      @@ethanweeter2732 honestly the only glocks iv ever seen be bad about misfiring or something of that nature is 99% of the time ammo related or either its had some cheaper after market parts put in it. Iv got several glocks that iv had gor years now and also got 2 gen 5 model's which are the 19x and the 45 9mm they are basically the same gun just a different color truthfully. But iv honestly never had a problem out of any of my glocks at all , iv had some reloaded ammo fails that caused a malfunction but it was the ammos fault. Now im not saying that there arent any bad glovks out there im just saying from my experience with them, im sure there has been some lemons come off glocks assembly line before you know cause they are high production guns. If they were hand fitted like the high dollar 1911s are id say it was very unlikely but im sure there is bad ones. But as far as buying a glock to protect yourself and family id never ever have a doubt about it firing whatsoever.

      Internal extractors are notorious for cracking from feeding the chamber and dropping the slide.
      The internal extractor 1911 and p series all moved away from that style because recruits broke them consistently.

      @TheJimminiShow  Před 3 lety +2

      I've asked a few military customers and law enforcement customers at the gun shop. The few that have seen regular combat told me they rarely used the front serrations on their pistol. One army guy told me he rarely used his pistol at all when deployed. It seems that from what they told me, if they had to use their pistols, they were in trouble, so worrying about front cocking was the last thing they cared about.

    GENTLEMEN PLEASE EXCUSE MY CAPS ( MY CELL'S ATE UP ) ANYWAY , I GOT MYSELF THE VERSION P226 RXP LEGION , TO MY SURPRISE I THOUGHT THAT ONCE YOU INSERT A LOADED MAG ( OBVIOUSLY ) AND COCKED IT WAS READY TO FIRE ( WITHOUT PULLING DOWN THE "DECOCKER" LEVER ) ? I TRIED IT A COUPLE TIMES AND IT DIDNT FIRE . SO I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT AND I SENT IT BACK TO SIG , 2 DAYS LATER , THEY SENT IT RIGHT BACK SAYING ITS PERFECTLY FINE . SO IN FEW WORDS : IM THINKING THAT YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO COCK IT AND PULL THE TRIGGER ( AND IT WOULD FIRE ) OR YOU CAN ALWAYS BRING THE DECOCKER DOWN BEFORE PULLING THE TRIGGER. IF THE GUN WONT FIRE UNLESS YOU ACTIVSTE THE DECOCKER , THAT MEANS YOU CAN CONSIDER THE DECOCKER YOUR MANUAL SAFETY , RIGHT OR WRONG ? ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT CAN ILLUSTRATE ME , ILL BE MORE THAN THANKFULL .

      Just a quick question, when you say cock it, are you in fact racking the slide? Not trying to imply anything but I need clarification. The 226 Legion should be able to fire in either double or single action mode without having to touch the decocker oh, that's why I have that question
