A real LS player will bring 2 same LS so he doesn't have to sharpen any of them.
Yes this is me 😂
Gotta make sure teammates have no downtime in tripping lmao
@@wandeezpso2114 there's always one person like you huh, slot flinch free and stop yapping
@@Angels-Haven There's always one person like you huh, learn how to identify a joke and stop yapping
@@MinisculeBug yep, deal with it
I like how they slow down the pace just to fit the animations. Mount assist, weapon swap. And hopefully gameplay would be slower and more impactful.
Yeah, I don't like when the fight gets so fast and chaotic like in Sunbreak. Most likely the pace will be the same as World.
Hopefully the LS s will be more forgiving and "slowed down" aswell.
@@Schnarchnase LS i frames are allready forgiving as heck
Some monsters are designed with speed in mind, but others like Rajang in World as an example was, in my opinion, paced way too fast.
@@takaharu2879in rise yes. World fck no, only if u do foresight slash.
For quests with multiple monsters of varying elemental weaknesses, I’m just gonna bring two different elemental Switch Axes.
Nice choice, but how will you use efficiently the element on your weapon without investing in elemental attack? What if you can just change SA, and not the skills? That's the thing.
Switching to a gun whilst thr creature is airborne and then switching back to melee seems more op for me
@@yobro6053 THIS
That was my first thought too
I probably won’t get a specific elemental boost skill, but rather crit element and also element exploit if it comes back from Sunbreak. They could learn a thing or two from that game about making element good.
I hope the co-op is more seamless than world’s. I was pretty unsuccessful getting my friend’s interested because of how much of a pain it is trying to get through world’s storyline together
Exactly, the storyline was painful to do with friends. Joining the quest, watching the cutscene and then leave to rejoin your friend. Such an unnecessary complication. I’m optimistic they will improve this in 6th gen!
With all the talk about immersion and realism, hopefully they allow you to toggle the bleed effect instead of just not having it available.
With this large and diverse map we might see Gammoth again or maybe a new desert variant Gammoth
Fellow Gammoth enjoyer
@@gwynbleidd8723 cheers to you mate🥂
I think Gammoth is a lock.
Iceborne = Glavenus
Rise = Mizutsune
Sunbreak = Astalos
Wilds = ???
It just makes sense.
I never liked Gammoth's fight but I have nothing against him if they are willing to radically change the fight eheheh
@@PeppoLSwhich of the fated four is your favorite hunt (any game iteration)?
As an LS main, I like Acidic Glavenus :))
That new handler looks so cute!
And the smithy lady definitely does not need fire to melt her metals😆
Lmao you are goddam right about that
To add to 4:06 you can see that serpent creature there as well wrapping around the neck of the doshaguma, then in later frames the doshaguma chucked it off its back and you can see its head and back (peppo skipped this part in this vid but you can see it in the full trailer), it looks like a small lagiacrus or it could be those small serpent circles on the wilds logo (maybe they are the offspring off a bigger creature, being the large serpent also seen in the wilds logo)
The tunnerling monster we see at 3:57 is most likely the same monster wrapped around Doshaguma few seconds later. The fact that Doshaguma managed to throw it like that without much effort is a clear indication that this "small lagiacrus" monster is definitely weaker than Doshaguma, hence not much relevant. The only idea that I came up with is that it could have been the alpha of those crocodile-like creatures we see at 2:28 because their body structure is really similar, however it is also true that it could be an offspring of another bigger monster. However, as we saw at 5:12, small monsters seems to stay and attack in packs, especially if that was a large monster they are attacking, so it would make more sense to think that this monster wrapped around Doshaguma is a large monster as well. Also if he is really the one who set that sand trap, it would be too much OP that a small monster alone would be able to defeat 3 minor Doshagumas like that. Does my thinking make sense?
@@PeppoLS yh ic now, thx for clearing it up, mine did seem like a bit of stretch lmao. its probably a large monster we will fight before Doshaguma
Only Peppo would see a GS shoved in a monster's mouth and notice a LS hunter on the side
I knew Peppo would notice the special sheathe! None of the other reactions to the trailer noticed! Eyes have purple sharpness IRL!
Great video, Peppo! I can't wait to see some SnS and LS gameplay!
I’m hyped as much as you are, my friend!
Analyzing every detail! So hyped for these new features 🎮👀
I think id rather have the same maps style as mhw than an open world map as that might affect performance horribly
yh they said on the website that the windward plains (the area in the trailer) is the first locale we explore meaning there are more (like in world) but from the trailer alone i think these locales are MUCH larger with quicker loading times (due to next gen ssd speeds) so its like semi open world (this game will be more demanding than world 100%)
Fair enough!
I just hope that performance and optimization is good at launch. Dragon's Dogma 2 had a terrible launch because of that and even after all this time they haven't fixed it yet.
I don't get how anyone thought they were going to make this one a full open world. The mount should have just told people that the zones we will be getting are absolutely massive.
i cant believe they put better call saul in monster huner! 10:31
your honor my client did not kill dodogama on purpose instead of catching it he was mainly doing a breaking bad reference
I really hope we get at least a few of the moves LS got in rise/sunbreak back 🙏
Sacred Sheathe would be cool, but I don’t think we’ll get it in Wilds. I hope I’m wrong.
I just hope we get world/Iceborne LS back, the counter spam mess we have right now is a chore to use for me, i miss my og LS
@@PeppoLS Maybe it could be used as the focus mode attack for LS? Would be really cool!
can't wait for Peppo do the WILDS LONG SWORD speed run
i just remember sand dune map when watch this trailer and jehn mohran coming!!!
We can only hope there’s a blood toggle or someone makes a mod for it. I also really hope it’s got SOME returning monsters. People have been floating around the idea that it will be 95% brand new monsters like Tri, but I wouldn’t like that personally. They need Nergigante at least.
We. Need. Nergigante. Back.
The master rank nergigante gear was so good looking
Chatacabra also reminds me a lot of Garangolm
They both seem to use the Simian animation skeleton and both cover there arms with materials during the hunt.^^
That charge is also very reminiscent of Dodogama
You are right, is literally the fourth monster I had in mind but then I thought there were too many monsters already combined and I had to exclude him ahaha
One thing not many people have picked up on:
The scene where the hunter swaps weapons while on the mount; he begins firing 3 shot bursts. Rapid fire is a Light Bowgun-only feature, but the bowgun he's using is too big to be a Light Bowgun (it's shown folded in the scene just prior).
This leads me to believe that they're maybe reintroducing the Bowgun part swapping system from MHTri where you can mix and match barrels, frames, and magazines to craft your own bowgun.
Good observation, however they already listed all the 14 weapons in Wilds and LBG and HBG are separate. Its hard to believe they are going back to MH3’s Bowgun system
@@PeppoLS Either HBGs are just able to have Rapid Fire now, or parts are limited to Light and Heavy. The actual classification of "Medium" doesn't need to be there.
In either case, I'm already wondering what Rapid Fire Spread HBG can do.
Is that a heavy or light bowgun he's firing on the mount? It looks a bit big to be a LBG, which is interesting because it was using rapidfire ammo.
i think the crocodile is a leviathan. Its morphologically similar to lagiacrus. This means lagiacrus may return!
Yeah that may be possible
It s an amphibian
That's exactly what I thought when watching it for the first time
Xd
Tetsucabra Relatives
Thanks peppo for existing.
I didn't know there was more information on Japanese websites thanks Peppo
You should thank Shincry! :D We always have to keep an eye on the Japanese community ahahah
Peppo is back fellow hunters! 🇮🇹
I just hope we can get 60fps at 1080p, i heard they use DD2 engine, and the game struggles to run 60fps on ps5, and please add crossplay too 😌😌
I think PS5 will have a similar performance of the PS4 PRO with MH:World, which means 45ish FPS. I doubt it will go at 60fps, but hey maybe they will manage to optimize it well for consoles! We'll see once it'll get released :)
Imagine having the normal moveset of the long sword with mobes similar to the old gens ones and mh wilds and in focused mode you can use counters
please be good please be good! 🙏🏻 I hope the performance isn't as bad as it was for dragon's dogma 2...and also that longsword can shine again! I also wonder if they are going to keep the new hunting horn moveset from rise
At 4:22 one thing that i noticed, it looks like the knockback animation is quicker than before
Yes, and something I'd like to add is that I personally think that knockback animation we see after that well-timed attack at 7:24 is something scripted like the clutch claw stagger (clagger) we have in Iceborne.
6:37 this attack looks like the hunter art "Ground Slash" from Generations Ultimate.
I wanted to ask you would it be possible that focus mode is switch skill alike ?
and you can see it 6:27 hunter use slinger to pull himself to rush to the monster ?
@@noirroseofficial8429 it more like hunter art or you can call it silkbind attack but more realistic but i hope it more balance this time
@@cheemslord9917 imagine you have more moves to play but in ecosystem like World would be amazing!
Hard to tell with little information we have on this, but in my opinion it is going to be a mode you will enter after being in combat for a while, or after a certain damage is dealt. Once in this mode, you have access to a new moveset and combos and it will eventually end with a topple/stagger/knock down. That's what I imagine.
Yeah, the hook slinger looks like will be used to unlock new follow-up attacks while in Focus Mode!
They turned off blood effects in the trailers for the last few games(starting with Gen I think?) so you don't have to worry much about that yet. I do hope it's more prominent than in World though, and not as covered up by dust
and the hunter in this trailer is using a water element gs
Hopefully you are right. But I have many doubts they are actually giving us blood effect, most likely is goinjg to be like World from this point of view. I hope I'm wrong.
@@francistein8409I don't know what you're talking about. The GS is 100% the base GS the game starts off with. No way it's water element.
Who was questioning whether or not you'd be able to create your character? Everyone is mentioning this, and I can't fathom why anyone would believe that that wasn't going to be the case. A little bit of voice acting is not a guaranteed sign that character creation has been thrown out the window. I'm genuinely confused where this idea came from.
Seeing how the new amphibian has "cabra" in its name, I'm really holding out hope that we'll see tetsucabra again. The baby in rise made me really want it back lol.
Do you guys think they'll keep the clutch mount / wall bang stuff? A lot of ppl didn't like that in World, I didn't mind but I could live without it
The boat doesn't have a dragonator.... *YET*!
WHERE'S MY DRAGONATOR??!!
2:22 baby Pukei-Pukei?
Please be like World but more dynamic world with more big guys in each zone/map.
Finally. Weapon changing mid hunt. 😈
the real question is, is this old world or new world or new continent?
No idea, I'm not good with MH lore ahahah
The slinger makes me think it’s new world
Obviously New World as only research commission was sent to unexplored land
PRAYING that the "counter" is just a well timed attack cause lord i wanna have fun interacting with the community in this game and not have to listen to people yelling at me for not using cheap, dissatisfying counter mechanics
From what I heard l, it a timed attack to counter. Maybe not all weapons have an counter that works like that.
I would gladly give my left kidney to play Wilds RIGHT NOW. 2025 is to far :c
Hope for openworld feature..
I'd be fine with both tbh. I don't know if I'm ready for an open world MH. I've always been used to separated "hunting locales" since the very first game. I think it's more probable that the team may stick to this traditional concept.
Admittedly the ability to carry two weapons worries me that armor will get more skill bloated than it already is.
Anyone see yourself as a lvl999 doing DAMAGE on the new flag ship
So no Open world?
they still used the term "hunting locales", so most likely not
I hope not.
this is what Tenderizing in mhwib is missing
Iceborne didn't need a tenderizing mechanic. World was already good enough, they just had to add new maps, monsters and weapon moves. That's it.
Im being salty because i know well my potato device cant run a game like this
Just buy a ps5. Plug and play
@@herrscherofgachapain6342 Im broke asf
Time to buy a new GPU ahaha
Just use geforce now and stream the game
Looks amazing. I will play this game to the fullest! I hope they add more blood and hit effects, blood is nice in battles, gives more feeling. The game is already a violent game because it's a battle game with deaths and melee attacks. I hope they don't remove the Helmbreaker from LS and i hope the animation is similar to World and not Rise. I hope they don't put those ugly shine lights on the char when it's buffed, that makes the visuals ugly and you can't even take a pic of your char. And another important thing, i hope they add more epic hit sounds, because in Rise sounds like you are hitting a rubber monster.
Thanks for turning a awfull 30fps trailer into a 60fps marvelous. XD
Idc how the handle the combat, im all for new experimentation but please no meter management, i hate the wirebug timer management bullshit, just let me do what i want at all times. Also im hoping its not gonna turn into a focus mode meta fest like it did with rise where without using the mechanic you couldn't do any damage
Totally agree with you
Man I hate tenderizing
Can’t blame you for that, how they handled it in Iceborne was a complete failure
BYEhOO
the palico speaks? in a meowing way yes but beyond that to hear a word even just the word yes perfectly...that would be great and more or less interesting for some hunters. I will have a lot of trouble imagining this "mechanical" trance-weapon being able to pass a long sword through a hammer or spear, so I can think that there will be buts and yeses in terms of passing a hammer (hammer) through a sharp edge (long sword) like that without a penalty said in the physiology of the weapon in question and its role, the kind to take lagro as on the video and distract like the Safi or the behemoth while others strike but knowing that the monster would be stupid not to know the tactics of the hunters knowing that the monster has such an important strike force that it can change the situation like a nergigante which changes the chance of a capture of the Zora. the environment will have an important role in the ecosystem of flora and not wild fauna, finding honey and flowers in a desert where real-time conditions are difficult would be possible, perhaps in any case and from the first video of wild , the environment changes visibly so, finding fossil corpses for materials knowing that it could appear at a specific time would be... inaccurate perhaps. the tall and hairy monster with a fine tail and role of "alpha" would be like a right of passage to this new world of mh. If, as you say Peppo, if this open world would only be a divided map without being in a single board then that could change, perhaps, ideas. wait more for the next video .
I almost had a stroke trying to read this
@@benturtl9076 yes well, I'm inventing but what do you want? You have to write well, right? No ?
No blood, no effect when bowgun impacts, bad graphicks, same animations, generic sound, poor effects... Capcom didnt invest much into this still after knowing mhw is their BEST selling game. And for sure still not crossplay bettween Xbox and PlayStation.😢😢
It's almost like the game isn't out yet 🤔
Patience bro, patience...
