      He faked a behind-the-back, faked going up with the ball, went up-and-under the defender and handed it off to Kareem. If that's "simple" then show me someone else doing it. If not, please shut the flying fuck up.

    These are REAL no look passes. I hate when people call it a no look pass when the point guard stare at their man and then look away for a split second. Isiah and Magic make it look so smooth and natural.

    • @FightMeRLG
      @FightMeRLG Před 7 lety +2

      He basically just jumps in the air and hangs there as long as possible before passing to the guy who was on his left. Before that he faked out two different players, getting them to jump to his right, which gave him more room to pass to the guy on his left. He just jumped and hung in the air before passing to the guy on the left, in order to look flashy and fake out Larry Bird (the 3rd defender there, after the two he already faked out).

    • @musicandmagic909
      @musicandmagic909 Před 2 lety +6

      Because he was a Bad Boy and that fucks up his legacy because they pissed off everyone else in the league. Why don't we talk about Laimbeer's rebounding or shooting? Why don't we talk about Adrian Dantley's scoring? Why don't we talk about Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson's bench play and cool as shit nickname? Why don't we talk about Chuck Daly's coaching? Why don't we talk about Isiah destroying his ankle and still going Super Saiyan to set a Finals scoring record?
      All you hear are "Jordan Rules" and "sportsmanship". It's so bad that the 2004 championship Pistons get buried alongside them. But that's okay, Isiah is always smiling because he forged the GOAT in the fires of their rivalry.
      They didn't cheat the rules and they damn sure didn't cheat themselves. Rules changed and they went back to back anyway. But because other players got butthurt, we have to have this "yo Isiah Thomas was really THAT GOOD?" conversation because they got buried in the history books.
      You're not at fault. NBA media has just shielded you from the truth.
