Crazy fact: Jiri´s only one decision win was against Mark Tanios, when Jiri suffered knee injury (i think ACL) right on the begining of fight. Jiri still managed to win using basicaly only one leg, it required surgery and 1 year break.

@@olegnawrld6484 I am a big fan of Jiří, I have seen all his fights available on the internet and I will tell you one thing: Jan is a great fighter but he has never met such a KO power before that I think he will be in shock. Now let's not talk about combat IQ or technick because Jan has a great one here as well too but Jiří has insanely long arms and legs+ Nonsensical cardio. He trained in Rizin to withstand a consistent pressure of 3 x 10 minutes. Vadim Nemkov (the current Champion of Bellator) was taken after the first ten-minute round with Jiří for total exhaustion and Jiří went to fight King Mo that evening. He´s able to send 100 strikes in 3 rounds, of which 10 deadly. It cannot be survived. Big respect for Dominick Reyes btw.
Jiri looked great! If Jan beats Glover in September, the UFC needs to set up Jan vs. Jiri in Poland. That would be the biggest Slavic MMA fight ever!!!
People are downplaying the performance by saying "Dom is washed" but thats just not true. Dom was holding his own. At the highest level, any fighter can beat another fighter. The fact that Jiri almost made it look effortless with how confidently he was doing all the spinny shit is the most impressive part imo
I hope Jan beats glover, cause this fight between Jan and Jiri would be crazy! But Glover is a really good fighter, so I wouldn't underestimate him.
@@olegnawrld6484 I agree 💯 and what do you guys think is next for Dom I think it’d be fair if they give him like what they did with Anthony Smith last year vs Devin Clark they should give Dominick a more favorable matchup because this matchup wasn’t the most favorable for him but it is the ufc I would even like a Thiago Santos vs Dominick Reyes fight as they both are on three fight losing streaks and I think it’s a good matchup to see who won’t be a title contender anymore

I would agree if Jiri didn’t ko dom like that I think Jiri should be next after Jan/Glover I think Rakic needs one more win maybe Magomed Ankalaev or loser of Jan/Glover in a #1 contender fight after Jiri vs Jan/Glover winner
@@alanbonesjones815 I'd agree too but I think the UFC will just give the title shot to Jiri because he's viciously knocked out 2 top contenders and Rakic has had some uneventful fights recently. Rankings wise it makes sense but the UFC doesnt do things via the rankings all the time lol
@@olegnawrld6484 Agree. You look at what they did to Michael Chandler. Comes in, gets a 1st round ko against Dan Hooker, next thing you know he's fighting for the vacant title. Also helps Jiri that Jan has tweeted interest in fighting him next after Glover after this fight and that he was the Rizin LHW champ.
@@MrDioXIII Rankings seem to only matter when the fighters arent selling the fight. If Jiri was a "boring" fighter and Jan wasnt tweeting at him he'd probably have to fight Rakic for a No1 contender spot. But yah, Jiri is going to get the Michael Chandler treatment and tbh he deserves it.
@@olegnawrld6484 He definitely does he already has a great resume ko’ing two top 10 ufc fighters back to back and in 3 day span 8 man Grand Prix for rizin he beat Vadim Nemkov the current Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion who has been on a absolute tear since losing to Jiri but for sure Jiri is going to make 205 interesting again for sure
