It's kind of scary how well Kobe and KG work together.
So is Vince & A.I.
🤨
They almost played together.
I like the acknowledgement to Tracy McGrady. Honestly, his is the best for many reasons. The biggest being that he invented the Self Lob.
that no-look pass from Kidd to KMart is in-sane
With the left hand. People keep forgetting that.
Carter's self alley oop was nasty!!
He actually broke a Bone in his hand I think.
He did not play the second half of the game
"Kobe and Garnett, two of the youngest superstars..." :')
No look underhand pass by J Kidd. Man..
With his LEFT HAND
Here catch that
From half lol
T mac was the originator of the self alley oop.
In a game yea
Iverson, Kobe, KG, Vince Carter... how could you ever go wrong
Tracy McGrady was indeed the first player to ever have the guts do a self alley oop in a NBA game. Not to mention splitting the lane as well.
nope...vince did it against the bucks in jan 2000...in a half-court set, aswell as against the rockets in dec 1999
Who else misses the old Stoudemire?. It's messed up what happened to him, he was on the verge of solidifying his rank as the league's best power forward when he had that terrific season in NY but then injuries denied him of that.
Fucking word. People forgot how hard he was killing in NY before the injuries/Melo got there
FreeTheGhetto
b4 the infamous fire extinguisher injury, i feel like that was the climax/pinnacle of his career and hes only been going downhill...the performance that night alone was a precursor
I think he made a mistake going to ny, I think he should be starting over chandler tho
Quail Springs Productions different positions
no his brother died that what happened
There were 3 Kobe+KG alleyoops. Imagine if they had played together...
and mcgrady to have 3 highschool prodigies on the same team man that was my childhood dream
I'm glad someone else thought the same like me, that would me wonders if kobe and KG played together!
chasewerf99 Diego
Jason Kidd's pass was nasty! One of my favorite point guards ever
I dont think anybody appreciates how hard the NO LOOK lob from jason kidd was...with his WEAKER HAND. That should have been number 1
No my man it might be hard for us but that’s easy asf to him it’s not hard to scoop the ball with your opposite hand especially with years of practice and in a all star game with minimal defense
who else didn't want this video to end?
It looks like KG and Kobe could've been a great duo on someones team...
***** 2nd would be shaq and kobe
william mckoy So true... 100% agree with you. Have a nice day!
It's really a shame that Minnesota didn't select Kobe, and to think they were thinking about drafting him but they didn't because they didn't want 2 high school players! Wow!
Jason Kidd his pass was unbelievable, no look alley-oop pass with the left from 5 feet beyond the arc, just amazing
Mcgrady so good, wish he never got injured
Damn KG and Kobe had some crazy hoops back then!!!
J Kidd threw a no-look one-handed oop pass!
That's some great coordination.
Garnet+Kobe= Love (not the player)
VC's was sicker than T-Mc's , but T-Mc's was #1 cause his changed the game! 1st time anyone ever seen it in a game..
T-mac's was cooler because he actually got around the defenders with that pass, while Carter's was straight forward with nobody inbetween.
Vince Carter's self-alley oop was the best for me. He's so explosive and athletic. Legend!
This video kinda makes me sad the KG to the Lakers trade didn't go through in 2007. Kobe + KG would've been something to behold.
Stern was hating on the lakers hard. Luckily Kobe got Pau, and the rest is history. KG, CP3.
wazaaa4
tired just like in the 80s lol then they said we dgaf well win regardless of cap taxes etc
Around 2000: Defense, play physic, showtime.
From 2014: shooting 3...
Wooo that no look pass from J.Kidd tho!
the time of carter kobe tmac garnett and etc is the best and so entertaining
make me wanna watch every team..
i don't wanna compare it today where only few teams is really competitive..
East was still weak back in the day. Celts went to the conf finals or conf semi finals when they were a 40 somethin win team
KG and Bryant playing well together, scary.
Kobe and Garnett could have won a ton of rings if they were on the same team...
DUNCAN to KOBE off the board to KG.. my goodness, i'd would trade everything just to see those three at their primes AGAIN.
Vince's self oop was the best
Kobe and Garnett was having a good ass time.
That VC plays was the best
kobe is like there in every play...mcgrady and carter are sick
jason kidds no look alley oop was nasty. aha
Man, KG in his prime, was on of the Best players in Nba history, It's sad to see people disrespect such a legend.
Tim Duncan at 37 > Kevin Garnett at 37 lol
Yea I understand, but KG is prob top 5 PF of all time
TheDarkestEdge id put him 3rd karl malone and tim duncan. duncan being the best
LorisMasta17 dont forget about sir charles
dhaliwal21 i didnt garnett is better
lol @ all the kids saying they didn't know Kenyon Martin was an All-Star. Watch some old Nets games. He was a monster. Tore his ACL and was never the same.
He was indeed a rebounding and monster dunking machine. It's a shame his injury happened :/
I like Carter's off glass oop better... Just a personal opinion.
mcgrady's is ranked higher because he did it first I guess
McGrady's best 1 came in the 2004 All Star game. They didn't put it in for some reason. That shud've been #2 cuz Amare's shud've been #1
sheikh03 Yep Amare's dunk was underrated.
seems not personal
+Anno wang
Wow. Is this how it would have been had KG and Kobe became teammates?
Kobe KG dayumn if they had been teamates the mentality and toughness of the team would be sky high
I think Kobe did pretty ok with Shaq lol
I wish the NBA would just go back to allowing players to wear there own jerseys during the all-star game.
Yeah that would be sick
Why did they stop?
I don't know, but these jerseys they are making players wear is disgusting. I miss the old days. It just looked more liver when you saw every star with his own jersey on.
the nba makes a lot more money by having an all star jersey. it would be sick if each player wore their team jerseys though
***** Yeh, like the other dude said, they more money this way...
Kobe is really a living legend !
Miss u T mac
The days when the all star game was worth watching
Amen
T-mac!!! I miss him!!
Better than the last videos
Yeah T-Mac def got that #1 spot... And my nigga did it in a regular season game too.... Only if he wasn't Mr. Glass tho
This video makes me wish Kobe and Garnett played together in their primes
I feel old as fuck looking at highlights of Afro kobe and Jason Kidd with hair LOL
Idk bout you guys but for me Early 2000's was the golden age for me from like 1999-2006 so much athleticism great players everyone considered when Jordan left it was over but it really wasn't the 90's players may have been more skilled (Jordan Olajuwon etc.) but the early 2k's was a great period for the NBA and the 2000-2005 All Star games were so fun to watch as a kid.
Totally agree with everything you said! (#90skid). I also wanna say that the Finals back then were amazing too. I remember when I was little watching the 2001 finals with A.I.'s 76ers and Kobe/Shaq's Lakers. It was soo exciting!!! The only finals that I think were pretty interesting since that era, was the 2008 Finals with the Celtics vs Lakers, as well as the 2013 Finals with the Heat vs Spurs.
Garnett and Bryant would've been unstoppable if they were teammates in their primes!
+Duncan Donuts That almost happened twice during trade talks from like 03-07 before KG went to the Celtics.
+Duncan Donuts and Tim Duncan.
+Duncan Donuts Instead Kobe got Shaq and that worked even better,
+jparkerez _ that was after shaq left
I think the 1998 NBA All-Star game was the best - Jordan's last as a Bull, had the likes of Shawn Kemp, Penny Hardaway, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Karl Malone, Shaq, Kevin Garnett, J-Kidd and many other veteran names and up n coming guys.
Many of those became greats at many things and are probably in the greatest 20 or 30 players to ever play the game, this is truly on of the best highlights reels i've ever seen
Fuck why do people get old..
Nothing like a beautiful alley-oop, Jason Kidd's pass was insane
That Rondo to LeBrom was judt beautiful, and so were the two legends of the game KG and Kobe connecting on those oops.
I remember a game where Lebron and Dwight seemed to throw up alley-oops to each other for like 10 possessions in a row. That shit was bananas.
No it was awesome
I miss the old T-Mac
How many was Kobe in???
Amare's was the best though.
kobe sucks
Supbro231 Maybe in the world where sucking = winning
Supbro231 i guess one of the best players to ever play sucks??? just shut up Kobe is the 2nd best shooting guard hands down.
Mcgrady is best lmao
@@Supbro231 you suck
I remember back when Kobe had hair... Those were the good ol' days..
Lol
I remember when LeBron's hairline was closer to his face
You guys are baking lol
Oh how I miss Frobe...
Yoshio Ku well do you miss both now?
kg and kobe tho
Man vince was a different beast when it came to in game dunks them cousins be going crazy sheeesh
That Kobe and Garnett duo would have been ridiculous
#1 everyone is looking around to figure what is happening!! lol
Something tells me that Kobe and Garnett would have been an amazing duo
This is a kind of you watch it again and again and it's amazing all the time:-)
Kobe and Garnett have a thing for each other, I love it
If they teamed up when they were younger they would've easily won 3 titles
Kobe and garnett the best all star duos
Salute for giving T-Mac the number 1 spot. That was never done in a All-Star game until he did it.
that Amare alley oop was nice.....i thought that was LBJ
which one was that
T-MAC to the rack
Rondo should get more credit
in a top 10 with alley oops? Are you high?
***** fu its harder to pass then jump and dunk ok try jumping for one then try passing it lunatic
I agree 100%
just that pass was Aw some
cv
Miss those days.
I love how in the last play Kobe's like, "Damn I needa try that.." *Uses it in normal games*
you put up these videos every year
KG & MAMBA ♥
0:27 this nigga laughing but got embarrassed and harassed by Dream in 95 WCF LMFAO
that's David robinson...
+Rigved Goyal exactly lol
carlos eatsbacon Oh my bad. I thought you were talking about the Finals, and I was like, he never faced him in the Finals lol
This list was dope
2:34 Kobe: "Why didn't I think of that?!"
This was awesome
I love alley oops !!!!
'You Dont want a shaq in ya back'
facts
Little did they know when they were young, Kobe and KG would help relive the greatest rivalry in NBA basketball. When you think about it it's pretty cool
Kobe has the best alley oop(Number 5)🏀🏀🏀
Does anybody else notice that Kobe is in every single All-Time All-Star videos? Legend....
Carter is the best dunker
REAL DAMN CONNECTION ON KB AND KG
Wow, that Garnett and Kobe combo!
Where is T-Mac’s off glass in 04LA in the paint? J-Kidd’s reaction on the bench is priceless!
That dunk by shaq on the dream was crazy and that lob from J Kidd was insane!!
This was an awesome list, I liked carters smash the best tho
Alley oops most exciting play- perfect for all star games
that no look oop pass from Kidd was nasty.
That pass from jason kidd...
With his left hand too. Smooth.
Carter self lob at 3 was way better than McGrady at 1.
T-mac did it first tho
osytad23 Doesn't matter. If that were the case most of the dunks shouldn't be there because they had been done in the 60s 70s or 80s, long before Carter, T mac, Kobe, or LeBron ever touched a court.
squatchin77 I'm not saying T-mac's was better, I'm sayin that's why it's number 1 on the list
squatchin77 Who's done it before T-Mac? I don't think anybody did, at least on camera.
Carter's was nice because of his hangtime. Look at tmac's lob though. Through it left handed from almost 3 pointer arc. Ran around defenders to catch that ball brought it down and stuffed it down. That is more creativity, and did it in traffic which is harder to do than vince's lob because no one was there.
Jesus Christ. I didn't want that video to end
The one Steph Curry threw to James Harden this year might have been on this list if it was made more recently
Kobe at #10 was trash for even a regular game lol u right it would've been #10
Ah Yes.. The good ol' days 90's and early 2000s
Alot better than the all-star dunks vid
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
nice played nba
VC's off the glass is the best.. period, so much power and style, you cant compare
That no-look underhand alley by Jason Kidd was siiiick.
