Improvising is hard. But actors still need to be able to pull of this difficult skill set. At any moment, they may need to react to an unexpected element in a scene. However, it can also be a tool of fun! Many actors love the thrill of devising dialogue on the spot. It can give them the opportunity to express some creative flair. Even massive film companies like Disney can be breezy with some off-the-cuff acting. As evident by the times it’s happened in the MCU. Improvised moments can create film-gold. As not many people know the character like the actor does. Especially if they’ve played the role for many years. As such, they can help mould some cracking and emotional scenes. As well as some hilarious lines.
But, it’s not just the MCU we’re looking at in today’s video. No siree! We will be looking at any time Marvel characters have arrived on the big screen! I think what happens with improvised scenes is that the actors improvise while filming, then if the scene doesn’t work with the improv, like the other actors don’t cooperate or something, they’ll reshoot with the improvised lines. I thought of this when Dave Batista improvised, “I’ll do you one better! Why is Gamora!” Why would the directors have a camera pointed at Dave if he didn’t have any pre-planned lines

At this point, if they ever rebooted iron man, the person playing tony stark would have really big shoes to fill. Kinda like will smith when he had to do the role of the genie in the Aladdin movie.

"He's a friend from work" is one of my favorite single lines in the MCU. Pretty incredible considering its source. That was surprising lol. It really was a perfect line for Hemsworth. I can imagine Stark saying it, but it wouldn't have been quite as perfect as it was for Hemsworth's Thor.
I understand that many actors do not watch the finished film (with the CGI &SFX) Like they are tired of acting. I would have thought that would have ADDED to the character thus making more better of an actor? Being hung on strings or on a sawhorse in front of a GREEN SCREEN lacks something for the actor.

It wasn't the dialogue that blew me away in the Thor: Ragnarok arena scene. I was blown away by Thor's ridiculously excited reaction when he saw that it was Hulk, paired with Loki's terrified face. It was priceless.

Tom Holland "dusting" in Infinity War was amazing. He made that scene so real. I was really caught off guard that it had some much depth to it when I watched it and it's amazing Tom pulled that all off himself.

After learning that the Tony-Peter hug was improvised, I rewatched the scene and noticed that Robert Downey Jr. _almost_ breaks character and smiles when he looks away. You can see it in the corners of his mouth. XD
