Don't even know what Magic did with the fucking ball, had to watching like 5 times..
That pass Magic did was so damn cold!!!!!!!!
i thought the ball disappeared for one second
Also great how Magic doesn't even look AFTER the pass. No looks it's off like it's money. No need 2 actually watch the finish lol.
***** yeah, REAL easy as u say Michael Klein. lol txs 4 the breakdown. A little harder away from the xbox remote :D
*****
He faked a behind-the-back, faked going up with the ball, went up-and-under the defender and handed it off to Kareem. If that's "simple" then show me someone else doing it. If not, please shut the flying fuck up.
Isiah Thomas was ridiculous! He had half the countdown! Never knew how great a passer he was...
he is a back to back champion and i wouldn't expect less
i think its ironic how he was diming to MJ considering the beef lol
These are REAL no look passes. I hate when people call it a no look pass when the point guard stare at their man and then look away for a split second. Isiah and Magic make it look so smooth and natural.
Well said! I feel exactly the same way. Old school no loop passes, even from Jason Kidd were good.
Exactly! Nowadays it's mostly the face that moves for a brief second. Before it used to be selling the no look with not only the eyes, but the whole face and full body language and not half assing the attempt.
Ike Ukazu i know you did not just call james harden the best passer of all time? anything else you say is not to be taken serious from this point foreward if the topic is basketball related
Wetagua I'm 15 and I see old school basketball is way better than modern day basketball especially the assist🏀(MAGIC IS THE BEST ASSIST PLAYER EVER WTF!!!!!!)#3
Had Jason Williams elbow pass went in then it would be on the list
Magics passes are so confusing
thats why we call him MAGIC. :)
ezzy bone
or maybe cuz his name is Magic
Christian Mims same thing :))
Christian Mims His name isn't Magic. It's a nickname.
Christian Mims His name's Earvin.
Isiah Thomas... Too damn good.
To this day I still have no idea what Magic did on #3...
i had to watch it at half speed to figure it out. Fake behind-the-back to a fake floater to a two-handed underhand pass to kareem. What the actual f*ck? i play basketball and I couldnt do that all in one jump even if i tried
@@deiondre0 lol I had to put in on 0.25 😂
For Isiah and Jordan to have such a huge rivalry they had incredible chemistry playing along side one another. And Isiah is from Chicago, imagine if Isiah was on the bulls in the 90s...
Those plays would've been insane.
Dude that magic pass was magical
Day 27: After almost a month of studies and analysis, I still can't figure out how Magic Johnson landed that pass. My most recent theory involves space-time bending and multiple universes.
#3 should have been #1 imo. That pass was way too great. I got faked out and I wasn't even in the game.
The All Star games in the 80's were the best! You had Isiah at point guard for the East and Magic for the West. They put on a show every year for the fans!
Wtf #3 I'm still trying to work out what he did ??
+Michael Papamarkou he passed it with two hands under his legs while still in the air, amazing!
I fucking know right?
+Michael Papamarkou It's called MAGIC!
He basically just jumps in the air and hangs there as long as possible before passing to the guy who was on his left. Before that he faked out two different players, getting them to jump to his right, which gave him more room to pass to the guy on his left. He just jumped and hung in the air before passing to the guy on the left, in order to look flashy and fake out Larry Bird (the 3rd defender there, after the two he already faked out).
Michael Papamarkou right.. I looked at it like 3 times and still don't know where the ball was
This is like a Isiah Thomas montage
1:45 both teams' line-up are just insane, like WTF !?!?
East: Bird, Barkley, Ewing, Thomas, Jordan
West: Worthy, Robinson, Olajuwon, Johnson, Drexler
Number 3 fucked my eyes all up I was like wtf just happened
+Jamar Lewis As if the ball was teleported into the hands of Abdul-Jabbar ... o_O
maybe i'm wrong, but why is it that whenever we talk about the all-time great passers we don't talk about Isiah Thomas?
Because he was a Bad Boy and that fucks up his legacy because they pissed off everyone else in the league. Why don't we talk about Laimbeer's rebounding or shooting? Why don't we talk about Adrian Dantley's scoring? Why don't we talk about Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson's bench play and cool as shit nickname? Why don't we talk about Chuck Daly's coaching? Why don't we talk about Isiah destroying his ankle and still going Super Saiyan to set a Finals scoring record?
All you hear are "Jordan Rules" and "sportsmanship". It's so bad that the 2004 championship Pistons get buried alongside them. But that's okay, Isiah is always smiling because he forged the GOAT in the fires of their rivalry.
They didn't cheat the rules and they damn sure didn't cheat themselves. Rules changed and they went back to back anyway. But because other players got butthurt, we have to have this "yo Isiah Thomas was really THAT GOOD?" conversation because they got buried in the history books.
You're not at fault. NBA media has just shielded you from the truth.
@@musicandmagic909 Well said Brotha!!!
Because he was an even better scorer
I needed to rewind and watch number 3 again to figure it out what happened.
i didnt understand:/
And still it's not clear after many replays. that's why he's called MAGIC :)
i wanna say he brought the ball down like a double clutch, and then before he hit the ground he quickly flipped the ball to kareem, but hell idk Magic was ridiculous
I think when he went into the "hike" position he brought the ball between his legs to his other hand and than he passed to Kareem.
i know, even in slow motion, I have no idea WTF he's doing!!!
I know it wasn't an All Star Game but John Wall's bounce pass alley-oop to Griffin in 2011's Rookies vs Sophomores game was SICK!
#2 is the most beautiful bounce pass i've ever seen
Look up Allen Iverson bounce pass. it's quite beautiful as well
Jason williams bounce pass too.
themasudi Russell Westbrook did that too Christmas 2016
So pretty Isiah Thomas top 10 assists in the All Star game lol
Watching Bird pass to the Iceman was amazing.
Zeke was always so much fun to watch in the all star game.
i consider Isiah one of the most under rated guards. Magic and Kidd are my favorites, I'm pretty sure they have photographic memory.
I knew Isiah was a really good PG and I seen that video where he lead the Pistons to a win despite hobbling all over the place, but I never seen any of his assists play before. He's got really good vision!
ctom30872 You really have no idea. He gets NO respect. The great 3 of the 80s was actually the great 4: Bird, Magic, Jordan and Isiah Thomas.
Kenan Cross I don't doubt that. I'm guessing that he's underrated because everyone was more interested in Showtime lakers, the rivalry between Bird and Magic, and MJ. Plus Isiah wasn't part of the Dream Team because MJ didn't want to play with him (Which was a shame, considering that Stockton got hurt and couldn't play and left a PG spot open)
Thomas was the all-star GOAT 🔥
Isiah Thomas was a genius!
Isiah Thomas ran the fucking All Star Games...
Damn! Number three. I even had no idea where the ball went
I miss seeing Kidd pass like this. I would love to say that about the others such as Magic but I was a child back then and couldn't remember.
Plays 10 to 5 are out of this world, but plays 4 to 1 are just insane and phsycally impossible
on play #4 the center (#3) is like: "dude! worst pass ever....WTF BEST PASS EVER !!"
on play #3, #44 standing on the 3p line like: "Magic pass me the ball...oh well.... you didn't have to go Harry Potter on me!"
on play #2, john stockton is like "dude wtf.... I may be the top assists of all time,...but WTF"
no comment on play #1
+elsrdick Lol number 3 though, I had to watch it like 15 times to understand what Magic did with the ball, Kareem was like "Dyam son"
Ok seriously, how many of these plays were after the year 2000? Come on all stars of 2014, bring back the highlight pass.
Basketball iq was so much better back then
LOL.
Lol
wrong
Isiah assists are amazing
I will always be proud that I was raised watching these legends. 80's & 90's!
no jason williams ? the elbow pass he did on lamar odom in the all star game was nasty
oops my bad that was an rookie game
Ya bro but Jason Williams WS the best passer in my opinion
i was thinking that was an allstar game too. also, they didnt score so it technically wasnt an assist. still one of of my favorite passes though.
410kvsi Your bad alright! and don't ever show your bad around here again, fool!
+Savion Thompson he had too many times where he was trying to be spectacular and it just resulted in a turnover
people people!!!! the Jason Williams elbow pass was in the rookie challenge lol
Not an assist bro.
+John Jones Also is wasn't an assist because the guy got fouled.
Was is all star?? I think it was rising star challenge
Seeing all these legends of the games makes me love basketball even more!
As you can see basketball was more entertaining back then i really dont understand the implementation of all the softness. like handchecking, touch fouls, ejections for simple hard fouls.
yes i've seen those 2 hour games with an hour of flopping and free-throws in between. they're entertaining but the game was fine before they should have just left it alone
kingcam0775 flagrants have been in the game before dumbass, they weren't just added...My understanding is they have lowered the bar on the terms a flagrant can be called. now anytime a nigga falls after a defensive play it has to go to review for flagrant one or two as i have said before SOFT!!!
***** you are right! basketball now a day is like playing flappy bird!!
Magics creativity was simply amazing. Kidd and Zeke as well.
Good to see an NBA video without KD and LEBRON.
There's always *one guy* that manages to bring them up, isn't there?
Yeah... no 5 was exactly that one single moment that made me fall in love with Jason Kidd. Great passer!
Wish the allstar games are like old times again very competitive.
It was so exciting when all five players touched the ball before a point. Don't get me wrong, I thing Kyrie and Stephen are entertaining, but the Spurs "boring" brand of b-ball is my cup of tea...A real blast from the past.
All those assists Isiah to MJ you would think they love playing with each other... XD
Still trying to figure out what the fuck happened in #3..
Woooooa these assist were so amazing :O
Truly amazing!
yo these were all sick af
Anyone else notice how all these are old classic plays? Back then passing was like a beautiful art form
This is THE BEST Top 10 Assists i've Seen In My Life !!!!!!!!! The real DEFINITION of no Look passes !!!
#3 fucked my head up.
Those Thomas to Jordan passes hit so much harder after watching “The Last Dance”
Zeke may have froze out MJ in that one game, but he set him up pretty well a few times!!!
Always loved how Bird just batted at it and dropped a dime with such precision… so BA
a bucket makes one person happy, an assists makes two people happy, and the nba all-star dunk contest makes no one happy :P
i love how casual some of these look.
Number 3 man omfggg
A few things: 1) That was amazing! 2) that Magic assist at #7 should've been a little higher. 3) That Jordan dunk on #4 should've been in the dunk top 10 video.
Isaiah Thomas he was notoriously for those catch and lead passes
Kidd with the crazy assist. Kemp in the Kamikaze II's. Damn that felt great
Passes are a thing of beauty. Very underrated
These are some crazy assist!!!
Even though Jordan and Thomas have hate for each other they make a good team lol
Those were some sick assists!
All of these passes are great..but number 10 should have been number 1 to me. You'll never see another pass like that! Three quarters court, off a jump ball, while jumping, and lead him perfectly! Amazing
Already have. Saw Rondo do it a couple years ago.
And now Irving did it too
"You'll never see another pass like that!" And u saw Magic's 2 passes here before?
We need an updated version, NBA!
Those are some sick passes.
Isiah used to rock those old all star games. They didn't even show one of his best passes. A bounce pass alley-oop to Dominique. In fact he had a couple of those.
He and Jordan played really well together though. Too bad they got along so poorly.
Somebody fucked up the description. I think they meant *assists*.
Jason Kidd has #8 and #5.
Wow!
He's really one of all-time greats.
that boy magic was cold with it, isiah too
Man, I.T. was something else.
Good to see Isaiah getting along with Jordan
1:29 Shaq's head movement was so funny!!
#1,2, & 5 were my favorites. vintage
0:07 barkley looked so funny in them shorts
Heh, actually #4 was through the legs of a teammate, not a defender.
Isiah, magic, and Larry were some of the BEST passers of all time
Isiah Thomas and MJ works great together
Ezail Walton ÀGUILA I think they used to hate each other tho lol
Ezail Walton ÀGUILA They are enemies
Yeh Ik but its just amazing how they both create plays like that even if they do hate each other
Yeh Ik but its just amazing how they both create plays like that even if they do hate each other
Yeh Ik but its just amazing how they both create plays like that even if they do hate each other
jumping higher, dunking more doesn't mean more entertainment, these ain't old, these are classic....OG really knows how to ballin and having fun there
Magic was ridiculous,Greatest PG in NBA history
Wow man. Was this 94 and below years ??? Been sleeping on the good ones
Where lebron doe?!?!?!?
JK guys before i get death threats by lebron haters
haha xD
the east will win just like in college football right L'carpetron
I laughed so hard hahahahahhahhaha
Ďïę
wow! 4 of zeke's passes made this list. truly one of the best PG's of all time.
Damn can you imagine if isaiah and jordan were on the same team
happywhale4 Jordan hated Isaiah Thomas, the reason Isaiah wasn't on the dream team was cause Jordan wouldn't agree to play if Isaiah was on it.
The only player assisting like that today is rondo
Rubio.
720quickscope and him
ehhh id about cp3. dont get me wrong his assists are nice but not as fancy as rondo and isiah
LeBron does NOTHING like this. Jason Williams is LONG pass retirement.
Whatever happen to passing just to get the job done..
Sick miss old school basketball
Isaiah and Jordan did great together, shame Jordan didn't want him to be a part of the dream team
Damn.. This was so good i gasped like nine times!
Amazing team chemistry but where is Larry Bird "the LEGEND"?
Oh my god that was sick
Zeke is GOAT
Isiah Thomas was so damn amazing
When Shawn Kemp dunk , you can't see the motion !
Even the slow motion could not explain Magic’s passes
I like the compiled assists all other
Awesome video!
I'm sure a lot of kids are disappointed 'cause there is no play from recent years.
But the point is that those were the immortals players from which the current players still need to learn a lot from!
sick pass by Bird....a rebound pass actually
Miss those times when Magic and Isiah ruled the All Star Games with their unbelievable and almost Globtrotters kinda passes!
Much Gratitude
I think it's cool how even though Isiah Thomas and Jordan don't like each other, they teamed up for some amazing plays
yo magic johnson was mad g he just did that pass then ran back to his side of court without even attempting an offensive rebound, he already knew his teammate was gonna score.
#7 was awesome!
