What is the glue you use for the tip? Seems to dry real fast. I have done several, all by hand though.I use Gorilla Glue High Impact clear gel. May not suit everyone but I have never hadca tip come off but I do let it sit overnight.Just wondering what type you use. Thanks
Loctite Gel Control is the best glue that I have found for tip install. It dries in a minute or two but I usually give it 5-10 minuets before I start shaping it.
I've gotten Kamui clear tips where the clear pad wasn't flat. So I'm always going to sand them before install. You could glue on any tip without preparing the glue side but it won't stay on very long. 😆
Beautiful work!
almost gone deaf from the loud ass air blowing
😅 sorry
That's a hell of an equipment just for a tip....

so.. the clear part is glue? or I’m missing out
Danke🎉
Kamui specifically says not to use gel and not to sand. Can't help but wonder if they're tripping, because it makes no sense.

Why didn’t you narrate your video.
What gritt paper?
What glue used?
What’s the liquid used during the process?
🤷♂️
@@arsbilliards…you don’t know?
What kind of answer is that? Maybe the person that made the video would be the one to ask.
先角と座を削ってませんか??
What kind of adhesive did u use?
Loctite superglue gel control
5:08 what's name of the liquid?
Its tiger liquid burnisher 😁
@@arsbilliards it’s not liquid. Looks like a sort of cream
@@bruceyoo3162is liquid but it does kind of look creamy when applied
does anyone ever get a new kamui but wants you to cut half of it? i can't stand the look of a tall tip
Yes sometimes customers want the tip cut shorter.
Ouch. So much sanding on that poor ferrule. After just a few tips, it's going to be a noticeably smaller diameter than it should be.
you shouldnt sand the kamui tip acrylic layer. No need to.
That's the way I do it 😁
Lucky?
sure 😂
dangerous operation.....
