From the people who brought you "25 Times Marvel Actors Went Totally Off Script" comes the next exciting instalment in the series: "15 MORE Times Marvel Actors Went Totally Off Script"!
We... we couldn't think of a more imaginative title...
ANYWAY, Marvel movies have always tended to allow the actors who star in them to be creative - and that's resulted in countless moments that you probably didn’t even know weren’t scripted.
You might be surprised that some of these moments involving the likes of Robert Downey Jr. (who plays Tony Stark AKA Iron Man in the MCU), Chris Pratt (who plays Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord in the MCU), Chris Hemsworth (who plays Thor in the MCU), and Benedict Cumberbatch (who plays Stephen Strange AKA Doctor Strange in the MCU) were completely ad-libbed - though you might be less surprised at the fact that one of them sees RDJ humorously trying to one-up his good buddy Tom Holland (who plays Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man in the MCU).
There's a chance you won't look at certain scenes in these Marvel movies in the same way ever again!
If you'd like to know what exactly those moments entail - and indeed which other stars are included in this video - you'll just have to watch it to find out more!
We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don't forget to subscribe to Screen Rant's CZcams channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.

Thor ragnarok was without doubt the funniest n brilliant thor movie
Agreed on that! 💯
agreeeeedddd
Wait until we sat L&T
Alvin Niel I’m not excited that Natalie Portman is in it. She ruined the other Thor movies in my opinion, and I don’t want her back. She left by herself and I feel like she wants to come back because of the fame Marvel and Thor has gotten over the years... (obviously I don’t know but that’s how I feel...)
Ragnarok was the best because she wasn’t there to distract him and he could be funny.
Natalie Beck She signed into because they told her there would be a woman director for the second Thor movie - the woman who ended up directing the smash hit “Wonder Woman”. I don’t remember why it was changed, but Portman has been in the entertainment industry for DECADES and it’s well known how hard it is to become a director if you’re a woman, and/or be recognized with male counterparts around awards season, and/or get the chance to direct movies for big mainstream projects like this. So she had some right to feel slighted, considering in the second Thor movie in a lot of the scenes they feel reduced to nothing or get killed like Frigga.
Given that she’s adapting the more recent Thor comics where Jane takes over as Thor, and Taika is known for being a good guy (and they’re both Jewish) and fair...Probably easier for her to accept this time round.
"Please be a secret door, please be a secret door, please be a secret door... yayy🤗"
Such a child, that man..
He's not a man (no offense meant by that, of course!), he's a tall child
The yet was my fav part of that scene
yey
*yay* was my favorite part
Aleksandra yup
I love RDJ as Tony Stark. I’m seriously going to miss him in the future MCU films.
you mean tony stark as rdj right
@@sammier.6125 tony start?
Trinity Livingston lol I’ll fix it I hate auto correct
Total Creative Gaming I bet he’s going to appear in black widow series
He might be coming back for Black Widow!
I believe the whole Deadpool movie was off script.
It was so good to see it made me laugh so hard
Ridha Basadien Deadpool and a bunch of other characters doing improv the movie
Staring Ryan Reynolds
I wouldn't be surprised, it is Deadpool after all. =|
Ok That was good😂
i believe it was a reality show
Y'all forgot to include that R.D.J is basically a squirrel and hides his food on set, and the directors gave up trying to find it, so when Tony asked Bruce's if he wanted a blueberry, it's actually R. D. J's food
He said that in his last one
They mentioned that in the last one
I want to like this comment but it has an even 500 likes and I don’t want to mess that up...

Thor snake story and Loki’s smile gets me every time ! Lol 😂
Every time Loki is on the screen always gets me to smile, or even fangirl a bit. Most likely I fangirl a whole lot because Loki/Tom Hiddleston is my imaginary husband, I love him so much. 💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚

Yesssssss
Apparently Chris Hemsworth has mashed up two stories of his childhood, his love for snakes and Liam Hemsworth throwing a knife at him😂
Literally the secret door scene when rdj said "yayyy" WAS SO CUTE AND IDK WHY. Rdj and iron man are my fave
9:50 I never really thought about it but man Ragnarok has a killer cast.
Yup.
Literally
Uuuu

I laughed really hard at the Jubari scene where he threatens to eat them, and then goes "Just kidding, we are all vegetarian"

Wait... If Thor's hammer can't be lifted how could it be held by the rack. Unless... The rack is worthy!
The rack is very very worthy XD
" These things are like smart bombs , you point them in the right direction and " Meghan Fox wait what ravk ?
@plaguelock indeed
@plaguelock You clearly don't understand the joke,
Ever watched Age of Ultron?
I shouted "The coat rack is worthy!" In the theater watching that scene.
Deadpool shouldn't be in these... It's like saying we found oxygen on the surface of the earth
Well technically the surface of the earth is the upper atmosphere of which has very little oxygen
@@migii820 way to be that guy
zip it Thanos
Disney owns Deadpool now
Crunch lol. Someone had to
The whole Ragnarok was the best. It is good to let actors do what they do best. And, they had fun with their roles.
You guys missed the joke. Watch 4:54 again! He’s personally joking with his ‘Sherlock’ fans!!! That’s what Sherlock always does with his overcoat! The whole theatre laughed when he did this!
well he was trying to look cool with is cheekbones and turning up is collor
He made a sherlock holmes reference that bcus he act as sherlock
Waaaaaaaaait.
Oooooooh damn I missed that! lol
Michael Noland my god I just noticed it

@@BlueStar4040 Absolutely. Tom and Robert being Peter and Tony in real life.
7:56 that "yey" make me smile😁
87 percent of Thor Ragnarok was improvised? No wonder it was hilarious! I loved that movie! Definitely in my top 5 favorite marvel films, it's just so hilarious and enjoyable!
Improv is the best medicine.
Jeff Goldblum was proof of that as The Grandmaster.
But only when the best do it. Improv can be excrutiatingly bad, but these actors certainly fit the bill.
Jeff is just being Jeff haha, but I love it!
So yeah, RDJ and Hemsworth are my favorite actors. Like, thanks for making me smile so much my face hurts
Wow imagine how good this video would be if this guy didn’t talk the whole time and show the clips
that's the biggest thing I hate about these types of videos. just say "number one" then shut up
Why don't you watch the movie's?
Tanya AUSSIE Because sometimes people just want to watch their favorite clips of the moving instead of either sitting through a 2-3 hour movie just for that one scene or searching through the whole movie for that one scene.
It’s called screen RANT for a reason.. just search the clip if you really wanna see it without commentary
I loved Thor the Dark World. I liked the fact that Jane went to Askard & Loki’s breakdown after his mom dies.
I love that one scene where RDJ is like:"Please be a secret door, Please be a secret door, Yay! " He sounded like a little kid!
“Please be a secret door, please be a secret door,” *wall opens* “yaay”
The "this is where you zip it!" line added so much to the film. Rdj is such an amazing actor, it was like he was acting himself. He'll be missed.
RDJ one upping Tom, dang man! That scene always scared me a bit!
Tom: yay I can improvise! see guys????? I'm good at this!
Rdj: I'm gonna end this man's whole career
“‘Bwah! It’s me!’ and he stabbed me” was my favourite one
Imagine if Captain America’s line of “language!” Was improved
I laughed when he said that. Big tough guy is a prude😆
@@doriwilson6991 It's actually a case of Whedon being a terrible writer (on top of all the other terrible things he is). Captain America was a SOLDIER from Brooklyn. He should have been the most foul-mouthed of them all but instead Whedon, in both Avengers films he was involved with, wrote Cap off as some prudish boy scout Pollyanna. I'm grateful that he was NOT foul-mouthed, but I am so glad the Russos made Cap feel like a real person as opposed to just a walking cliche.
I love it when RDJ ad libs. He is so great at it and it really shows off his quick wit and incredible acting skills.
*15 Times Screen Rant Has Made The Same Video*
yes
Lol 😂
BSJ IN YO HOUSE 150 times screen rant has made a video on the Avengers and most of the time it’s the same video
Does the content change?
No different to LOOPER.
The last bit, with RDJ Correcting TH about his age, was, when I heard about it, a great moment.
Both showing their abilities to play to their strangths, but of course RDJ has years on TH.
Briliant scene too!
This is one of "the most" memorable lines in spiderman with
Toney Stark/RDJ
Is one of the reasons they should have never even considered killing him off.
delvina irish wasn’t his contract about to expire?
I love how he actually referred to RDJ as “The Master”
Do you ever look at a comment and think " I wish I wrote that"
I know I do^/^
more like... "i was going to write that"
Know not now
*know
I've actually seen this before
Damn, I wish I wrote this.
Starlord killed Tony Stark, Natasha, and all the others that died after he slapped Thanos. Change my mind
hehe
I refuse
HE WAS GRIEVING FOR THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE THAT JUST FREAKING DIED
Starlord saved half of the population of the universe, because the timeline where he slapped Thanos is the only timeline where they win.
Proven by Doctor Strange.
Segata Jonshiro I mean, there it is.
What about WHY IS GAMORA.
That was in his last one
What about WHEN is Gamora
@@pellowyurple3694 what about HOW is Gamora!
@@pellowyurple3694 marvel really taught us our wh questions
@@AIOG7yeah, I'll do you one better, WHO is Gamora?
It’s crazy how something as iconic as “Wakanda Forever!” was not scripted.
if star lord hadn't punched thanos avatar would still be the highest grossing film...
He shares the blame/kudos with Thor, who went for the glory kill as opposed to the direct kill, but it's really all on Doctor Strange. He knew everything that was going to happen from looking into the future. Everyone that got dusted is on all three of their hands...But it's like Gandalf at the end of the Battle for Minas Tirith in Return of the King. The most blood is ultimately on his.
Loki, look who it is! LOKI'S FACE 😂 I LOVE LOKI AND TOM HIDDLESTON ❤❤❤
I love him too💖💖💖💖💖
Robert downie jr is an amazing actor and made a great comeback in his life! Plays Tony Stark so well, like it was meant to be,
tony stark is a good actor playing rdj
"Wakanda forevah!" Always brings tears to my eyes...
I like that in the part where Thor tells them about the snake story, Loki sits there and smirks just like “And I’d do it again”😂
The story Thor tells about Loki turning into a snake then stabbing him was from the comics.
I'm glad the actor put that nine in.
but wait... wouldn't that mean the coatrack is worthy of mjolnir? XD
LinkmasterGamingYT no because it’s an object 💁🏾♂️ not a living organic entity
The elevator can lift the hammer, but elevator's not worthy. Coat rack can hold the hammer, but its still not worthy.
None of you guys understand the fact that watching Age of Ultron might prove useful,
it's called memes
@@StarLight-so4nm if CZcams let us upload pics to comments I would have. 😉
Whatsoever weild this hammer if it be worthy shall possess the power of Thor
The freaking "I am Groot!" "....I am Steven Rogers" really gets me
7:57 his yay sounds so cute uwu
That UV light, Jackson Pollack painting adlib. Both gross and ingenious...!
The funniest part about that is actually Pratts bodylanguage, his mimics, like he is very proud of the fact, in a naughty way.
I hope gamora doesn’t start licking around the ship😉😉😉😉😉😉
"You got issues, Quill"
I enjoyed Thor The Dark World, not sure why I gets so much hate.
There were good bits in it between him and Loki and Thor just generally being Thor, but the whole story around the "bad guy" and that stone was not well written and should never have made it into a film - in my opinion, of course. Stories truly are often as good as their villains.
Natalie Portman ruined the movie
@@andreabolton8223 her character was really boring, I agree XD I've seen her in other films as a decent actress though.
Honestly, while I wouldn't say Thor: The Dark World is as good as most of the MCU, I think it's still better than the first Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and both of the Iron Man sequels.
@@SithCats No argument about the iron man sequences (they could've gone with such better villains, sigh...). The first Thor grew on me I guess - didn't like it the first time, and well, Hemsworth and Portman just don't really have the required chemistry (Thor is not a romantic character to begin with). Incredible hulk I sorta liked - not the best by far, but certainly the beginning was quite all right, goes downhill once the romantic interest arrives.
When Cap says "Smash" Hulks face is Totally understandable 🤣🤣 when my friends tell me to "Destroy" Well...
"Friend from work" in Thor:) which I read was also improvised
That scene was hilarious...then Thor gets smashed aroud
i love that line!
When StarLord dropped the power stone ball, it was by complete accident, but Chris Pratt stayed in character
❤❤ Chris Pratt
No one:
Thor: I bEliEve yOu cOpiEd May bEard
What’s amazing is... if Starlord didn’t mess up the first attack on Thanos, they may have defeated him, which would have possibly prevented Gamora from returning. Therefore him messing things up was actually a positive in the long run. Mind blown!
It's all on Doctor Strange. He saw millions of timelines, he knew what was going to happen so everything that happens in Infinity War and Endgame, EVERYTHING after that single moment where he looks into the future is on him.
I love Robert Downy Jr's add libs.
I can't remember how much I repeat this scene 7:54 when I watch that movie (on my laptop). Tony was just so hella adorable that I cannot HAHAHA
Chris Hemsworth is absolutely hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 but right up with him is Chris Pratt !! Oh so pretty to watch & good laughs as well!! I really love Tika ( idk how to spell his name 🤪) directing AND acting, he's hilarious as Korg( sp again probably wrong!) Thx 🌟
It's Taika. Just so you know
who's chris pratt? never heard of him.
Tony Stark is so important for MCU that they built a time machine before killing him.. He IS the mayor of marvel.. Love him
I think another off-script was when Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) yells "Peter" and covers her mouth
It just goes to show to some degree that actors kinda knew how to 'play' their character. Imo
I think all these actors have become their character! Method acting?
“Please be a secret door! Please be a secret door! ʏᴇʏ!“
This "yeah!"... I love it😂 its one of my favorite scenes😂😂😅😆
Thanks for explaining the black light joke, I don't think we would have gotten it without your help 🙄
4:11 THE COAT RACK IS WORTHY IN THE EYES OF ODIN!!!
One of my fav parts of thor 3 is when the hulk keeps throwing thor down and Loki is like YES! cuz hulk did that to him in the first avengers lol
He's just a fan of the sport xD
Loki: this usually works
We will miss you king T'Challa . Wakanda Forever!
9:58 I didn't know that Zachary Levi was in Thor Ragnarok 🤯
He was always one of the Warriors 3.
gina928 He wasn’t in the first Thor. Fandrall was played by Josh Dallas from Once Upon a Time in that one.
Did anyone else hear him say brownie 7:51 and he said it in another video just like this too
ME
Its awesome when the actors are allowed to incorporate their own personality!
Thor Ragnarock and Aquaman are so unique because they show us so much of Chris' and Jasons character ^_^
Thor Ragnarok was 80% ad libbed? No wonder it feels relaxed, fun and much closer to home compared to the previous two Thor movies.
Without a doubt, it saved THOR, and Chris himself said that the hair loss was a biggie for him, because the hair was a killer to do in Makeup.
I loved the other two films, and there is nothing really wrong with them, they were supposed to be as they were, but the humour that we got, was certainly allowing us to enjoy the MCU a lot better. IT made them feel more normal, rather than it all being ultra serious etc, so yeah, to say it felt relaxed is I agree pretty much spot on.
i really did enjoy Thor ragnarok
RDJ and Chris H are the best ad libbers! But, not to be outshone, there are some great rejoinders from so many others, they ALL shine! Enjoyed the clip
Wow explaining that joke for 30 seconds makes it sooooo much funnier...
The plot of Thor the dark world wasn't amazing but is one of the most quotable movies
I'm really upset they didn't credit Matt Damon in Ragnarok
build a statue of me... with the big bendy horns!
Maaaaatt Damonnn!
I’m glad he admitted he couldn’t think of a more original title
Rdj is so cute

I love how aggressive R.D.J was on that last one
Jeez
7:56 *"yay"*
2:36. Black Panther was 2018, not 2017.
Why do you explain the scene like we’re baby’s just show us the clip. The video could have be 5 minutes without the commentary
Because then they wouldn't be able to get money through ads
but ad revenue man, they need them money....well not really need more like want
Because that's what's known as "copyright infringement" and it's illegal. You have to add commentary to avoid copyright legal issues.
Marvel actors are the KINGS & QUEENS of improvisation! Suck it improve comedians everywhere!
Those from RDJ and Thor 3 are my favorites ♥️🤣
Siriusly shut ur mouth, Dark World was wonderful. As a BIG MCU fan, how can I not like it?
As a big MCU fan, Dark World scores 4/10. It had way more potential and was quite boring, compared to the other movies.
It was a step back.
And Ragnarok, was almost a comedy, I liked the fun in it, but it wasn't really suited for this movie or Thor. And let's not start about the nonsense with Hel...
@@MikaeruDaiTenshi wow I agree on Ragnarok. Quite an unpopular opinion, but I thought they went a bit overboard with all that comedy.
*seriously
I'm a big MCU fan. I barely remember Dark World. I don't think I hated it, but it was just very forgettable. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to love every single thing.
Anybody else feel like the actors should write their own script on phase 4
No
Rest in peace, Mr. Boseman. You are greatly missed :(
8:22, totally the best line in Infinity War! I love that line, one of the best lines in the MCU!
Oh c'mon, 99% of the dialogue in Deadpool was "off script".
