a reasonable doubt.” Presuming the officer made a mistake of identity pulling over the wrong vehicle. This is the obvious reason.
      The less obvious reason can be: The court wont blatantly admit that they are giving the attorney/client a break. To say the least, the attorney is very popular and doesn’t stick his neck out for all of his clients. The less clients he helps the more the courts make. He gets his money regardless.

    Really bad in Ontario city’s right now…witnessed numerous people walking across intersection almost getting hit. Police officer is now watching every day and nailing people every 15 minutes.
    You need to completely STOP behind the line! With school kids everywhere it’s not worth the risk to hit someone. A couple of those and you won’t be able to afford insurance….don’t drive like an idiot 😜
