Glad you got the A/C fixed. In addition to the radiator for the engine, the A/C has its own radiator that is called a condenser. The condensers are typically mounted in front of the engine radiator. It's important to make sure that both units are blown out. Debris could be getting caught in the gap between the A/C condenser and engine radiator. Try to keep that area blown out as well. If your diesel engine is turbocharged there could be a third radiator that is called an intercooler. That also needs to be blown out. The A/C unit will also have an evaporator. The case that holds the evaporator will have a drain tube that dumps water under the machine. Look for a stream and/or a steady drip of water coming from under the tractor when the A/C is running. Make sure that drain tube isn't plugged with debris.

Great down to earth, real video! I always wondered what happened to the field kill, now I know. Good for you for taking care of it, and trying to look for more ahead of the machine.

Glad you fixed the a/c, and now you will know for next time. Engines need 3 things to operate - oil, water, and air. If one is compromised it will cease to function, especially when operating near their limit as your tractors are at most of the time.

Neline, I feel your pain on the AC. Living here in Texas I have had that happen on occasion and you just cook in the cab. And rear window open doesn't help much.

It seems that your tractor should have a cab fan for instances just like this.
WalMart has them 12volt clip on $12 and they oscillate.

Duck thought it was Wabbit Season I guess and let their guard down.
The fuzzy stuff was likely pollen from something accumulated earlier over a longish time. You easily wouldn't see it in the open air if it was very fine. Same happens with dust particles slowly gathered in a filter mesh.

Check the cabin air filter on your swather as well, one of the most neglected filters and seriously affects your AC performance.

Working in a glass office on a 30 degree day without A.C. would not be fun. Again we were shown what a 30 degree day can look like in “ The Land Of The Living Skies “. Tornado watches and warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, hail all around us it was quite the afternoon in Saskatchewan.

the low hydraulic fluid warning was likely the hose (that later broke) leaking; the AC compressor may be on a hydraulic motor too (I understand fly-by-wire operator controls like hydraulic motor power units).
Machines work in union; everything is connected/related to everything else. You can bet that if something new is squeaking it's likely going to be related to the next thing that goes wrong. :)
You have to become a 'machine whisperer' and 'intuit' what's going on. After some years you can get really good at it. :)

Two points about language: In teaching for 50 years, I noticed that females often preface their points with the word just. No! No! Make assertive statements. Don't apologize. Second, I notice that you often comment in the middle of a sentence with the word "Yeah." Is this a feature of the Dutch language? Is it a feature of the Canadian expressions? I notice that your siblings don't have these mannerisms.
