    Nice job. But I really think those pads change the hit of the shaft.

    Curious about your set up. Do you spin the shaft using a maintenance arbor, and then hold the shaft near the ferrule with a steady rest with deluxe chuck? I always see you slide it back after installing the tip and moving on to trimming and sanding. I'd love to see the whole setup.

    Hi! I always watch your videos. I need some advice regarding my ferrule not totally leveled on tip part. Should i change the whole ferrule or just cut out the un even part? Thank you!

    If I’m having trouble with my joint feeling too lose when I screw my cue together is there a solution. Working with a radial joint.

    • @mattevans1643
      @mattevans1643 Před 5 měsíci

      Figure out if it's the shaft or the butt. If you have rings or anything they could have come loose too. A radial pin would only feel loose if it is.

    • @arsbilliards
      @arsbilliards  Před 9 měsíci

      Elk Master tips are the classic soft tip. They play great but don't last very long.

      Elkmaster are the old school. Great for bar cues but not a personal cue, unless you do repairs yourself. They would be classified as junk nowadays, but they are perfectly fine tips. Just need to replace them often if you play seriously. Just like their chalk, but chalk is not the same as a tip. Masters chalk all day everyday, but tips nah i'll spend extra for the newer stuff these days.

      It makes for a softer hit and it is nice to have there for the next tip install

    • @mattevans1643
      @mattevans1643 Před 5 měsíci

      Also know as a silencer, it helps absorb the shock from striking the cueball, and makes the hit not as loud.
