Really make a big difference! Great video. Now, my epson projector really make the screen looks like my macbook pro.
The video contradicts itself. He says "you get HDR by not enabling HDR" then he leaves it on HDR enabled. Do you mean that the HDR enabled is supposed to be on but the picture setting is set to SDR 60Hz, or was it a mistake and you were supposed to disable HDR? Please clarify.
hey, thanks for the video. I did as you suggested, activating match dynamic range and match frame rate but every time or almost every time I change page, or change film, or open an app, the projector (Benq tk850i) is very slow because apparently the frame rates is always different. I therefore disable the match frame rate and now I no longer have to wait every time I change content but only when a video switch from sdr to hdr or vice versa. Is this automatic frame rate so important? I don't seem to see any differences in the movies or anything even though it's now disabled. Can these settings be applicable to an epson 5050ub? Or could you possibly do a video for 5050ub?
Dolby vision does not come up for enabling on Apple TV with the new Epson LS12000. Do we just use 4K SDR?
Not sure if this is exclusive (or at least somewhat exclusive) to JVC. Video made it seem that way. If that's the case, it'd probably be a good idea to mention that in the title.

I want to ask I have nx5 and when I turn frame adapt on at my Apple TV the images changes from dark to bright in the new movies like Dolby vision when I turn off frame adapt off it stays stable what’s the fix

Chris I have Sony vow 325es 4k projector with Yamaha v6a receiver along w Amazon 4k firestick. I had pict when setting color bit to 8 bit but when setting to 10 bit no picture an I cannot retrieve on screen functioning of firestick. Any suggestions thanks

When i try to switch to Chroma 4::4:4. i get a blue screen. I am using epson tw7100 projector with denon 4k amplifier. And most importantly using 8k hdmi certified cable. Moreover not abke to activate 4k hdr also.

Alton Moore II It’s most likely your hdmi cable, which cant output 4K 60hz. Check if it does 1080p 60hz.
My projector will not show 4 4 4. I got new fiber optic8k cable epson 5050 4k shift. Is it the cable or projector

Hey Everyone. I have an Apple TV 4K and I HIGHLY recommend these settings instead ... see below:
Enable HDR: off
Format: 4K SDR
HDMI Output: RGB 0-255
Chroma: 4:4:4
Match Content: HDR = off
Match Content: Frame Rate = on
THEN ... make sure your projector setting is outputting RGB 0-255 and you will be all set and amazed.
Try it out for yourself. No sky banding issues, no blown out areas and a very very crisp 4K image. True to color picture.
PROJECTOR = 4K Optoma UHD65
Would this mean you never get hdr displayed at all, as enable hdr is off ? I have an Optoma uhz65lv and have banding issues when apple displays in 4K hdr, but no banding issues in 4K sdr. Is that the reason for your settings ?
Hi great info. I have an Optoma UHD60 and I’m using my Yamaha as the pass through for the projector. I can’t seem to get 4.4.4. Is it because of the Yamaha?
If follow your setting there will be no hdr, i think you can do that if your projector not support hdr.
