      We need to promote more Lithuanian culture and cusine in Poland. And establish strong bonds between us.

      You dont have to worry. Only territory we want to take is Kalingrad. Poland "doctrine" twards all its eastern neighbours (Giedroycia-Mieroszewskiego) is to rewise all out "supposed" claims (one of the only good things from wwII for PL is that it removed ethnic thensions with our neighboirs) and to support their idependence vis a vi Russia. It was created in late XX century and Ukraine - Russia war shows that it is the main doctrine of polish foreign policy.

    As a Polish person i can guarantee Poland is not leaving the EU over 87% of Poles support EU membership and Polish government highly supports Ukraine joining the EU so Poland is not leaving the EU anytime soon. Another thing is we love Lithuania and Lithuanians if anything ever happened we would be the first to help them. No one in Poland would want or agree to a war with any of our neighbors we just want to make sure 1939 never repeats itself and what is happening in Ukraine really opened our eyes that we must protect ourselves for the future.

    The biggest problem we have in the EU is not Poland, but the countries that want to continue doing business with Russia. Poland is a problem for these countries because the Polish economy is growing too fast. They are getting more and more influence in the EU and more and more encouragement from the Baltic States. There are countries in the EU that don't like it. For example, Poland has the largest hard coal deposit in the EU... and what is the EU doing? It forces Poland to close its mines and prefers to import 195 million tons of hard coal from non-EU countries...logic? In order to get money from the EU, Poland constantly has to meet new milestones. As soon as they meet their milestones, new ones will be added... the last idea comes from the Netherlands. Poland is supposed to give back 400,000 hectares of farmland to nature, as this land was once artificially drained... this idea comes from someone whose land was 1/3 created by humans and not by nature. So shouldn't the Netherlands give back this land of the Atlantic Ocean? There are simply some countries in the EU that want to restrict the Polish economy in order to be able to keep Poland small.

    • @vatoloco8726
      @vatoloco8726 Před rokem +8

      In addition, the Chair of the EU Parliament Mrs. von der Leyen said publicly in English to the opposition of the Polish party PO (D. Tusk.) "Donald, I hope to see you again next year as the Polish Prime Minister. Apart from the fact that it is extremely disrespectful to the current Primae, she says these words to a man who feels like he's sold half of Poland. A man about whom they call "our man in Warsaw" in Moscow. A man who appeared on television after Russia's 2014 attack on Crimea said: "We'll take Russia as it is". Everyone's talking about how great it is that Poland is arming itself. Under Tusk, there would no longer be an army in Poland. That and only that is the true face of many EU countries.

Compared to the still sleepy Western Europe, Poland is acting now: developing also their own heavy industry, being more realistic about this "green-turn" madness, protecting it's social values against more aggressive cultures etc. Europe's main task is now to end ruZZia's imperialistic wet dreams a.s.a.p. I do not expect you to feel remorse, but I think it will be better for Poland to become the guarantor of Germany's security than for Germany to become a military power again Two world wars are too much for Poles I promise you that in case of any invasion of Germany we will defend you as our freedom.

    • @Faulpelz55
      @Faulpelz55 Před rokem

      @@grzegorzmalenta2359 I can guarantee that neither Germany nor the Germans have any intention to invade Poland or any other neighbour except from the way we do it for decades now: as tourist with sandals and white socks that annex the lounge chair next to the pool with a towel at 5 a.m.
      There is indeed a critical group in the population that wants Germany‘s former size back. But there are so many more that either still remember the Nazi time and are „war sick“ or are used to live in the Europe of open borders as we now have. I’m 33, born 12 days after Berlin Wall was torn down and I really don’t want to shift any border or get borders back. It doesn’t matter weather a village is on the Polish or the German side of the border. I can just walk over.
      For me one of the greatest ideas of the 21st century is a combined European military without small armies in every country.
      Just recently the German and the Dutch military made the next steps to unite and that’s one of the best signs and a guarantee for security and equality.

      I think the most significant problem with Germans is that Germans forgot about GOD. Yes, I think about the Christian God who came here from Heaven and was killed for our sins. This is not religious consideration but reminds us of our cultural roots. These roots are also partially ancient Greek and partly Roman. This created a mixture that allows us to understand our cultural codes and gives us a base to live in peace. Unfortunately, after military episodes from the first half of XXc, Germans try to next experiment under the title "Red is better than Brown" it means that after national socialism, you are introducing communism to Europe, which means much more trouble than we have had during the last 100 years. How this RED Europe should look like you can find in the "Manifesto from Ventotene" of Altiero Spinelli. You probably know this name. He is a communistic St. Paul. He wrote it in the early forties of XXc, being jailed by Mussolini. Mr. Spinelli wanted to have United Europe without wars, but in his mind, this could be possible only under the Red Flag". I am not going abstract his book but underline one crucial thing. European Army by Spinelli is a military organ that is necessary to implement into life directives of the Central Government ( Brussels) in the provinces by any means. I am not interested in being an object of pacification by the band of people with arms who could get an order to introduce the superiority of communistic catechism, which is the European law over the Polish constitution. No way, but it is only one point from many which could change our contemporary peaceful life into hell. So the project of German communists of the brand new Europe is unacceptable to the vast majority of Poles.

      Germany will never improve its military. Nor will you make it easy for others to arm themselves. We all remeber how Germany reacted one week before the war by stopping not allowing the UK to fly over germany with their weapon supplies. That is why we've got to arm ourselves with korean and american weponry. I am under an impression that Germams are quietly waiting for Russia to win and go back to business as usual. It worked and it was Lithuanian Jagiello who realized this and convinced us Poles. If someone is believing in any Polish Lithuanian arguments then it is under Russian propaganda influence. Russia is trying to make us enemies towards each others (Ukrainians, Belarusians, Poles, Baltic states). They are shitting their pants right now by seeing how united we are. Poland will be the first to protect Lithuania if shit hit the fan. No questions about that. Poland don’t need any land since we are all in the EU. This kind of thinking is a Russian mentality. That’s why we also want Ukraine in the EU. To share land, opportunities, culture and development.

    Poland is the canary in the coal mine, they know the probability of a full scale World War 3 is higher than it has ever been. This is the perfect moment to expand and upgrade the military. They're accomplishing a few things with one throw 1. Upgraded equipment and more of it on good financial terms mainly with US/Korea due to the environment. Also a lot of this involves local production and maintenance so its good for GDP long term 2. Donating older equipment to Ukraine and getting that equipment backfilled again for a good price 3. Raising their geopolitical status as both a humanitarian nation and a regional power. Lastly, Putin is a strategic dummy. Completely miscalculated the support Ukraine would receive and just made everyone around him - including historic enemies like Poland - exponentially stronger.

    When I started to read the comments, I wanted to write something great, something more that could be said, I wanted to express my gratitude that Poland is perceived so well by other countries, these warm words, this solidarity between countries. I could refer to geopolitics, to the struggle for resources and influence, or to the historical differences between countries and people. Only this will always come down to one reflection: The fight for freedom is the fight of all of us together, if freedom is considered to be independence, justice, democracy, then borders do not exist and all barriers that can divide us disappear in the fight for freedom. Come on, it must be emphasized that the allies between us, the guardians of justice and freedom, have faded a long time ago, for that I thank all of you, brothers. Long live the free world!!!

    3 slavic sisters is not actually a polish folklore belief. We are taught the myth of Lech Czech and Rus, who started Poland, Czechia, and Ukraine respectively. Three slavic sisters is a Russian creation, describing belarus, ukraine, and Russia origin story from Russian perspective.

      And the not-so-recent history too! Sweden, France, Germany, and Russia had all invaded Poland by the early 1800s. And going back further there are invasions by people from the Asian steppe, the Huns and Mongols.

      Not just in recent military history either. Poland has been ganged up on from surrounding neighbors and totally screwed more than once. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was politically manipulated and physically invaded from all sides and wiped out in the 18th century.

    To a man from New Zealand, where little is readily known in mass media about the "infighting" and politicking that goes on in Europe, this was very interesting and instructional, tying together several threads I had read about. Poland does certainly not want, nor deserve, a repeat of the terrible events of September 1939 when Germany invaded, an event that led directly to WWII.
