I have an idea for a boss. They can’t be staggered, their Ki won’t drain, and they never stop attacking. Won’t that be FUN!!

Every boss, these damn bosses take forever to kill, once you learn their moves all you need to have is a lot of patience. Plus they're overpowered like a final boss. Let's just say these bosses are fucking ridiculous.

Wouldn't it be nice if I had such an infinite Ki bar. Mine is a ninja build, while I can melt most Yokai bosses pretty quickly, my tools are completely useless against him. I constantly got one shot from him with my miserable health bar cause I put too few points to constitution...
This boss broke me, it is extremely cheap

I used the tonfa on him to knock his stam down and do kill blows I tried everything else and this was my personal best method.

This is the point where I gave up on the game. By far the hardest “souls like” I’ve played. I died soooo many more time on Nioh 2 than on Nioh 1. No mas, done, moving on.
gingerbreadboy yeah, at first I thought it was easier (region 2). Then the middle of region 3 happened...and now this guy in region 5. My god...

I honestly think no reward can be enough for beating this guy, except for getting my money back lol
i hate the fact when you are the middle of attacking, he intercepts and counters so quickly with his Ki before any chance of a hit from my guy
I found a way to cheese him! Equip any Tonfa, use Mid Stance, what you wanna do is hit him exactly one time then walk around him on his right side for about one second and hit him one time again. Rinse and repeat until he dies. If you time it right you can hit him right as he drops his guard and basically stun lock him. If he uses his Yokai try to dodge because its impossible to block his Flurry attack and will basically insta kill you. Seriously give a try!
I had trouble with the spear method, dodge get 2 or 3 hits rinse and repeat. Instead i went full aggresive with dual swords and god of hand to deplete his ki and stab him in the guts. He went down in under 2 minutes
Dark Souls: hard, but fair.
Nioh: ha ha.
Exactly how I feel about this game
So, he once he gets down to around 30 percent. he just keeps spamming his supers over and over again. no way around it because it stuns YOU if you try to interrupt it. small room, fireball super spear super fireball super. repeats over and over and over.
i've beat him just by luck alone. as much as i enjoy this game , some fights are just unfair
I find this boss much harder than shibata katsuie who is considered by many players as the hardest boss in the game. I summoned an npc to help me with this fight
I forgot how I beat him first time now I have to beat him again on the bridge
Really unimpressed with Fextralife's "guides" for this game. The majority of the boss guides are very lazy and don't provide much detail. Loved the Dark Souls stuff they did but there are so many better options for guides for Nioh 2. Also, just to contribute, dodging to the side is not a guaranteed miss with this guy, it's always better to dodge at a slight angle and loop around to his back.
why does it look like he has so much room in this and on my game the space look so small

I beat him by tonfa combing his ki down and yokai shift
Think only boss so far who has truly shown me my aggressive style won't work with him xD
Mataza make your stamina laughable, Shibata make you question the size of the room your fighting him in, and then comes a sub mission of shiranosuke the unkillable makes you question why is he a revenant in the first place ?! then here comes Shuten Doji i know a lot of people find it very easy but for me i felt i can travel to the antarctica and he can still beat the crap outta me with his club ?! Yeah you would like a word or two with the boss developpers of Nioh 2 ! LMAO
I don't really appreciate these videos.
It is almost like these are the most perfect versions of the fights. The bosses even seem to give you breathing room. When I play, they don't. I wouldn't even be able to get off a slice after dodging in most of these instances.
It isn't that these aren't sound strategies given how your fights proceed. It's just that this isn't at all how they play out for everyone. For instance, I got stuck on ryomen, because he didn't care how close I was to him in his blue form, I couldn't bait his swipes. Instead he just homing arrow'ed me to the face over and over. Game would no let me dodge them.
The game also does not reward you with gear well enough to advance and I feel bad for anyone that put their points one way and suddenly get stuck because of that.
Now all that being said, I do appreciate that the game is supposed to be challenging. I just don't appreciate when I am employing the right strategy, I still get punished.
Takes about 45 minutes on wotn some human bosses are horrible to fight In the game on harder difficulties and don't feel satisfying when you beat them
Boss like him becomes easy if you use yokai pots.

all noobs just use him for the burst counter
Brute yokai shift is a fkn beast, he can club down anybody and just face-tank all the damage
I beat this guy recently and I'm just here to say F this guy with his cheap unblockable attacks and his yokai and the room he's in
I hate this fuckin game right now. Way too many human bosses its annoying as hell. I miss butt ass ugly yokai.

This isn't really a guide. It's more like how they beat it. Doesn't go over make of the bosses tactics. Only the few that leave the openings. Even still, this boss is cheap. He has an attack that seems to home in on me even will running. He is a fast runner too with range so you have to run a odd angles at times. And I swear the CPU takes note of your patterns. A few times he cut me off by dodging at the same time as me. Like, I'm on defense. Why is he dodging? He just attacked me! I have had to juke this guy because he will try to cut you off at an angle. This boss has been the most annoying for me lol. I built a kus/ninjustu build. It's rough on bosses like this that block and dodge ninja tools lol.
Nioh is Better than Darksouls.
Those old Lame boring Games with horrible Graphics and npc KI and slow motion combat System . Lol.fact.
Nioh Series and Bloodborne are the Best. Deal with it .😊👍❤
Gameplay, yeah Nioh is better but Nioh's storyline is nothing compared to dark souls storyline
