I like the no face cam for casting and yes face cam for co-op and stream highlights. Makes a good delineation between when you are playing the game in front of us and when you're talking about someone else playing the game imo.

@@skinnycorprus it's custom for the person conceding to say GG. Think of it as someone saying check mate a few moves before they do it. It's cocky and arrogant.
@@trojan2984 i understand the culture behind sc2 loser gg, but like in other games such as maybe cs:go saying gg is very polite, most people just quit straight away, or say something like ggez

It looks like the missing death animations are all just outside the fog-of-war. Maybe too aggressive performance optimisations?
In previous videos it happens just in the middle of a fight though.

Wow, my heart was breaking for Amove. I don't play a whole lot of Ladder (having a whole lot of fun with Co-Op right now) but my inner Zerg was just so sad after that game. I had no idea mules were that OP 😂

In all reality, either of these players would clean my clock. Imo, this is about the best playing I have seen short of professional. Others will disagree, but the level needed to be shown the money is astronomically high.

Sturehof is an old german name and means smthn like "stubborn court" although Hof is a kinda common end for names and doesnt have to mean smthn important. Comes from mixing up the family-name of freshly married couples so it basicly says his family was at some point known for being stubborn. Fits pretty good, doesnt it?
Oh and Hof can also mean his family cuz families used to life in one farm or at the court which both are "Höfe" (plural of Hof)

I think STUREHOF is from Sweden. Its the same name as a famous restaurant in Stockholm (the capital of Sweden).
Pretty sure Lowko knows where the capital of Sweden is lol, he said he's been there a few times i think

For everyone talking shit, that queen micro alone is why he's diamond. Playing queen drop micro will win way more often than not lol. It's really powerful and really hard. Juggling 4 queens in an overlord is as hard to micro as literally anything else. Harder than immortal juggling because of the reduced range, and the fact that you have to micro the Queen's abilities themselves as well. He was healing and juggling at the same time so that they would hot heal while on the inside of the overlord. He'd be masters league if he knew how to macro also haha

@@Guus well I thought you did great man. People tend to forget how difficult Zerg is to play well. I appreciated the number of clicks it takes to juggle queens haha.
Side note: at the beginning you were microing zerglings and running scvs around all over the place, something that helps me is to shift click all over the place and queue up their moves then jump back to hatch for injects and droning. They'll continue to bounce around and scvs will follow them without realizing youre not actually there to attack. It's helps a lot and let's you skyrocket ahead in econ since they lose all that mining time.
These units are not killed. They pleased the Gods and are ascended to Valhalla. Yes , you got it right - there is *at least* one Overlord and one Battlecruiser in Valhalla now.
It may be much more balanced in higher elo but Terran have a lot of "Get out of mistake free" cards. Things like scan's for free detection with mules if your economy gets wrecked makes em pretty powerful when you are learning the game. Also Marines.

Ledrash D2 isch. Macroing only is no problem for me. I can 80 drone hydra ling bane no problem. The fun games are usually not the fun games to share though. That's why a lot of casted games seem worst then their league.

I believe the disappearing death anim (at least in this vid) may be due to the fog of war covering it up before it actually played. Order of operations thing...may have to do with FoW refresh timer or something.

It's been a little while tho... since I last got jumpscared at the start of a Lowko video...
In most games saying gg after winning a match is the polite thing to say. Starcraft and perhaps RTS games in general don't work that way, that much is true. Thus assuming BM isn't necessarily warranted.
Key word here is "After". Sorta like a soccer player saying "good game" when the score is 8-0 with 10 minutes on the clock

i dont think the overlords dead animation just bugged. the marines shot and dont move to get in range until they can shot again. if the overlord moves out of sightrange in that exact moment the overlord is not in ur sight range and there is no reason to load a dead animation to ur pc screen if u dont see the unit.
Diamond player decides to go mutalisk against bio terran, there is bajillion way it can go wrong and only 1 way it can work - if terran gets disconnected.

regarding the comments that say "no way these guys are in diamond", in this case there is actually a justification - blizzard set up the league in such way that a very low diamond3 player to a high diamond1 player is the same as a mid silver3 player to a mid plat1 player. if you don't believe me check out the mmr ranges for each league. i suspect they do this intentionally so that people who play regularly and improve ever so slightly can feel that they are above average (which they probably are, but if u put them say in plat2 which supposed to be above average they would feel bad about their placement)

Great job at casting Lowko! Staying at 0 worker is extreme of course, but I wonder if there's some sort of technique to keep track of the worker count during the game, like do you know for example how the professionals know in the game how many workers they have at any point? Do they just try to saturate all the bases and multiply by 16+6? (If so, then how about after mining out some patches?) Or do they just go over all the bases and add up the numbers? It would be pretty useful for a beginner like me to have a strategy in mind to keep track of exactly how many workers there are. Cheers!
You can actually check your worker count by hovering over your supply. I actually never use that and I should, but I think you can.

to get rid of the units disappearing you need to delete the system 32 file, as its cache is too full. once it is gone reinstall sc2 and it should fix the issue

Ok... i have a question...at minute 11:50 the mutas are attacking the widow mines of the terran player...how he did that without detection...i tought the widow mines when burowed where supposed to be invisible for the enemy.
