Another Massive & Broken Update, but Gear Score Scaling fix & new SnS Ability!

- New World Update 5.0.3 returns the Medleyfaire Event to the game, only that it doesn't really work as intended at all. But Gear Score Scaling is getting a fixed and a new Sword and Shield ability was leaked.

You should do a video where you look at New World's official "Known Issues" list and compare it to what actually is and isn't working properly right now.
how in the hell do you release an event patch , that is still coded to be activated a year ago AND NOT SEE THAT PRIOR to releasing the patch. How in the F*** these devs are allowed anywhere near the LOTR IP let alone consoles , is beyond me. JFC man. with this dev team i guess i shouldn't be surprised anymore. Im not even mad anymore, im Impressed, that they manage to scuff some of the most rudimentary shit.

if u been here from the start, its incred frustrating. like really "easy" obvious bugs go thro, again and again.. many that would just require the most basic surface level of control(often even just reading needed). and also so many that were reported by the community, on ptr etc, only for them to still make it into live. Like one of the best and more harmless examples, was when the tool tips for everything showed code, instead of the normal text. where its like, "how can noone at ags have seen this, before letting it go live!? they have done so much just stupid, imcompetent and embarrassing stuff, over the years.. its no wonder they just now wanna ignore us, and start over with fresh playas and console. they have thouroly runined multiple generations of PC NW playas..

Surely the October Update is going to be released flawlessly without causing major issues and everybody is going to be happy with the game. Surely.

Summer event is fucked > Radio silence > ghost hotfix during peak hours > introduces dupe bug. the classic AGS cycle
*edit >leave dupe in game for 2 weeks and ban none of the abusers

Note to console players: don't take the day off on launch day. You probably won't be able to play.
What SnS needed was to be usable without shield. If you dont equip one, you get a different right tree.
This was an easy answer to the lack or long wait times between new weapons... but they cant even do something simple as add an actual black dye to appease people, so i dunno 😂
Me and a few people started talking about the file size thing maybe last year and how it was taking ages to install, especially since we all had the same SSD (samsung evo) we wanted to try and report it as a possible issue since it was a pretty new occurrence for us but man people in the discord absolutely clowned us for "not understanding how patches work" and we actually got banned from the server over it. People will always try and make excuses or just don't have it so they don't believe its a real issue but there is 100% something wrong with how their patches patch and there has been something wrong with it for awhile.
Hopefully this means new abilities for every weapon. It would definitely make the Aetnum update better for me. I just want more stuff that isn't targeting new players.

Bug/Lag World serving up an absolutely unchanged Medleyfair for the third time in a row and they don't even have the kindness to change the date on the servers? From now on I'm going to stop playing it for good. They're just stringing us along, nothing more!

Luckily my Medleyfaire quest line works and progress normal. Also I can play the Maudlinbug Song without any problems. So, for me the event is working as it did the last years. 🤷♂

Opr bug ... Why do I lose so often? I appreciate I am poor at it, but random chance should mean that I get groups that's are excellent at it.... Just seem to be on the losing side so often.
the summer event skins still said 2022 on them last year when they trotted this event out for the second time. This is now the third time and they still can't figure out how to change a value in the loot table to fix it. clownshoes devs

Don't buy expansion, cap lvl 60. Use patterns for 700gs with lvl 60 requirements.

New world Aeternum is not a classic P2W mmorpg, instead it is a P2L ARPG.
Amazon pioneered the genre.
With their constant carelessness and outright disrespect to the PC community (their actual player base), I finally (after far too long) actually uninstalled this massive pile of shit yesterday and it genuinely felt good. Would highly recommend.

They could add some Seals and Inductors, but they are known for never giving us useful stuff or compensations for the dogshit state of the game, like other companies do.
