Thanks. My whole Family and I are moving to Bohol this September in the Philippines. Can’t wait to buy a bike there. Since it’s bike Country. Here in the US I barely see another biker that I encounter while riding.

Nice. One of the hassles for vlogging in a bike ime is constantly changing your batteries. I hated it. I feel like I'm on a timer. Plus the battery you though you replace is not even fully charge so got do the same thing again lol. Including lost footage. GoPros does not warn you with a sound when your battery is low.

A stupid question that I can't confirm anywhere... If I set up a GP8 Black on the chin with the Panda mic, can I give voice controls to the GP?
My current setup without a mic has too much wind noise. Even with the visor up, the GP will not accept any commands.

Thanks. Without the Panda Mic and the GoPro hero 8 Media Mod it’s impossible to Hear your voice. It’s to windy and noisy. The Media Mod and the Mic does not give you voice controls. Just plug it to the media mods 3.5mm jack port. the mic has a (dead cat included) between your cheek pads, close your visor, ride and start talking. After your done turn off the GoPro. If you want to record again turn the GoPro on again press record. and start riding & taking. Rinse and repeat. When you go home take your Sd card of your GoPro transfer the videos to your PC or phone and you can hear your voice already sync on your videos you recorded without a separate recorder and no wind noise. If you have your visor up you will hear a little wind noise. But you can still hear your voice.

Yes. Eventually Someday. But of what cost? Plus the camera must be on par with the GoPro hero 8-10 in terms of video stabilization.
@@WristTaker I'm not sure maybe permanent attachment points so one could upgrade ? the gopros are so awsome except for battery life it's frustrating.
@@ExploringCabinsandMines Manufacturers should do the attachments points in a great idea. For now we have to mod it ourselves. I kinda like it. Without the extra battery pack yuck it’s a nightmare. I feel you.
Awesome video. I have it the same way and I have to say, that the powerbank actually balances out the weight of the go pro too. Them GoPros are heavy after a few hours😂
Thanks. Even Motovloggers are staying with the hero 8. Hero 9 -10 is more heavier & bigger battery and adding a mod for that specific model makes it more heavier. For what? So we can see ourselves in the front screen? We don’t need a front screen while riding. Other motovloggers are using hero 9 & 10 and they have to turn off that front camera screen or they will keep changing batteries quick.

Is our voice recorded during the GoPro recording process while charging using a power bank via a mic adapter?
An important factor you forgot to mention is...Hero 4 and older can only
be plugged into a 1.0 AMP port to charge or use for external power.
I understand but In the video I said this will only work for the GoPro Hero 8 black not hero 7 black or below. Anything below the hero 7 black model is not worth using. They are to outdated and no video stabilization.
While connecting with power bank .. your go pro battery is still inside or we have to remove the battery and then only use power bank for this
I keep my GoPro battery inside all the time. So I don’t to charge it for some reason. I actually never tried Just using the power bank only. It should work, it’s powered by USBC through the media mod.

I have 7 black. Same setup with 5000 mah 1.0 A output external battery then probably i can go without any issues. Right?
But how are you going to have audio? On a separate recorder ? If that’s the case yes.

Thats actually a good question. Never thought of that. IME I don’t think so since I’ve been using this setup for 2 years now. I still have the same gopro batteries. Actually the battery pack in back of the helmet does not even ran out after I’m done vlogging for the day so the GoPro battery just stay full. When I go the beach or something else I just use the regular GoPro batteries (I have 3 of them) seem to be working fine.

No and yes. You can use a mic adapter that GoPro sells. But the battery back you can’t. There is no Hero mod only hero 8 and beyond.

It will only work with the GoPro Hero 8 Mod Adapter if you want the longer battery life. it will Not work with GoPro Mic Adapter it’s does not have a usbc port.
What about overheat issue
Wla man ako problema sa overheat. Dito ako sa Florida USA. Pariha sa weather sa Pinas. Kong ma overheat ito hero 8 turn off Mulang ang camera, don’t let it expose from the sun for 30 minutes.
Kung nasa mataas na reso yun setup hindi kaba nagoverheat sir?salamat sa info.nakabili kasi ako hero 10.10minutes palang overheat na 4k reso sya
