Really like these Xenos, Looking forward to hearing about the individual artifacts.

I just rewatched ASTARTES 1-5 last night.... and wondered:
Is that sphere one of their creations?
    (seems so)

Also seemed that SQUAD is like the IMPERIUM'S version of an SCP MOBILE TASK FORCE

The way some of the artifacts are described almost makes them sound like a Xeno version of an stc.

The portrayal of the Yu'Vath in the Astartes mini series in so fascinating, i love the cool oriental demonic design they gave them, very cool.

So the things in the astartes series are now commonly accepted as Yu'Vath artifacts... pity that wonderful work stopped by then, although understandable, there's only too much a one man army can accomplish, no matter how talented and dedicated...

Not sure if those were actually yu'vath. Read a few comments saying that the author said they aren't.

@@GrimDarkNarrator He said that it was an original creation, but also acknowledged that it could easily be seen as Yu'Vath. Either way, it was all about enjoying the work.

Also, he isn’t done creating, just done with that chapter. He plans to make Astartes an anthology project.

@@ArchAngel119 That was his plan, but Games Workshop gave him a mobster-style offer: accept a contract to work for them and stop doing his own 40K fan work, or stay independent and face a cease-and-desist court order to stop doing his own 40K fan work. Either way, future Astartes animations are almost certainly not going to happen.

I always thought the Emperor's Golden Throne was a Yu'Vath device, but I'm 'only' a dirty heretic, what do I know? :)
*Thanks for the lore and stuff.*

It's possible. I think it's Old One's tech personally but it being of Yu'Vath origin would be neat

  • @ArdWulf

Great job... wondering now if these artefacts/corrupting entities are the origins of the Gellerpox (à la "Kill Team: Rogue Trader"). Makes for a very fitting hook, I submit.

Another question I would like to see covered is: Would Hueron Blackheart be a better CHAOS WARMASTER, than Abaddon the [h]ARMLESS?

    • @GrimDarkNarrator
      @GrimDarkNarrator  Před 3 lety

@@nowhere474 Considering that Abbadon eventually broke the galaxy in half with the 13th black crusade, i'd say he's not that bad. Huron seems a more competent leader when he wants to be, but prone to fits of megalomania even Abbadon would envy. At the end of the day, neither is what you'd call reliable :D
