Travellin' through space is boring. Well, boring unless da hulk yer on is full of dem gene-sneakers, or a base fer da chaos lads wiv da spikes, or already has Boyz on it. Or if humie lootas come callin', that's always good fer a bit a sport. Or unless yer have a mutiny or two to pass da time, or unless strange fings start happenin', which dey usually do when yer out in da warp. One time we had some bloody great ugly fing come straight out of Weird Lugwort's 'ed! It butchered half da lads, that was pretty entertainin'. Come ter fink of it, space is a pretty good larf. And that's before yer find yerself a nice world ta crush!

I know Event Horizon has nothing to do with Warhammer. It explains what happened to that ship. It traveled warp without a Gellar Field?
That is the widespread theory.

That was the directors full on idea but was told to remove alot of bits and told to focus on "space threats".
Their own version of the Warp, as the "plains" of reality overlap one another like crazy,

Imagine the warp a croweded room during a party.
-Humans sneak through the room, avoiding eye contact.
-Orks punch in all directions while roaring at the top of their lungs. If they start a fight, then all the better.
Came for the lore, but stayed for the voice mashup of Nute Gunray and Swedish Chef.
Warp travel 3-2-1:
Human: Gellar Fields on and being sneaky in the warp while also praying that the Gellar Fields won't suddenly shutdown
Ork: Just screaming so hard and loud and laugh.
Deamons: These fuking loud fukers again. Yuch!
This man has a voice for novels. As in, having a face for radio means you shouldn’t be on TV. This man’s voice shouldn’t be recorded, and if it is it shouldn’t be played at a living human. This hurts.

I try to break the mold of the regular series with stuff like this when I can :)
I will like to state that Hyperspace travel is more like Webway travel then Warp travel, via the realm of the Warp, while Warp Spee seen in Star Trek is kinetic travel that creates a temporal rupture in space and time creating pure kinetic inertia that propels something light-year away like how they did in Halo, however in the case of Hyperspace there are very, very few know cases of temporal displacement, but it's all procedural, forward in time not backwards, this is to the nature of time flows, the only know known case of Warp Speed doing time travel was due to gravity anomalies and Deux Machina plot points, in Star Wars the Force Power known as Bend Space enables one to travel planets apart, it was suggested that you could use it to bridge the gaps of time itself, but it was never ever used in a story as it was seen as being stupid until Erza pulled it but I will not talk about that, I suppose that in 40K a temporal displacement case caused by teleportation can happen,

Knowing my luck the ship id be on would lose its gellar field on the day all the chaos goda set aside their differences and as a celebration do their worst to the crew of the ship. It would be like the video in event horizon
What happened in Event Horizon would've probably been the work of the least powerful daemons around, lol.
@@GrimDarkNarrator oh I just meant you had representations of almost all the chaos gods in that one scene, khorne in that they were ripping eachother apart in a bloodrage, nurgle in the maggots and rotten flesh, and slaanesh in the rape with a metal pole. I know its way tamer than anything they would really do in the actual 40k universe. Its like the closest thing I could think of that had all those things in it

Without warp travel there would be signifikant less opportunities for exploration! So there wouldn‘t be much of an argument!
Actually the emperor wanted to access the eldar webway and eliminate the warp traveling. The golden throne is part of a webway gate made by the emperor.
