Grow some self-respect! Why would you care if someone thought you were weird for enjoying this type of artwork! I apologize in advance for my overtly patronizing tone; but you should no way feel weird about your taste in entertainment. Unless that entertainment is meant to purposely hurt others on any level.

Cyberpunk 101: When a megacorp says they have your health and safety in mind, they don't. Unless you are probably rich or a confirmed non-threat to their enterprise in addition, lol.
It's not a forgone conclusion that the company will liquidate the host. If the host was put into cryosleep promptly enough then risk to the host is minimal. After the operation, the company has more than enough resources to ensure the silence of the patient without resorting to extermination. For instance, Morse was allowed to live after having contact with a specimen and helping to contribute to the destruction of the Queen chestburster along with Ellen Ripley. While not impregnated, he had more than enough information to be execution-worthy had that been company policy. However, he survived.
While it's often a thing with movie to portray WY as uncaring and " _Don't worry, your painful death will be for a glorious scientific cause!_ ", I'd like to think that, they should have more than enough data from other crazy scientists who would let them be born natural, in order to understand how to remove them without killing the host. And a host that survives I would take it as being far more valuable to them than a host they just die.
Just think of the possibilities right there. Someone agrees to the insane plan that, his family will be compensated handsomely, and each month he gets impregnated with a xenomorph that they can remove. Perhaps this'd result in the Xenomroph weakening overall, perhaps it'd result in some Xenomorph-clones that would fight each other or such. There's a lot of story potential right here. Perhaps the host would be too weak so the Xeno would attempt to burst early, only to end up too meek to survive.
Personally, I like to think that there's two branches of the WY thinking.
1) The Bioweapon division. Those we've seen the most.
2) The Anti-Xenomorph division. They are the ones who want to figure out all the weak points and how to effectively combat Xenomorph infestations. Like, how can we create acid resistant armor? Would a powersuit be effective against them ( _see Aliens: Comic Book Adventure_ ), and so forth.
Editing and narration on this channel is always so top notch.

The beginning Alien 3 clip of 85 explaining to the WY and the Alien clip of Lambert explaining what happened. I have never seen those scenes before. I have a couple different box sets of Aliens Verse, and never saw them.
@@leonefurlan137 The scene where Lambert explains what happened to Kane is from the director's cut of the original Alien. Not massively different, but subtly so. Slightly shorter running time, and reintegrates some scenes, alternate games and trims to make what in many ways is a more experience. But the original cut is still fantastic. Its not like the Assembly Cut vs the Theatrical Cut of Alien 3,we're the Assembly Cut is far superior. Between the two cuts off the original film, there's not much in it.

The time and dedication you put into your video is.....(I keep thinking of different adjectives, remarkable, amazing, thoughtful) is perfect. Perfect for the subject, I honestly feel like someone like you should be a consultant for any movies or any media for the on going Alien universe. Where do you find these clips that no one else has seen? I've seen the Alien 3 clips but that one from the original movie. I've never seen that. I would love to see a reboot of that movie. I know a lot of fans are upset with Prometheus and the direction that was bringing the universe but for me it is just a new look. Another take at that universe and a way to breathe more life into it. I like all of the Alien movies. Anyway I got sidetracked. Please keep up the good work. It is very much appreciated. I'm subscribed for life!

Right?!? Some of these clips I’ve never seen as well. And I’ve seen all the movies multiple times. Directors cuts and all that stuff on DVD’s. And yes, his voice is perfect for this as well.

Excellent way to start my Tuesday morning at work, Coffee, toast and a new Alien Theory vid
Got an idea for the next movie: a group working from a frater sort of like the nostromo goes down to investigate an emergency signal, one of their team members gets facehugged but with the knowledge to put them in stasis with the facehugger still attached, brings them back to Wayland intact and then just kind of go from there. Would make for a very very interesting movie.

I love how you take footage, stills, game footage, sound and apply filters, cropping and distortion. It makes the videos look and sound like decaying transmissions, being picked up years after they were sent.

Unrivaled and breathtaking presentation once again AT - you really are raising the bar to unseen heights.
Side note: in the original cut of Alien, the Alien possessed a complete lifecycle, with the still-living bodies of its victims converted into eggs which was cut for reasons of pacing, leaving the ultimate origin of the eggs obscure. This allowed Aliens director James Cameron to introduce a concept he had initially conceived for a spec script called Mother, a massive mother Alien Queen which laid eggs and formed the basis for the Aliens' life cycle. Had that scene not been cut, we'd never have had the Queen!
Cameron conceived the Queen as a monstrous analogue to Ripley's own maternal role in the film. In that vein, some critics have compared it to Grendel's mother.
